Weekend Trip to Hidden Meadow Retreat
We loved our one night stay at Jake and Molly’s! The tent was spacious inside and we were nice and warm during the night. We also loved stargazing by the fire pit; it was so clear! We could even hear coyotes howling and owls hooting in the distance. A special stay for sure!

Omg…what a lovely place. Resettled in the woods and also placed in open meadow with access to adorable trails and sitting benches to explore and enjoy. The family (the hosts) are gems and super kind. If you have the opportunity to stop by and stay, you will not be disappointed.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Meadow Retreat
We stayed in the yurt on their property and it was beautiful. Before coming, I had thought that the yurt was a little further away from the tent camp sites, but it was not. If you're looking for cozy privacy, this is probably not the spot. The hosts, however, really put a lot of thought into their campsites and amenities. The toilets were close enough that it was convenient, there was a sink for washing hands and a hot shower. There were trails along the sound and places for quiet sitting. We played some corn hole in the big open field, and really had a wonderfully relaxing time!

Frankly speaking. this was one of the best camping trips we ever had. Booked it at a very last minute and upon getting there, while rather basic, the whole experience just blew us away. Such a peaceful and tranquil place! The mornings were surreal, no car noises, no airplanes, just birds and nothing else! Furthermore, to my surprise our kids were spending hours around sheep and never mentioned they were bored (WIFI is only available in around the outdoor kitchen) and we didn’t have a reception, which was great, a true gadget detox 🙂. Once again this was a great experience and we can’t wait to get back there!

Camping here was amazing!! The peace and the natural beauty were amazing! The composting toilets didn't smell at all. So refeshing. The outdoor kitchen had all the basics with a fun vibe!

Jake and Molly thought of all the details in that Bell Tent. You don't need a mattress, just need bedsheets, they have arranged everything for you, even pillows. They even provided us a lighter for the fire. Overall, a good experience.

We have a wonderful time at staying at the stargazer tent. The meadow was filled with white flowers and they have everything you would need - hot shower, wood for campfire (even the lighter), tiki torch and oil, lawn games, etc. Just need to bring bedding and food. It was perfect as the first camping experience for our 1 year old.

Den’s place is a great place to get away from the bustle of life. I stayed in the red yurt, which was large enough for me and my 55lb dog, and her dog bed. Our space was private and shaded in the trees.
The outdoor kitchen is super charming and has everything you need to cook up some food, charge your phone, or get some filtered water.
I chose this place hoping to avoid the sound of fireworks over the 4th, but unfortunately they neighbors off yonder didn’t mind risking a forest fire. So my poor dog and I had to pack up and leave early for our sanity.
Den was friendly and welcoming, along with some other folks there helping out.
I would definitely go back for another stay.

Just as everyone has mentioned, the location is beautiful spacious and peaceful. I stayed in the blue tent near a magical maple tree. I heard called grandmother Maple. Den was so welcoming when we first got there.

We recently stayed at Jake and Molly's Stargazer Tent for our first-ever camping experience, and it was fantastic! The camp had everything we needed, from running water to electricity, which made things super convenient for beginners like us. The tent itself was cozy and comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors with some added comfort!

Everything went well. Nice private site. Staff super helpful. Den answered my questions before I arrived (on a gold wing trike and wanted to make sure I could get to site. )
Beautiful property, eclectic. Outdoor kitchen was great to have. Outdoor shower worked however needs a little work.
Nice walking trails. A must if you wish some of nature’s grandest beauty.

This place was everything we hoped for and more—quiet, peaceful, and truly perfect for unwinding. The yurt was cozy, clean, and super comfortable. We loved having a hot shower after a day of exploring, and the hot tub under the stars was the cherry on top. Such a special place—we can’t wait to come back!

1 night at Hidden Meadow Retreat
The stargazer tent was absolutely amazing! The road to the camp was easy to navigate, and the land coming up to the yurt was so beautiful to look at. It’s definitely worth taking a short walk to the lake/river at the back. The yurt itself was so clean and tidy, with helpful instructions dotted around e.g. how to work the heater and the power generator. The toilets and washroom were clean, we didn’t use the shower or hot tub but these also looked great. We met Jake shortly after arriving, he was lovely and welcoming. Bonus points for meeting Wilma (one of the doggies) she was so well behaved! We would definitely stay here again, wish we could have stayed here longer.

This is a magical property. I went on a long early-morning walk and saw deer, rabbits, eagles and herons. Jake and Molly have the place beautifully set up with hundreds of little touches to keep you on your toes, like gnomes dotting the trails and handmade benches with views of the inlet. All that is without mentioning the extremely comfortable tent. Our girls and we slept soundly and our phones were all charged up for the next day of driving. We also got to meet the resident dog, Wilma, who is as cute as her name!

Weekend Trip to Hidden Meadow Retreat
Through and through, this experience was incredible!! Super easy to access, beautiful layout, and the amenities were amazing. Every single thing is accommodated for, from bundles of wood, power supply/charging stations, Games/Activities, etc. Everything is extremely clean and tidy as well.
The Stargazer Tent is also extremely comfy and cozy.
Overall a 10/10 experience that is perfect for a trip with family & friends or a romantic getaway. Will absolutely be going back ASAP!
