I obviously take advantage of living in the country and enjoying the peace and quiet of everyday living that it provides! So many people enjoy coming out here and just unplugging and unwinding. I know my property won't disappoint if you decide to stay in the fully equipped cabin. We loved the remote beauty of our well equipped cabin, the endless hiking trails, and exploration opportunities and also the proximity to Jacksonville when we needed supplies. Our hosts were incredible! Or cabin was comfy and had ensuring we needed. Loved the amazing fire pit and shower! We can’t wait to return!

Just what we needed for a weekend getaway in the woods. Love the area of east Texas and the acreage is awesome to explore on utv or walking. We explored quite a bit and walked the creek a long ways south with the pups. The falls were pretty and relaxing to sit and listen to. Susan and Mark were responsive and provided everything you could think of. I hope we come back one day! Beds were comfy too!

Weekend Trip to Dee Dee's B&B
We loved our stay here! It was secluded and beautiful. The food was delicious and the hosts were so kind. We found easy-to-follow instructions upon arriving, and were able to utilize everything on the property! We cooked every meal over the campfire or propane stove outside. It was so relaxing and cozy. And clean too! Would highly recommend. (PS, if you're driving from the Dallas area, I suggest stopping by Tyler state Park to do some hiking and kayaking!)

Our experience at Donna's cabin was lovely. After a long day on the road, we were greeted by a friendly farm kitten, some comical goats, and a beautifully decorated cabin. Donna was kind and welcoming, quick to answer questions when we had them but respectful of our space. We spent our time riding around the beautiful property on the golf cart, picniking by the lake, exploring the piney woods, and enjoying coffee and s'mores to the sound of bullfrogs and the occasional hoot of an owl. Thank you Donna for a lovely experience (and delicious breakfast casserole).
