Finders keepers. There are some really old giant trees on the property. One is probably the largest tree I have ever seen in Collin County. There is a seasonal creek that runs through the back and sort of a swappy pond in the front. The Prairie in the front is some sort of different grass than usual. It might be native buffalo grass or something else weird like that. The property needs a lot of cleanup, so I would make a good to work campers or groups wanting a working party. The land could use some work, I could contribute a lot of free beer and food to people cleaning up the place before I build my house.

The boondocking sites are spaced far apart. There is a gate and Eddie keeps an eye on the property, so it feels very safe. It's only minutes to get to Mansfields downtown area. Rod was responsive with communication. I'm planning to stay here again. FYI - they have sites with electricity and really good shade. I just chose to boondock.

Gary’s place was just right for our overnight stays. Super easy 20-minute drive to visit our kids and grandkids in Fort Worth. I have a Ford Transit camper van, so I just needed a place to crash on the weekend away from the city. I really like that even though it feels I am away from the city there are stores and restaurants 10 minutes drive from the farm. I also appreciated they had a nice warm shower and a bathroom right by the area I parked. The fire pit is shareable, but it seems like no one cared for it, so I had it all for me 😅
