The camp is surrounded by farms and ranches, wineries offering music options (one is dog friendly!). Lake Conroe is 20 minutes to the east. Amenities include a cowboy pool, courtyard seating and camp fire pit, hot showers, bathrooms (currently port-a-potties), fiber wifi, and a potable water/filling station/wash station. I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Outpost 203, renting the Vintage Camper, and I can't recommend this experience enough! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming retro design of the camper, which offered a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The camper was well-equipped with all the essentials, making it easy to relax and truly enjoy our time in nature. Waking up surrounded by the sounds of the forest was a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The nearby hiking trails and beautiful scenery provided endless opportunities for exploration and adventure. In the evenings, we gathered around the campfire, sharing stories and roasting marshmallows, all while soaking in the stunning starlit sky. The sense of community at Outpost 203 was evident, with fellow campers sharing tips and experiences, adding to the overall charm of our stay. If you're looking for a weekend getaway that combines comfort with the beauty of the outdoors, I highly recommend Outpost 203 and their Vintage Camper. We booked for our memorial long weekend. The place is great and we had a good time. We booked a cabin for 8 members. The only downside is we only had one wall mount AC unit in the hall and only fans in the bedrooms.

This was the perfect place to get away from the well mannered frivolity at RenFest but still feel like we were enjoying the great outdoors disconnected from the digital world. The camp was clean and quiet. We never found the showers but only stayed a night. The Zen Den was just what we needed after a fun day of eating, drinking and being a tad too merry!

This spot was very secluded and private! We loved being able to park in a shady spot. The facilities were not far from our site and the bath house was one of the better outdoor showers we have used. We also loved the friendly cat!
