I have owed this property for over 20 years.
In the past, before I listed this property for camping, travelers would stop and ask to camp on my land.
There are not many options for camping on this stretch of Hwy so I decided to offer up my place.
So far guest have either loved it or hated it.

We needed a quick spot last minute and this was perfect! Very quiet. Remote, but also not far from i10. Full hookup, so we could charge overnight. Easy to find if you follow the given instructions. AND we could see the Milky Way! Very little light pollution! Stopped at night, camped, and left before it was light, so I don't know how the place is in the light. But at night it was great.

The booking process for the campsite was fast and easy. We needed a place to rest before continuing our trip to San Antonio, and James made everything simple with great communication. He provided all the information we needed before we arrived.
The location was peaceful, with a quiet neighborhood and excellent stargazing at night. The bathrooms were easy to find when needed, and they were very clean.
We also drove about 20 minutes to the town of Iraan to grab some pizza, which was a nice bonus. Overall, this was a great stop, and would recommend this site.

Nice Quiet spot. Love visiting small towns. Be aware that if you are towing a car you will have to disconnect to turn around in the allotted space. My class A is only 29' and I had to disconnect the car to turn around.

Perfect place for an overnight stay where there aren't other options in an RV. The road names can throw you so watch directions & map. The site description was accurate so we knew what to expect & were satisfied with out stay & all communication.

This is a very nice and safe place to stay. Nothing to do in town but if you are on the road and need a place to stop and rest this is a safe comfortable place to be. Very quiet with no light noise just you and the stars. This is our second time staying here and our go to on the road as we cross the country. We highly recommend it.

The site was as described. Easy to get to and easy to see, once you arrive, where to pop your tent and park. The ground was very comfortable, very soft. Quiet at night. Very glad James has this option when I stop through.

Great overnight in a peaceful spot. Ten minutes from I-10 so no noise. I used the boondocking spot near a few trees as the hookup spot was booked.

It’s easy to find the location, pull through to hook up with electricity and water, but no sewer. I feel safe as there are some other properties are next by and a quiet place.

It is basically a dirt field with a rustic fire pit and 30/50 amps plus hoses for water. The price was right and the area is very remote so we were thrilled to find Sheffield Camp. The sky was lit with a full moon with no light pollution. We felt very safe and the sheriff drove by a few times. We didn’t see another soul and no other traffic. Thank you!

i went camping with my 30 amp rv for two nights and it was amazing to stay at a campground with not many nearby. not much to do nearby but it’s still a great place truly . we met a couple friends of the guy who owns it and they were so nice!! i totally recommend if you are trying to get away from normal crowded campgrounds and just want a quiet getaway!

Nice level, quiet spot to stop for the night. No frills but comfortable if you’re self contained and don’t need to use your generator.

We had a very peaceful stay on our way between Big Bend and Canyon Lake. Very easy to level our fifth wheel with water and electricity available if you’re not set up for boondocking. Also very easy to get to and from the interstate
