We’re still expanding and adding more, so there’s always something new taking shape. We keep things simple and seasonal out here. If you’d like some farm-fresh goods, just let us know — we’ll ride up with a couple of baskets when we’re around. Offerings change with the seasons, but you might find fresh produce, homemade goods, or farm eggs when the hens are laying (they usually take a break through fall and winter here in Zone 6). If you’re looking to hang around longer, we do allow extended stays when space allows — and there’s usually a bit of farm work or odd jobs available if you’d like to trade some time for a reduced stay. Beautiful quiet campspot along a meadow edge next to a lush hardwood forest. Host was very very accomodating. He recommended - and we took him up on it- the short hike to Eagle Rock, down to the Horsepen Run Creek, and on to an isolated beach of the Rappahannock River. Only 15 minutes from Fredericksburg, but feels like hours away.

I loved this place, absolutely beautiful property with a great atmosphere! Great beer and food that was very reasonable priced! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the owner was very accommodating. I wish I didn't live so far away because this place is amazing and I'd come here often. The camp sight was very cozy just a few hundred feet away from the brewery/winery with a fresh water hook up on sight, picnic table, free wifi, and fire place. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Loved camping at this property. Camped on the site close to the fence line to the left of the entrance. Water was close by and easily accessible to fill up fresh water. Had lots of privacy even when they were open due to facing away from the parking lot. Lot was relatively flat and had great afternoon shade. Chris was very responsive and an excellent host. Appreciated being able to run generator at all times. Beer and food was excellent. Definitely plan on visiting again!!

We have nothing but good to say about this place! The views are amazing. Really, it’s paradise in every direction. The host is extremely welcoming and accommodating. She invited us to walk our dog in the larger property. There is a very beautiful walking trail. The location is very convenient to AT trailheads. Lower White Oak Canyon trailhead is 20 minutes away. Old Rag, Sperryville, and the entrance to Skyline Drive at Thornton Gap are all close. You can use this spot as a base camp to hike for a few days straight. The site is dry camping but there is a well head with a spigot with good water. There’s uninterrupted sun everywhere so solar works very well.

We are a Nature Retreat bordering Nature Conservancy land along a tributary and up and down the Rappahannock River. You can hike along the stream down to the river and up and down the river. You can fish and float the river. There are no trails so a moderate level of fitness and comfort in the forest is needed. You can follow the water ways but it is wilderness. Camping there is primitive but available or you can camp or glamp at Earthwalk Ways Retreat. We are also adjacent to a 50 acre farm on the other side of the creek that is available for hiking. There is a reservoir nearby as well. We are in the midst of the suburbs not far from Fredericksburg, which has some great historic and community places of interest. Our facilities are private and we only rent to one or 2 guests at a time. You can glamp in a trailer, or car camp in a nice campground with power and water or you can go primitive and pack in. All spaces include access to our classical 11 circuit labyrinth and backyard gardens where you can enjoy zen rock garden and other contemplative nature crafts. There are some great extra's here as well including an outdoor jacuzzi and indoor infrared sauna and massage chair. These spa features are another great way to get your zen on here. I offer Forest Bathing and individual retreat support sessions, an quarterly sweat lodge and also vision quest support if people would like to experience a solo nature immersion feast.

We love our little spot near the river, and we love sharing it with others who enjoy getting outside.  Located just 4 miles from Strasburg, Virginia, we are within striking distance of a variety of hiking and outdoor adventures, including the Strasburg River Walk (5 miles away), Signal Knob Trail (13 miles away), Elizabeth Furnace Recreational Area (13 miles away), Tuscarora Trail Eagle Rock Trail (19 miles away), Shenandoah River State Park (24 miles away), Overlook Trail (25 miles away), and Camp Roosevelt Recreation Area (27 miles away).  Downtown Strasburg also has tons of antique shops, Box Office Brewery, The Pancake Underground, Old Dominion Doggery, Burger Shoppe, Ice Cream Depot, and the Strasburg Museum, which is great for anyone who loves trains or history.  We are a short drive to Woodstock and Front Royal as well.
