1 night at Barefoot Gee's

Quiet, woodsy, safe and serene! Andy, the owner’s German Shepherd, camped with me and is just the sweetest dog! Linda is a great host and helped resolve my battery pack issues by running power all the way down to my site so everything had power and full charge is restored to my battery pack and me! She has a beautiful spot with a fire pit all set up, plenty of chairs, 2 grills and an eating table and another small folding table too. The outhouse is charming! Great place-I’ll be back if I’m ever this way. Thanks Linda!

We enjoyed the peaceful and quietness of the pond site. the vast property is a great place to walk and explore. We foraged for wild Blackberry's for a tasty cobbler. The horses on the property are friendly and a very nice addition. Our miniature schnauzer and we enjoyed getting acquainted with the horses and they followed us around while we foraged and explored the property. We will be back!

I appreciated the peaceful stop conveniently off of the interstate. I was concerned about being a lone, female traveler but Anthony made me feel welcome, safe, and seemed to really care for the campsites and guests, checking on everyone and tending to the site. There was a small creek near the campsite where I could sit and journal on some fallen trees- it was nice having access to explore their property a little bit. The grounds were well kept and the tent camping vibes were cute with the bulb lights. I would recommend this for group trips, for sure, but it’s also good for solo or couple camping if you like to be friendly with neighbors. The toilet was clean and I liked that there was potable water. I would have appreciated a fire ring for each individual tent site, otherwise there is a group fire fit (unless I missed one). Other than that- I would 100% come back:))))

Every time I come through, the coyote campground is my hip camp of choice. The town is bustling only 6 miles away, the campsites are spacious, and there's even a dog park being fenced in for camping pups! The free roaming mini goats are the best 😀

Very hospitable hosts. Clean sites, well maintained. A couple of upgrades would be welcomed. Possibly a different latch on the outhouse. The lock would occasionally get stuck while inside. And also maybe a solar powered light. Solar panel on the roof and light on the ceiling that’s motion activated. Gaming shed was cool. Maybe add a basketball hoop. Next time will check out one of the vacation rentals. They looked really nice.

Kelly’s land was absolutely wonderful for a weekend of tent camping. The Sterling pond campsite was so spacious and serene. The fields of flowers were beautiful to walk around in and the forest hikes were so peaceful. We definitely felt like we were alone in the wilderness and it was so perfect. I would highly recommend!

My family and I would absolutely recommend this place! The host was over-the-top accommodating and offered tons of activities for the kids. The campsites were well laid out with lots of trees, there was so much space for the kids to safely explore and for the dogs to roam. We did pay for the electricity option, and the ropes course for the kids. The outhouse was very clean.

The day before we left, my girlfriend and I wanted to extend the stay by a day, but the app wasn’t working with us. Anthony (who had just restocked the firewood while we were gone. We didn’t need to ask, we just came back from a drive and it was restocked) came down to meet us. I sent him the money for the extra night on Zelle and we called it even. Nice people, nice campsite, will likely be back

Besides being surrounded by beautiful scenery, it just feels good being here. Getting out and exploring is a wonderful escape from the everyday grind. We love hosting campers and work toward making sure folks feel welcome and comfortable. We were living in the north Dallas area but always had a desire to buy some land and have a little more 'elbow room'. We were avid RVers for many years, but when that chapter closed, we missed 'glamping'. When we found our property, we knew we wanted to share this beauty, nature, and space with others as a campground. Heavenly Haven & Hideaways has been a God-inspired project, born out of our love for people, adventure, and the outdoors. Our beautiful property has RV and tent camping and we also have 2 cabins for short and mid-term rental. We've set up a large communal firepit and fun outdoor games like tether ball, a volleyball net, horseshoes, and more. There's an open field for frisbee or tossing a ball around. We've cut in some trails that you can hike and explore our 60-acre property that includes an always-running creek. We're within a few miles of Tyler State Park which is great for bike riding & swimming in their lake. You can also rent paddle boats there. We're within a few miles of the Tyler Zoo -which is a surprisingly excellent zoo. There are several museums, shopping areas, and great food establishments in and around Tyler. Nearby Lindale also has the Pink Pistol, a Miranda Lambert store, and other neat places. We partner with Camp Right USA for a new level of tent camping. I4 acres with spring-fed creek, just a few minutes from Lindale restaurants and supplies. For more info about the tiny house or yurt rentals, please inquire. It has extended acreage with multiple ecosystems. I just found a spring and will be doing livestock. There is yurt and tiny house for rent. There is an RV plug, electricity (extra fee), and a water hose. The site is close to downtown Lindale (5 minutes) restaurants and shopping. 15 minutes from tyler. It is country living but still close to city action. The lower parts of the property require 4-wheel drive, but the top has water and electricity, so any car is fine. As this is an outdoor area, there are bugs and critters. I have never had a problem, but this is notice that you agree to assume all liability and responsibility for your party by camping at this property. NEW: Starlink Satellite Internet! Unleased Pets are added fee. If they are in a structure other than your own, they must be in a crate, or we have a fenced dog park area.
