I really enjoyed my time at the p2 farm. First off, the beautiful horses, the open land, the sweet puppies, the male and female sheep hip to hip couple, the 400 year old Mother Tree, the open starry sky, the river, to Makayla’s wonderful hospitality was everything I was hoping for when I booked. The bus was a plus since I did not have to do much camp set up and had my own space and refrigerator! It was nicely remodeled and very cozy even for 2 people and 3 mid sized dogs! Our dogs got to roam freely. I also got to view the campsites near the Mother Tree and the river bank which were very nice. There’s a large communal area for cooking and gathering. I highly recommend this place if you really want the farm life while roughing it as true camper! I got the luxury of having 80 degree weather during the day and 60 degree weather at night. Perfect for a fire. And this was in December! They also offer horse trail rides which I plan to do next time!

We had a great time staying at Daniel's glamping site, about 15 miles from the entry to Colorado bend State park. The campsite and tent were clean and tidy and secluded in a cedar grove, with solar lights and a fire pit (wood included) and grill for cooking. There was a couple hundred yards walk to a full bathroom with a shower and wifi. An extra tent with cots and bedding was also available for the kids, and was setup prior to arrival. Overall a wonderful time, perfect for a short weekend at the park, and would absolutely stay again. Thanks Danny!

We had a great time! We are camping newbies and wanted to try it out without committing to buying a lot of gear if our kids weren't going to be okay with it. The site had everything we needed, even air conditioning and outlets - which was a nice bonus as it was still pretty warm during the days. My kids had a blast exploring the trails on the property and visiting the cows and donkey. We brought our golden retriever and he thoroughly enjoyed his time. We really appreciated the beds and set up, we were able to squeeze a pack and play and dog bed into the main tent with us (in addition to the provided bed and twin cot for our oldest). Daniel was quick to help us out when we needed it and made sure we had enough fire wood to last the weekend. The stars at night were well worth the trip, it was one of the things we were really looking forward to.

Awesome! Place to view the Stars and the bridge is great for sunsets and sunrises enjoyed my time there and the host was very responsive.
I will be back for the next black moon for some more stargazing!

Weekend Trip to Lampasas Camping and Glamping
Cedar Glen Glampsite was so neat. There is an air conditioning and outlets, as well as a walk right outside to a camp eco friendly private luxury potty! The hundred acres are amazing and we got to meet Mo, the donkey, as well as the miniature cows. They reminded me of our chow chow puppy! Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well. Plenty of room! The tent itself is very very spacious with the most comfortable bed. It is climate controlled and just as nice as a hotel room, but you can hear the owls at night...Danny is a very kind host. We unfortunately didn’t get to see the stars due to the weather, but we will try to be back.

Had a great first-time camping trip for my birthday. Everything was set up for us, which was convenient. The wet wood made it hard to start a fire, but we eventually got it going and enjoyed the fire! Overall, a memorable experience nd will come back in the fall

This was such a peaceful spot to just relax and unwind. I got to dive into a good book, take a stroll with my dog, go watch the sunset and sunrise on the suspension bridge, and do a little grilling and marshmallow roasting. Gorgeous spot.
Dogs aren’t allowed into the camper, so that was the only downfall- as I wasn’t aware of that until I got to the location and it was on a sign inside the camper. I have a Saint Bernard- so thankfully I put her in my jeep and kept the AC going- definitely advertise that for sure! Everything else was breathtaking, and it was so quiet.
Bathrooms are directly beside the camper and close to all the other campsites- full shower with hot water, towels, soap, even a baby changing station if you need!

The host is truly amazing, he met us at the campsite and brought us more firewood an told us about things we could do while there. This camp site by far surpassed all of my expectations and it truly made my birthday one of the best I've had.

The area was beautiful and the tent bed and cots were so comfy! Everything was so thought out, the hang out area with fire pit, grill and cooking utensils. Daniel was very welcoming and we were able to walk around the property to meet the cows and donkey- adorable!

Weekend Trip to Lampasas Camping and Glamping
We were seriously blown away by this diamond in the rough! So lucky to have found this place! I messaged Daniel with a question and he answered very quickly. We decided to book last minute for the same day, and Daniel was extremely accommodating, to the point of greeting us in person much later than we had anticipated due to a delay traveling.
The site is super accessible and a short distance from the road, but completely private. There were sturdy Adirondack chairs, as well as a large picnic table with benches. We did not try out the fire pit, bc we wanted to stargaze. And the sky out there is pristine. It was wonderful. If you are a dark sky nerd, this site is legitimately capable of Bortle 2 and 3 levels of darkness. Check the light pollution maps if you need to, but that is part of why we booked and we were not disappointed.
A large thunderstorm system came through overnight, and the canvas yurt/tent held up just fine and we stayed dry. It is very securely anchored to a solid platform of concrete, cinder blocks, and thick wooden beams, keeping the structure elevated off the ground and well above any accumulation of rainwater and we felt very safe.
Could not recommend more highly! We hope to be back soon! Go visit, check it out, you will not be disappointed!

This was the perfect campsite for our family and friends! Danny was an amazing host. Not only was the glamping tent all set up with plenty of blankets, a heater and everything else we needed, but an additional large tent as well as a small tent were all set up for us when we arrived too! This made the trip so much easier for our families. We also enjoyed stargazing and feeding the cows and donkey. Highly recommend :)

The glamping experience at Daniel's land was just perfect! Everything was provided for a comfy stay, including extra fuzzy blankets, string lights hanging from the trees, plenty of firewood, and cooking supplies. I was pleasantly surprised that the tent had indoor-outdoor carpet and a propane space heater. My daughter and I LOVED it!

What's Great little get-away! The pictures do not do it justice . It has everything you could think of needing while camping. Seriously. Plus secluded in your own little cove. My trip was short, but I do intend to come back for a longer stay to take advantage of the trails (you can also bike them).
Miniature cow 🐄 and donkey 🫏 as well! I definitely plan to meet them next time. The owner was super friend and showed around the property upon arrival. ♥️♥️♥️

We loved glamping here! The tent was spacious the hammock was perfect to relax in and the space came with cooking and eating utensils. It was so nice to not have to put up a tent after a long drive or a long day hiking at Colorado bend. We also got to feed mo the donkey and the cows and the two calves! We brought our golden and Danny brought about his goldens and that was such a wonderful experience!! Then we got to explore some of the land! Wonderful stay. You can hear the animals at night so be sure to bring ear plugs if you’re looking for a lot of relaxation! I felt safe the whole time and it was such a great experience, definitely recommend. Thanks so much!!
