This is a very private and quiet place, more of a sanctuary and not a party place. The only thing you hear is nature, a breeze through the pine trees, the birds, and the creek. This property was and is an organic permaculture farm in the forest. There are two orchards and an organic garden. The water is from a spring. The La Luna cabin is no longer off grid, but if the power does go out, it's a great place to be.. Hot Showers at my cabins are private and outdoors. There's nothing more wonderful than a hot spring-fed shower. The toilets are composting. (No water is wasted here)! Two of the cabins were built from the trees on the property by the first family that lived here in the earlier 1900s. The Birds Nest cabin was originally a tool shed that needed a LOT of Love to be in the condition that it is today. It does have power, running water and wi-fi. There is the option to take an acrylic painting class, banjo, guitar or fiddle lessons, paddleboard lessons, and have a real old-timey campfire with a glass of wine or two with live music performed by our famous Fiddlin Red on the fiddle, banjo, and guitar. Your experience here may change your life forever! We haven't added all the experiential options yet, so if there is something you are interested in please inquire. Every year we make it more and more magical and interesting. It's four miles up a county-maintained dirt road and one mile to a non-motorized lake. I can't see my neighbors, but they are awesome artists and musicians and some of them are off the grid! If you're bringing a pet, they must be on a leash and be quiet pets. If you are bringing a child they also need to be quiet and respectful. I want to keep my neighbors and my other guests happy with a peaceful atmosphere. Thank you!

There was originally a camper parked here with a roof over it while the main house was built back in th 1970s. When the home was finished the camper was moved out and it was turned into the cabin. It originally had a wood stove but it was always to hot so we replaced it with an electric heater and at the same time remodeled the interior. It is very comfortable for two to three people as it only has the bunk beds, microwave, small closet and dining table with 4 chairs including a rocker and a cabinet with pots, pans and silverware for your convenience. Learn more about this land: Country cabin is on the treeline at the base of O'tool mt. across the street from Lk. Roosevelt. Includes bunk beds, frig, microwave, hot plate, coffee pot, toaster, dining table, small closet, firepit with firewood and horseshoe pits with shoes. One mile to boat launch. Ten miles to nearest loaf of bread. Close to logging roads. You will have aprox. one acre to yourself. Quiet and secluded. We are close by if ever there is anything you need. Recently we were very close to the Crown Creek fire and a hotshot crew came and "prept" our property and cut down a lot of the underbrush therefore changing the landscape around the cabin so the main picture has changed to the current one.

A unique Hipcamp location in a forest sanctuary for trees, animals, insects, reptiles and humans. Our property is located west of Sandpoint, ID near the "Happy Fork Gap" at the southern terminus of the Selkirk Crest. Our peaceful property is surrounded by thousands of acres of state and private land. We are located just 8 miles west of downtown. During the heat of summer it's a bit cooler up here thanks to tall trees and fresh mtn breezes. Come enjoy birdwatching or maybe see a moose and her babies cruise by. Fall asleep to the soothing sound of the creek while surrounded by forest. We have woodpeckers, owl, deer, turkey, frogs and more living around the property. Our property has a colorful history. In the 80's a squatters cabin was erected on it until it met its demise by a legendary resident mtn man (RIP). It was once a logging camp long ago but nowadays it is a home for all living things and a 35+ yr old forest with an array of tree species such as cedar, larch, pines, hemlock, spruce and more. Artesian springs bubble up and into a year round creek which flows through. Peace and quiet can be found here as well as good energy from your camp hosts. Weekend Trip to Spokane River Lodge - Guest Suite

Rocky was a super gracious and helpful host. The room was clean and comfortable and the amenities were amazing! Rocky even had s'mores stuff set out for the campfire. We really enjoyed the hot tub and hiking down by the river. Worth every penny!

Lovely and safe neighborhood area with a gate that locks. The large, gravel RV pad is nice & level. A great place to stay over night as we were passing through. This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here. Andre is a great host! Very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Sara’s cabin was a perfect last stop on our road trip. It was so clean, quiet, and cozy. The morning stroll through the property down to the river with the dogs was refreshing and peaceful. I wished I could have stayed longer! I would absolutely go back on any future Spokane trips.

The water is shallow and navigable even for dogs who don't have a ton of water confidence!

Wonderful place with river views in quiet serene neighborhood of Spokane. Rocky was very helpful and check in and out was easy. The great little touches in the kitchenette with coffee included cream and milk along with snacks. Highly recommend the place if you’re traveling through Spokane and need a cozy quiet place to relax.

Weekend Trip to Little Spokane Riverside Retreat

We enjoyed our stay at Sara's spot. The river was peaceful and she had all the things needed to have a pleasant experience - picnic table, lawn chairs, inner tube floaters and my favorite a glider rocking bench. When booking the site we thought we could drive in and out of the place to visit relatives in Spokane. Sara's place was perfectly situated to the city however the rough and rutty road to her rv parking spot was not something we wanted to drive on every day. Fortunately we found some different solutions and Sara was very patience and accommodating to our situation. She also communicates well through hip camp texting.

We truly enjoyed ourselves at The Bunk House. Stayed two nights. The amenties were on point and made it so easy to last minute plan a mini trip. We only needed food and clothes. We spent most of our days down at the river. The kids loved playing all day in the water. Floaties included. Sara is a very attentive host. Her two dog's were awesome and were great with our small baby dog. Great vibes! We will be back!!

We loved our night on Robin’s land and this quickly became one of our favorite places. It was set up perfectly with everything we could have needed. Great recommendation of live music just a couple miles away. Really enjoyed the outdoor shower and kids loved interacting with all of the animals. We would love to stay again if in the area. Sara has gone beyond expectations to make her land fun-filled, clean and attractive, and outfitted for a perfect camping experience. A thoughtful communicator and animal lover, Sara took the time necessary to introduce our dogs to each other and to us. They were delightful to be around. As for the river experience, it couldn't have been better...watching people on float-downs while we anchored in a big floatie (which she provided) all afternoon. The covered fire pit was surrounded by really nice chairs and plenty of firewood was nearby. What a great place to find right on the riverbank! We'll be back! Highly recommend!
