Historically, Deep Creek Canyon was a winter encampment for the Spokane Indians, whose ancestral lands surround us. We feel the healing spirit of the land, in partnership and stewardship. This is a very private and quiet place, more of a sanctuary and not a party place. The only thing you hear is nature, a breeze through the pine trees, the birds, and the creek. This property was and is an organic permaculture farm in the forest. There are two orchards and an organic garden. The water is from a spring. The La Luna cabin is no longer off grid, but if the power does go out, it's a great place to be.. Hot Showers at my cabins are private and outdoors. There's nothing more wonderful than a hot spring-fed shower. The toilets are composting. (No water is wasted here)! Two of the cabins were built from the trees on the property by the first family that lived here in the earlier 1900s. The Birds Nest cabin was originally a tool shed that needed a LOT of Love to be in the condition that it is today. It does have power, running water and wi-fi. There is the option to take an acrylic painting class, banjo, guitar or fiddle lessons, paddleboard lessons, and have a real old-timey campfire with a glass of wine or two with live music performed by our famous Fiddlin Red on the fiddle, banjo, and guitar. Your experience here may change your life forever! We haven't added all the experiential options yet, so if there is something you are interested in please inquire. Every year we make it more and more magical and interesting. It's four miles up a county-maintained dirt road and one mile to a non-motorized lake. I can't see my neighbors, but they are awesome artists and musicians and some of them are off the grid! If you're bringing a pet, they must be on a leash and be quiet pets. If you are bringing a child they also need to be quiet and respectful. I want to keep my neighbors and my other guests happy with a peaceful atmosphere. Thank you!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW: We are a real working farm, not like a romanticized IG version of a farm. There are tractors running, sprayers making applications, farm animals loudly enjoying life, day customers picking fruit, and farmers about early in the morning. With that being said, we understand that experience may not be to everyone's liking. Be aware that if you do decide to camp here be ready for a real farm adventure! Another little tidbit: to grow food, we try to maximize the amount of sun it receives- SHADE IS VERY LIMITED. ALL CAMPSITES ARE U-PICK, THERE ARE NO DESIGNATED CAMPSITES. Let your creativity shine and choose as dope a spot as you like! If you're scared of driving off a paved road or frightened by the natural world we suggest glamping at another lovely Green Bluff location. Starting SEPTEMBER 23RD until OCTOBER 31ST every weekday we host hundreds of school kids on the farm. They start arriving around 9:00 am. If the sound of children's laughter drives you absolutely insane, you might think twice about booking a stay with us in the fall. Winter camping is available, please note we typically receive a lot of snow. Early spring is the extreme mud season, please be cautious of our soft ground and stick to the roads. July-August can get very dry some years, which means the grass goes dormant and dust starts to fly. Farm=Dirt MAX STAY IS 14 DAYS. No Side by Sides (UTV's), dirt bikes, or ATV's allowed to be rallied on the property. We can suggest close spots to rally. Bookings must be done though this site, we do not take payment for stays at the farm. Agriculture 101: In the early spring, fruit trees awaken from winter dormancy, bloom for a few weeks, and are pollinated by insects; the pollinated blossoms SLOWLY develop into fruit over the summer. As much as we’d like instant fruit in the spring, nature doesn’t work that way. Fruit development takes time.

There are mountains, wetlands, meadows and forest land right in our back yard where we often see wildlife that call our area home. We don't have a view of the river but it's nearby and our meadows and mountains offer a peaceful scene all its own. Feels like we're in the country but we live on a paved county road and only 4 miles from the city of Priest River. Bring your boat for a trip on the Pend Oreille River to Lake Pend Oreille. Launching is a short distance away at the Mud Hole, Priest River City Beach or Riley Creek Campground. Try your hand at fishing for bass, kokanee, perch, northern pike, and trout in the river or on the lake. Wake up in a peaceful woodsy setting where elk, deer, the occasional moose and turkeys roam the property and are often seen in the meadow. Load up your ATV, side by side or motorcycle and head for Priest Lake right from here. It’s a 21 mile (40 minute ride) to Coolin, ID. Enjoy the back county and take some of the IDL roads along the way to explore scenic drainages and in July/August pick some luscious huckleberries (the state fruit of Idaho) for a pancake or milkshake treat. In the fall, a nice central location for hunting camp. Want to go skiing or enjoy the summer lift ride? Head up to Schweitzer Mountain, about an hour drive away (38 miles/65 mins). Our property was originally homesteaded back before Idaho was a state by a trapper who fell in love with this lush little valley in the mountains. Once Idaho did become a state, the officials decided to keep the land surrounding this little oasis making it completely surrounded by thousands of acres of state endowment land usable to the public. What a beautiful and wonderful place to stay! It had way more accommodations and things that were included that I didn’t even realize about until we arrived! Amazing! Jane is such a sweet host and truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and special! I will be recommending this spot to my friends and family and hope to be returning for years to come! 😍

