Come stay in our beautiful safari tent and experience our flower farm and old-growth Maple Forest. Located in the heart of Olalla near the Colvos Passage waterway, a ferry ride from West Seattle, 20 minutes from Tacoma, and near the quaint town of Gig Harbor.
Last year we upgraded to two queen sized memory foam beds!! Lovely 100% cotton sheets and cozy blankets will keep you nice and comfy on those cool nights. Two extra twin sized cots are available to rent in the "Extras" section of the listing.**
You will feel very secluded on our 5 acre property. Our parcel is partially wooded and partially cleared for our flower farm. But it adjoins neighboring properties that have an additional 20+ acres that are totally wooded giving the feeling of being further away from civilization than you are. Enjoy an outdoor shower on the edge of the woods with on-demand hot water. You’ll also have your own custom made steel fire pit with fire wood available for purchase (or you can bring your own). We have an outdoor picnic table as well as a table inside the tent for late night card games.
There's a lovely little bathroom with a composting toilet and a sink with running water. We allow up to 6 people (absolutely no pets) and request that parties respect the limit so that our composting toilet can keep up with the demand with minimal servicing while you are here (to maintain your privacy).
Please contact us to set up a time for a guided tour if you are interested in seeing the farm up close. Please no U-pick or tours without guidance.
We’d like to make sure to point out that there is convenient and dedicated parking for campers but the camping spot is about 200 feet from the parking area and over uneven ground. A cart is provided for unpacking your vehicle. Because it is very dark here at night, we would request that campers arrive before dark to safely find their way and unload with adequate light.
Things provided: Weather proof tent, two queen sized beds and bed linens, outdoor and indoor tables chairs, solar-powered lights, composting toilet, firepit, outdoor shower with hot water, parking for 2 cars.

Fern Gully is a perfect spot for group camping, off in the back of the property offered much privacy! Beautiful grounds and very serene! Many trails and the lake had many Bass, but too small this year to keep. Highly recommend!

Really lovely spot! Cozy setup, good directions, great communication from the host when I had questions. So nice to have a real bed while camping! If you’re a light sleeper, there’s a rooster and dogs nearby and the bullfrogs get some good volume too! 😆 We played white noise on my phone to help but there is no electricity at the site so you’ll want to bring a portable charger of some sort if you need it. Excellent stay overall! Loved paddling around the little pond!

Our family loved camping here! It was our first time camping with kiddos and the amenities made it so much easier. Comfy warm beds, hot shower, and composting toilet made camp life a breeze. Jodi and Aaron were the sweetest hosts, offering recommendations for 4th of July fireworks viewing and restaurants. Would absolutely recommend this spot - it was an easy commute from Seattle on the Southworth Ferry.

We stayed overnight at this glamping site booked through Hipcamp, and it was the perfect escape. The roomy structured tent on a raised platform was cozy and comfortable, with thoughtful amenities like a portable restroom (complete with sink and lighting), a grill, fireplace, and even firewood provided. The lake is less than 50 feet from the tent and full of fish — a great bonus for relaxing or casting a line. It’s just 20 minutes outside of town, pet-friendly, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend for a peaceful couples getaway ✨️

We had a really wonderful stay here! The tent, linens, and bed were all very comfortable and clean. The site is at a corner of the property that feels private and quiet, plus it's right next to one of the trails. It was lovely walking the property and through the well marked trails in the woods, and the host was so friendly when we crossed paths. We definitely want to come back!

Everything was better than we could have imagined. Space was beautiful, location was easy to get to, and convenient to Olalla market, the park, beds were comfy. Super nice outdoor hot water shower, games for entertaining and a great fire pit (bring wood). Jodi and Aaron were fabulous hosts and we left with a vehicle full of beautiful flowers. Also, the doggies Norman and Bruce brought us much joy when we got a chance to visit them. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet night away.

Elona was such a gracious host! The Dragonfly Den was exactly what my friend and I were looking for in a cozy reading retreat. The Den was intimate and wonderful. We had such a lovely time, even with less than ideal weather! The beds were very comfortable (probably the most comfortable beds we’ve had ant ANY accommodation) and sufficiently warm. The tent was super spacious and it was nice to have a little seating area inside where it was dry. Jodi was very willing to answer ALL of our questions so we felt sufficiently prepared. It is clear that this property is well loved and the hosts take pride in providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay for their guests.
