GAEA (the old Greek spelling of Mother Earth) is the name of our property.
Historically, Deep Creek Canyon was a winter encampment for the Spokane Indians, whose ancestral lands surround us. We feel the healing spirit of the land, in partnership and stewardship. Our original house was one of the first in the canyon, in the early 1940's.
There’s a map of the 5 acres that leads you to hidden features, like the gypsy fortune-telling tea house, a fairy mound at the base of a huge fir tree, a yoga platform, and a Buddha bench for contemplating or conversation.
We are in a forested canyon with a dark sky at night and plenty of wildlife.

Beautiful waterfront property on Deer Lake with 20 acres and a year round creek. Borders a wildlife preserve and state timberland as well as Deer Lake wetlands. This property has secondary access to deer lake resort for a day fee with a public swimming area and store.
Mosquitoes can be active at times seasonally so plan accordingly.
ON the lake near the wetlands with seemingly endless hiking, biking, walking and exploring with a true serene nature experience.
Expect turtles to walk through the site during the summer while they choose nesting spots on my property. There are wild strawberries and raspberries all over.
I recommend downloading On X so you can see the boundaries of the property and explore the 20 acres. The wetlands are included in this property.

Located on the east shore of Lake Roosevelt overlooking lake with a even or a tiny cabin with 2 twin beds. There is a fire pit and a small bar b que. The lake has good fishing and there is a trail or stairs to lake.. The view of the lake and mountains is always a pleasure. The sunsets are great. Also has a shared rest room. One cord for your phone. Starlink is at main house but available. Password is 42623nedro. You have to be close to the bathroom to get service.

We're nestled in the pines, just off the highway. Our property is on a deeded piece of land within the Spokane Indian Reservation. We are 5 miles from Lake Roosevelt and the Fort Spokane boat launch. Lake Roosevelt is known for its excellent fishing, and is the only lake in Washington state that contains walleye! A small motel was built on this property back in 1998 and is consistently complemented on it's clean rooms and peaceful setting. Our RV camp is rustic & peaceful with only natural vegetation (no pads), and each spot provides FULL hookups. Be prepared to level your rig. Escape to a peaceful forested retreat at Twin Creeks, nestled in the natural beauty of Washington State. This private campground offers a quiet, secluded setting surrounded by trees, meadows and a small creek making it an ideal getaway for those looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.
Located less than 4 miles off of Newport/Hwy 2 it is quick and easy access to the retreat area. Propane, diesel and gasoline are readily available at the turn off from Hwy 2 along with a full grocery store, mini mart and the Ram Drive in featuring their famous, year round Huckleberry ice cream and milkshakes.
Twin Creeks is a small working farm with cows, chickens and dogs. There is also seasonal wildlife that frequent the area. Across the creek is a large nest that has been home to a couple of red tail hawks and their offspring over the last three years. We have Canadian geese that visit, some mallard ducks that visit the creek right behalong with a plethora of robins, wild turkeys, quail, doves and the occasional blue heron navigating from the ponds below us to Reflection lake above us.
Along with our small herd of Highlander cows you will also often see white tailed deer, possibly the resident marmot and in a rare summer appearance a moose.
Enjoy the soothing sounds of nearby creeks, fresh forest air, and plenty of space to relax. The site is well-suited for tents, RVs, and campers, offering a simple and laid-back camping experience with a focus on privacy and natural surroundings.

It’s a small, tents-only campground. There are only 7 sites, but we stayed for two nights and only one other site was occupied the whole time. It’s right off the road, which makes it easy to find, though it was a little loud sometimes. There were plenty of trees so the sites were fairly private. There’s a swimming area with a dock, and lots of beach to walk along. It was lovely!