Weekend Trip to Hidden Acres Orchards

This was a fun experience! We go to Hidden Acres for u-pick every year and never thought to camp there. So happy we did this time! Our kiddos and pups (on-leash of course; pups not kids!) loved exploring the orchards by moonlight, waking up with the animals in the crisp morning, and slept so well in the country air. Because we could pick our spot, all the campers felt quite secluded and like we had the place to ourselves. Even though we had our own trailer having access to a real washroom and an outside shower was a treat. Thanks to the whole team at Hidden Acres for giving us an experience that we come back for every year!

We love the lack of marked sites - just find your patch of land away from others and settle in. You can choose orchard or pumpkin field vibes. The farm store is great, with lots of great artisan foods. Try the breakfast pastries! In the fall the apples are amazing. On a school day you might see a field trip of kids in the play areas or stomping through the fields looking for pumpkins. A few other things: Cell service (we're AT&T) was sometimes okay for streaming, but sometimes switched to a band with no data. It was better at night. The shower is outdoors, open to the sky. Plenty of hot water. The handles are reversed - hot is on the right. Five bucks is a bit steep for a shower, but when you've been boondocking a while, it can be worth it. If you need more water, you can fill containers at an outdoor sink near the store. Across the road from the entrance is The Big Barn, a brewery with good beer, food truck, and live music out on the lawn. Nice atmosphere - we went two afternoons in a row.

As a mom who often camps alone with the kids, I’m particular about where we will stay. Hidden Acres felt very safe, welcoming, and the kids loved the little playground area. I appreciated that staff were always a short walk away and being that they live on the property, I felt confident I could easily call if needed. The highlight of our visit was the kids being able to run around in the orchard rows and open spaces without disturbing others. Also, the ducks were a favorite! We probably won’t make it back this fall, but the kids are already asking to come back next summer.

Fantastic place. Very clean and very neat. Sabrina thought of everything! Lanterns, headlamps, outdoor solar lights, motion lights, clover in the outdoor shower, books, private with fantastic views. We will def book again.

Weekend Trip to Prater mountain ranch

I had a peaceful and quiet time at this lovely property. I booked for the weekend and ended up being the only one there. Will was a great host and checked in on me daily. My dog and I had a wonderful time. We chilled in the morning, had a swim in the lovely pond, a nice walk and a nap then sat by the fire in the evening. Couldn't be better. Highly recommend and looking forward to going to one of the music festivals the owners hold there!!! Thank you so much.

We stayed here last year and my wife wants it to be a yearly tradition. It's a beautiful orchard that lets you camp in many different locations. They've got bathrooms near their shop, and showers you can buy. The farm is right across the street from Big Barn Brewing, and it has a coffee/snack stand for the mornings. My wife loved the pumpkin waffles!

A fantastic spot to camp! Can't recommend it enough.

Site 1 is spacious and includes 50 amp electrical service and water hookup. RV's up to 55' and room for parking 2 vehicles. The lot is fairly open but is surrounded by trees. Includes a fire pit, picnic table, firewood, a big deck/table and a bbq.

We loved staying at this HipCamp. It was one of the best locations we have stayed. Literally feet away from the Pend Oreille River, the views were amazing. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had to change our plans and they worked with HipCamp to get two nights refunded even though it was outside their cancellation policy. We would definitely stay here again.

I was passing through and needed a last-minute spot to spend the night — this was a great choice! Easy to find, quiet, and perfect for a good night’s rest. Waking up next to the apple trees was amazing. This city boy and his dog really enjoyed it.
