This is our family farm, though you probably will not see us much. The campsite is located on a corner of the property on Cummins Creek and once you get there you will feel secluded in nature. Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. I hope that you too can understand why we always walk alway feeling like this is a very special spot! Great and secluded little spot on the river. There are more tent/rv sites nearby, but i had the whole area to myself. Bathroom was clean, well lit and close by. Camper covered the basics and ac/heater unit kept us comfortable.

So a friend of mine recommended this spot and the family liked the idea of camping Christmas weekend so that's what we did. Booked the cute little camper and pitched a tent outside. It worked out perfect for a family of 4 adults & 2 littles. The camper is so adorable and was very comfortable. They've got a mini fridge, coffee pot w/ coffee provided and even had a TV! Guys were able to watch the football game on a big screen! Oh and did I mention it's air conditioned! Huge fire pit and the outhouse was pretty cool. 2 showers and toilet and just across from the camper which was very nice. Towels and shampoo were provided even. They had canoes to use at your discretion. A swing for small ones. Very much a nice & cozy spot and would definitely camp there again!

Terry's Spot is the perfect campground. Me and my company couldn't have enjoyed our time more. Everything was nice and clean. Bridget is the perfect hostess. Gave us a little tour of the land and showing us the hot tub shack. I highly recommend booking with Bridget for your next camping trip. We will be returning for another visit.

Weekend Trip to The Reserve at GreenLeaf
We had such a wonderful time. Our hosts greeted us for a short intro to the place which was nice. I got some pointers on how to use a French Coffee press (you'll see) and we got the lay of the land. There are walking trails, a community fire pit (there are only 4 yurts), a pavilion with Corn Hole type games and a hot tub (didn't try it out). It was extremely peaceful and calm. A great place to forget about things for a couple of days. Also, Bastrop has a nice downtown area. We ate at Neighbors (?) downtown and enjoyed sitting on the patio by the river.

We had the most fantastic weekend staying on Bridget’s land. The super cute camper was the perfect size for me and my 2 daughters. There were kayaks available and a boat that we were able to use on the river. The scenery was amazing and so relaxing- literally right on the river. The bathroom was the best I have ever used on a camping trip. There is a flush toilet and 2 showers with plenty of hot water! Bridget was so kind and communicative about the property and with questions I had. I will definitely be back. It is so worth it- you won’t regret staying here!!

Terry’s Spot was underrated. Comfy queen size bed with working mini fridge/freezer, AC, toaster, coffee maker, TV with Netflix and other apps, wifi (although occasional off), cleaning products, with a working nice shower/toilet with hot water, plus you can fish, kayak/canoe, make fire, and animals all over the place for some friendly neighbors. All you can ask for glamping/camping and more!

2 nights at Colorado RiverBend Retreat #CRBR
We stayed in a mini trailer near the lake and had a great time overall. The lake view was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a weekend getaway. We loved that we could fish, though we wish the fishing had been a bit better. One downside was that the stove didn’t come with gas—we had to make a last-minute trip to Walmart 20 minutes away at 8PM. Despite that, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!

Loved the privacy of the RV area and the woods were beautiful. Older trailer with a lot of love put into it, the window unit was a trouper and it was pretty comfortable once it got going. The area surrounding was very comfortable to walk around, the paths were very state-park-esque, and it was a really nice surprise to find a seating area in the woods. It was a bit of a bummer that it took all night for the fridge to get cold enough to cool our drinks, and that the lake was right in front of the house. Overall, it was a great stay and would love to stay again!

This is the perfect country retreat along the Colorado River! We stayed in the fancy river shack and the accommodations were absolutely amazing. The 1st night I used the outdoor grill which was perfect along with a fire pit evening. The host delivered two bundles of firewood immediately upon request at $10 a bundle. The second night was too windy for a fire but it was still great. The River Shack is just a short walk down to the river bank and there are two tent and camping sites close to the shore with their own amenities. All sites are peacefully and perfectly placed to provide a woodsy country private and tranquil get away feel. The River Shack itself is so attractive and the kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom are perfect and modern, and can be compartmentalized with sliding doors. Three flat-screen TVs across the jacuzzi room, living room, and bedroom were great, along with a desk area for your laptop with wifi. Last and of course, the jacuzzi room lets you know you are "Glamping" in ultimate style and country grace! I literally watched the morning news with coffee in the jacuzzi! Why not! With nature watching I saw 10 deer total throughout my stay and a Cow! My Lady and family will return one day and get some fishing done!

This is a great location for fishing, rafting/boating, or just relaxing by the river. The other sites are spread out enough that even when it was full the weekend we were there, you still feel a sense of privacy. The bath house is an extra benefit with two showers and a clean/well kept toilet, with sinks for washing up.
Bridget goes the extra mile to ensure the guests are taken care of.
When the guests at the b&b shack up the hill were blasting music after night fall, Bridget responded quickly to our request for them to turn down the volume. Very much appreciated that!

Bridget and her husband are great hosts. The camp is as described. Quiet and secluded. We stayed at lot 1, by the river. The river had a bunch of moss/algae so it was difficult to fish near shore with casting with lures, so need to toss far with bait, which I didn’t have any. Bridget was always attentive and was always willing to help with any needs. We had a great time!
