We had a wonderful stay at Friends in RV Spaces, definitelyexcellent value for money. Even though we were travelling in a campervan without hookups, the site had everything we needed. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the WiFi near the little red building was fast and reliable. After spending time in the big cities of Texas, it was such a refreshing change to relax in a peaceful, green space with dark night skies and true country quiet.
Sam greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming. He showed us around the farm and was interesting to chat with. If you’re looking for a safe, quiet, and friendly place to stay near Fort Worth, we’d highly recommend it.

West Shore
Parks, campgrounds, and recreation areas dot the west coast of Lewisville Lake, drawing large crowds on summer weekends. If boat parties sound like your idea of fun, head down to Party Cove by Westlake Park on a Friday or Saturday evening. Alternatively, escape the crowds at the rustic campsites of Sycamore Bend or practice your swing at one of the inland golf courses.
East Shore
If you prefer lake views and brisk hikes to partying and picnicking, head over to the east shore. Hidden Cove Park and Wynnward Park have wildlife-filled wetlands and scenic nature trails, among them the popular Tribute Shoreline Nature Trail, or you can play golf along the Stewart Peninsula.
