Sherwood was a very accommodating and communicative host. The grounds were very clean and just as described. The water park was inactive due to the off season, and staying here made us want to come back when the park is fully operational.
Great location only about 16 min to the Stockyards. Would definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Arison's Farm Stay
My friends and I loved our little getaway in the airstream. Their family was so welcoming! The animals were all nice and fun to be around. The actually camper was so cute and perfect for what we were looking for. The town itself was also such a sweet place. I highly recommend!!

I wasn't sure what to expect but was really happy. We got to the waterpark/campground around 5pm on a friday so the place wasn't too packed and they didn't charge us to use the pool that day. The staff, esspecially Sherwood who has big plans for the poace, were all super friendly, helpful and told us to pretty much camp anywhere that you could park. We had the whole place to ourselves that night and my boys and friends got to run around playing tag in the dark which they loved. The next morning we were able to pick out the best spots on the lake for the day and had a blast. Just know that apparently during the off season they let you make a campfire but during the pool season they don't. We were there the first week of season and they made an exception so if campfires are important, you might want to double check with them before hand. Other than that, I'd absolutely recomend camping here.

I was there the day before they officially opened and there was only a high school graduating class there. Got to spend the afternoon enjoying this beautiful, spring fed lake, complete with slides, fountains, diving boards (of all heights), and snack bar (they make an awesome cheeseburger!). Once they cleared out, I had the place to myself. Owners were very accommodating. Even though they don’t really offer space with power, they found me a plug to charge my Jackery. They also offered tips on what not to miss at the Stockyards. The camping area is grassy, level and very shady with tons of large pecan trees that were planted by original owners. The facility was very clean, hosts were friendly and it is truly a magical place to stay! It’s only about 15 minutes from the Stockyards, so very convenient if you’re planning to visit there. I was just passing through, but would definitely love to come back sometime! I am a single female, traveling alone and felt extremely safe. Don’t forget to hit the artisan well to fill up your water jugs on the way out!

This RV site location has beautiful scenery and is very peaceful. Located just 3 miles from town for easy access to dining and other necessities, but just far enough out to feel completely free of the world. I highly recommend this place for anyone staying in the Graham area!

We loved camping on Sherwood’s land at Burgers Lake! We wanted something affordable near Dallas/Fort Worth, and this popped up. It felt like an abandoned waterpark all to ourselves- but it will be open soon- which would be even more fun! Plenty of wide open space and privacy. All the amenities are easily accessible. It’s definitely worth staying and we’ll be back if we’re in the area!

I had a great experience at Burgers lake! It’s a super great location in Fort Worth, while “feeling” away from the hustle and bustle in a serene environment. The camping areas are covered in grass, so there isn’t dirt and mud. A excellent spot to clean out your RV/van. There are big trees, a basketball hoop, and swings. And, charcoal grills at your camp site. There is a small waterpark the grounds are near, that is closed until end of May. The host is super nice and chill! And, my spot was super private with no one around. A truly peaceful place!

Great place for a quick stop or maybe a longer stay. Less than a mile off the highway. All the essentials for an RV park; sites with post lights, propane, rv parts, full hook-ups, garbage disposal. There was a pool that looked to be well maintained for the summer months. So easy to find, nothing fancy. Helpful & responsive host

Super cool and unique. It is a well maintained, old school water park built on a small lake. Water park was closed for the off season but it was still an awesome to camp 15 minutes from Fortworth Stockyards. Helpful & generous hosts.

This place is so cool. Hidden gem. It is a well maintained old school water park built on a lake. I visiting during the off season when the park was closed and lake drained. But it was still such a unique place super close to Fort Worth Stockyards. My stay was an excellent experience with helpful and respectful hosts. I will definitely be back.
