Village creek is known for its beautiful white sandbars and use to be home to a tribe of Indians in the early 1800's as groups of Indian tribes settled along the gulf coast. This park was originally built as a mobile home park in the late 1960's and renovated to accommodate RV's in the 1980's. After Hurricane Harvey destroyed the area in August of 2017 the property and completely re-vamped it in order to truly appreciate all it has to offer. Weekend Trip to Lagoon Ranch Luxury RV and Cabin

It’s a very nice new place with a great pool and lake views. It’s a very big park and we were there in a Class C on a slow weekend. It had a very nice kids playground and a venue for a live band or performance that was near the pool. We had an afternoon snack at the Restaurant that was good. It’s very much a bar type food restaurant. The water and ice tea had an odd taste like the water softener put too much salt in it. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. There was a pool swim up bar that was staffed from the inside restaurant bar, but it was a light weekend as the park and pool were not very busy. The RV sites were long and plenty wide. I was in a section with only 3 RV’s near by and the pedestal voltage was only 111 volts on the 30a circuit. While sufficient for my stay could be a problem if they were very full in the heat of summer. The Dumpster was in the far corner of the park which is large. They could probably use a bit more lighting through out. I had to use a flash light to get to the dumpster at night. We will definitely be back. Next time in our Class A to test out the 50a service. It might be interesting to see if the pool or restaurant can handle the capacity if the park was full. There are a lot of sites

There were a few minor hiccups due to the age (2 mos.) of the establishment. The amenities were clean and organized. Unfortunately, the arcade was not up and running yet, but I'm sure will be nice as well. The pool and swim up bar were a great way to beat the heat and the on-site restaurant was really good!

1 night at Happy Hippo Hilltop

Great place to stay. Myself, my two daughters (and pup) really enjoyed this quite peaceful campsite. Property owners happened to be camping on the 2nd site and where very helpful and informative. Will stay here again!

1 night at Dot's Mobile Ranch

It was a little muddy from the weather but all was good. Quiet, easy to find, good power and steady internet signal. Quick to reply to questions too! That is much appreciated. We walked our 2 dogs around thru the neighborhood and the people Waves and were friendly. Quick and easy. We love that. Thanks! We will be back!

Weekend Trip to Dot's Mobile Ranch

Dot was super helpful! We needed a place to just pull off the road after a long day and this spot was perfect, easy to find, directions were spot on. Would definitely recommend staying at Dot’s Spot!
