While you enjoy your farm stay, watch the chickens and the goats forage on our eight-acre property just five minutes from Granbury’s historic square, and two miles from the closest boat ramp. Soak in the water trough right off the porch, or lounge by the fire pit. Use our farm as home base while you explore the local wineries, breweries, restaurants, antique and junk shops and so much more that Granbury has to offer. We even offer WiFi and a smart TV. Access to the Airstream will be in a field where we keep our goats, chickens, turkeys, and two LARGE, but FRIENDLY livestock guardian dogs. Feel welcome to explore our front field, located between our driveway/parking area and the road. We tend to leave grass here high at some times of the year for the wild flowers, but there are paths mowed around and through it. This is where our big green houses (high tunnels) are. The huge tree in the middle is an old native pecan.

My friends and I loved our little getaway in the airstream. Their family was so welcoming! The animals were all nice and fun to be around. The actually camper was so cute and perfect for what we were looking for. The town itself was also such a sweet place. I highly recommend!!

Weekend Trip to DJ Roundtree Ranch

I only stayed one night, but it was such a peaceful and relaxing experience! The owners are onsite, friendly, very helpful and responsive to any questions I had before and during my stay. The location was easy to find in the daylight (I arrived mid afternoon), and everything was just as described. GPS gets you to the right spot but note it will be very dark at night as there are no street lamps which makes for amazing night sky/star gazing. I had my Great Dane with me and the other dogs onsite came to meet him and they all got along well. I stayed in the smaller camper, and it was cozy, clean, and comfortable—the bed was great, and I slept really well. The A/C worked perfectly, which was a lifesaver in the Texas heat. There’s a small deck with an awning for shade, and a shared grill if you want to cook outside. I brought most of my own supplies, so I didn’t use the kitchen gear, but everything you’d need seemed to be there. Fridge and freezer worked well. The camper is located close to the horse barn, which was a bonus—I enjoyed walking around and even got to meet the horses. There are also shared bathroom facilities in the barn if you prefer a regular shower over the RV setup. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, especially if you love animals and want a quiet, rural escape. It’s a good location to explore Mineral Welsl, Granbury and Weatherford areas. I’d definitely stay again!

What a lovely space to escape from the world! Great hosts, great kids and great space. Very clean. Had everything we needed and more. Jim was entertaining, the dogs are sweeties, and all the goats! Terrific stay
