My husband and I fell in love with this property the moment that we turned "Right" after entering the access gate. There were cows and a very protective Bull. The owner took the cows away after the sale, but he left us with beautiful Mesquite and Spanish Oak and endless possibilities....We want to share this beauty with our guests. Because there are burr grass here and mesquite thorns, we built decks for some of our Glamping Tents. You have a choice of bringing your own gear and setting up on the ground or renting one of our Fully Dressed Glamping Tents that are situated on Decks. We enjoyed a wonderful evening under the stars! Tony was so easy to chat with and gave us all the information we needed! This spot is definitely primitive and isnt for everyone! We were welcomed by a free roaming cow and lots of armadillo! The sunset was absolutely gorgeous. We loved that we could hang up our hammock and start a campfire. Theres definitely things that could be done to be more accommodating but we liked the primitive aspects for sure.

Campsite is very secluded with an abundance of trees and open sky, ideal for stargazing! The complementary firewood is a huge plus and burned for hours into the night. There’s plenty of land for your pup or kiddos to explore. Cows approached within a few feet of us, such a pleasant surprise! The bike trail and river are only about 2 miles away and a great way to spend some of your day. Even with the rain, we enjoyed our stay, campsite is pup approved!

This is our second visit to site, and host is very friendly. They also provide wood for fire pit, at no extra cost. This place offers quiet, and secluded place for couples or a couple of friends. The campsite is surrounded by trees. I would also recommend bringing your own porta potty, which we do, if you didn't want to leave site. They have one there, but it's not private, or you could make it private by adding a pop up shower tent. This campsite is our favorite place that is not too far out, and gives you the primitive campsite, in a beautiful area, at a great price.

We absolutely loved our quick weekend getaway here! It was incredibly easy to access with our truck camper and offered a perfect blend of isolation while still being close to town. The property felt beautifully natural, featuring nice native cacti and trees. The fire pit and provided firewood were a huge bonus on the cool day, making for a cozy evening. We noted the presence of some grazing cows and a few hunting stands, which added to the rustic, natural feel. Highly recommend this spot for an easy, peaceful retreat close to amenities.

Such a wonderful peaceful place. Close enough in town that you can run and grab anything that you need but far enough away to feel like you're really alone. I really appreciated the self-check-in but great communication in case I needed anything. There's a ton of land but I really also love that I was the only one camping. The cows are so friendly and it was such a pleasant surprise to have them greet me throughout my visit. I'll definitely be back!

I had a great experience on my camping trip. I was welcome on site with fire wood and a wonderful story about the lands history. They have two cows on the land that were so friendly. Where I chose to put my tent, unfortunately, had quite a few ants. But other than that, I would recommend this site to anyone.
