Originally part of Blake Farm, built in the 1930's. Blake Farm was subdivided into 5 acres farmettes in the 1990's. The original farmhouse is next door, now known as Agape Farms. The forest has reclaimed much of the original Blake Farm land. Visit over 4 acres of available land, from the pastures, to the wooded creek, or the very back edge of the farm abutting deep woods. Spend relaxing time petting the Nigerian Dwarf goats, Rhode Island Red chickens, and the super-friendly livestock guard dogs (Thomasina, Bucky, and Sarge). We are also located adjacent to Agape Farms, with its horses, ducks, and chickens. All this in horse country just minutes from I-95 and an hour from Washington, DC or Richmond, VA.

Looking for a personal retreat or get away ? Escape to our beautiful, RUSTIC 32 acre wild farm. A lovely balance between wild and tame. We are 10 minutes from the Potomac River, 10 minutes from Opequon Creek, 20 from Antietam Creek and 30 minutes from the Shenandoah River. Harper's Ferry is 30 minutes way and downtown Historic Shepherdstown is just down the road. We are also close to several state parks. - What do we mean by "RUSTIC" ? The camping experience we offer is about unplugging from the modern world , getting back to basics, slowing down and re-connecting with the land. Simply put, this is CAMPING .... not glamping. (Our Cosmic Cottage is also rustic, despite the amenities that come with it). - CAMPSITES and TREEHOUSE - No electricity or wifi on the land. Campsites and TREEHOUSE are nestled in the woods. So although your vehicle will be parked within 50 ft or so from site, you cannot pull directly up to the site and get any closer because of the trees. - SHOWER and PORTA POTTY - roughly a 5 minute or less walk from sites to shower and / or porta potty. Shower hours are 8 am- to 8 pm. The shower has hot and cold running water . You can drive to the shower if you need to. - RESPONSE TIME - This is a working herb farm/ sanctuary and we so do not always have our phones on us. We will make every effort to respond to you within a few hours. Please be patient and you will receive a response. -BOOKING - If you are interested in booking and / or availability, go to the HIPCAMP BOOKING CALENDAR and enter the dates you are interested in. for the most up to date accurate info on availability. - Feel free to wander through the herb gardens, eat your meals in the garden pavilion (we have picnic tables there and hammocks), get your Zen on in the meditation hut , and stroll through the woodland medicine path where we grow endangered and at at risk plant plants. (heads up.. the woodland medicine path goes to seed by the Fall and is usually munched down by the deer by then, but is still a nice short stroll in the woods).

Secret DC promoted Lovettsville as the most “laid-back” town in America in an October 2025 article. Steven Bryant loves gardening and caring for plants and is currently laying the groundwork for a small native nursery. Rebecca Bryant is a licensed massage therapist and uses the dome as her session space when it’s not being rented out for overnight accommodations. Other features: • Easy access to parking. • Easy access to neighboring bike paths. • A 3-minute drive to restaurants, convenience stores, a grocery co-op, a community center, and more. • Surrounded by a plethora of small farms, wineries, distilleries, breweries, pubs, and equestrian riding trails. • Located 50 miles west of Washington, D.C., and just a 2-minute drive to the Potomac River and C&O Canal Towpath. Only 15 minutes from Harpers Ferry, WV, and close to biking, whitewater rafting, and tubing adventures. • The perfect getaway for those craving a peaceful, therapeutic break without sacrificing modern conveniences. Ideal for beginner campers, wine enthusiasts, and cyclists. • None of the rental sites have air conditioning, but the owners can supply a fan(s) by request when weather is very hot (above 85 degrees). None of the rental sites have built in heating, but a space heater(s) can be supplied by request when weather is very cold (below freezing).
