The cheapest sites in the park are here, cheap because they are simply a flat area of cleared land with a grill and picnic table (which is more than you need anyway, right, you roughneck you)

Creekside Brazos Rock Camp & Kayak

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. A cozy, private, 4+ acre camp, half a mile down a gravel/dirt road, set up on a creek across from the river. Off the beaten path, but just about 10 miles off I20. Gated entry with camera, bathhouse- all with private access to creek and river. RV spots also available with full hook ups, fire pit and picnic tables. Also 1 fully furnished camper for rent and tent spots. We are almost never full and have plenty of space.  Kayak rental and tube/shuttle available for additional fee. You could even rent the whole campground! $10 pet fee (per pet per night), must be added as an Extra and under 20lbs. All guests must sign online liability waiver before arrival.

All 4 spots have full hook-ups, table, firepit, and patio, with access to bathhouse, creek, and river!

*On music night weekends we may book 2 to a spot, each camper will have at least a 20x20 space. 

Jim Ned River Front Getaway

Welcome to our slice of paradise in Thrifty, Texas, where adventure awaits along the tranquil shores of the Jim Ned River. Nestled on 2 acres of pristine riverfront property, our spacious RV sites offer the perfect retreat for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. RV sites have 20/30/50 amp electric hookups.

Cast your line into the sparkling waters for some of the best fishing around, or embark on a leisurely kayak or paddleboard adventure along the meandering river. Just a short 20-minute paddle away lies Lake Brownwood, beckoning with its scenic beauty and endless recreational opportunities.

After a day of exploration, return to your RV site and relax amidst the beauty of nature. Fire up the grill for a cookout, gather around the campfire under the starry sky, and savor the peace and serenity of riverside living.

With full hookups and ample space for fishing, cooking out, and enjoying the great outdoors, our property is the perfect destination for your next getaway in Brown County.  

Riverside at BRCK

Also 1 fully furnished camper for rent, and additional RV/tents spots, across the street at Creekside. We are almost never full and have plenty of space. Kayak rental and tube/shuttle available for additional fee. You could even rent the whole campground! Brazos Rock Camp Kayak web-site has more info. *electric access at the pole on the back left of the property, and water/dump station access and Bathhouse are across the field at Creekside. Little Off Lake House

Enjoy a country getaway on private 8 acre lake on 45 acres. A perfect escape from the city with gorgeous sunset views, Texas wildlife and a relaxing comfortable lake house with many amenities.  Lake is full of Blue gill, bass, crappie, catfish. Since it's private lake there is no need for fishing license.  Guest are welcome to explore most of acreage, pet donkeys, watch wildlife.  We have fishing poles, Jon boats, motorized barge available for rent.  There is fire pit, gas grill (please don’t put charcoal in it) , diving board (when lake is full, ask or check if ok to use).  No food is provided you must bring your own, don't forget your coffee, there is a coffee pot but not coffee. No toiletries are provided. Site is 10 minutes from Stephenville,  3 miles from County Store in Huckabay. Linens, towels provided. Board games are available if requested, Wii, ping-pong table, outdoor games, trampoline on site. Land owners located across lake and may be on lake or available as needed. GPS should get you here. You will go past Little Off Ranch house, follow road to lake house. Keys will be left out on porch on arrival day. Wi-Fi is now available but no cable television.  TV is available to use for Wii or DVD/VHS. Large collection of movies available. Pets are welcome as long as they don’t damage home, chase cows, kill chickens or are dangerous to others. There is an extra fee for pets. If children are in, on or near water they should have life jackets on. Use best judgment, safety measures and laws required in TX.  NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS. Fishing Guidelines per visit:

Bass 10”-14” keep, limit 10, Crappie limit 10, Catfish are catch and release for now, Bluegill (I call them perch) limit 10.

No fishing licenses required.

Lake Cisco Campground

Located at an old WPA resort that had the World's largest Concrete Swimming Pool and old Zoo made in caves. There are 2 RV sites and multiple tent camping sites. There is a lot of history associated with the area. Elvis and Bob Wills stayed there when the rock cabins were called Lake Cisco Courts in the 1950s.

Site 3 is located To the east of the store on the public beach side. There is wifi, electricity and water as well as lakefront, beach and dock access!

Camping at Lake Cisco Rentals

Enjoy lakeside camping at its finest! At all our sites there are water connections, sites vary from 50/30/20amp electricity and all include wifi. We offer the top amenities and purchasable convenience at our Lakeside store right beside the RV spots including: bait, tackle, beverages, souvenirs and snacks. We Rent kayaks, Peddle boats, Canoes, other self-propelled boats, as well as jet-skis and a pontoon boat if you wish to go explore around the lake to get a magnificent inclusive experience of Lake Cisco. If you like to access the rustic outdoors and would like to catch your own dinner we also rent fishing poles and sell fishing licenses as well as other lake accessories. You'll enjoy fishing for Large mouth Bass, Big Catfish, and many other species including crappie, sand bass and perch. Swimming and spectacular sunsets on our large dock or with sand in your toes on our private beach! Cisco is famously know for having the First Hilton Hotel established in 1920, The Worlds Largest Swimming Pool(out of commission) and the Santa Clause Bank robbery. Some of its featured attractions are its Museums full of western history, Antique stores, gift shops, Shopping Boutiques, Downtown festivities, nightlife downtown at RedGap Brewery where they sell freshly brewed beer and Muddy Mikes for food beverages and entertainment. Cisco is home of the Cisco Pie fest. Take a walk downtown to marvel at all the fully restored 1920's buildings. We are 4.5 miles North of Downtown Cisco. There is hiking nearby at The Old Zoo Trails. Hillbilly Throwdown Floatfest

May 31st at the beautiful Star of the River in Santo TX. All day from Noon to Midnight the 5th annual Hillbilly Throwdown Floatfest. Vendors, Food Trucks and Merchants with live bands all day and night. Tickets for entry are $15 and camping is an extra $5. 

The River Bottom

Hello! We are so excited that you are interested in staying at The River Bottom. 

This property is primitive with 132 acres of prairie land, trees, a pond, a river, creeks, and wildlife. 
We can accommodate RVs, camper vans, tents, or people who want to park and hike to a primitive camp spot. 

Campsites are to the left of the entrance near the road; however, there is very little traffic as there are few neighbors.  We offer fire pits at each campsite with some included firewood. 

There is minimal light pollution, and stargazing is a must! Keep an eye out for petrified wood and arrowheads. If you're quiet enough, you might see some deer or other incredible wildlife.

2.3 acres easily accessible off the hwy between Comanche and Gustine, Texas. Great sunrises, and sunsets, plus you can always see a few planets in the beautiful clear sky! Only six mins from Comanche square with fun shopping, dining and brewery. Close to Proctor Lake for fishing, boating and swimming.

Power is conveniently available through a generator for our RV and for the lights at night, with easy refueling using our provided 5-gallon gas can.

The RV also includes a toilet and shower for your comfort.

While there’s no running water on-site, we recommend bringing a small water supply for short showers and toilet use. Our family uses a 5-gallon Igloo water jug, which provides plenty for a relaxing stay.

ABOUT THE PARK
This campground currently offers 26 spacious sites, 12 of which are pull-through. Included in these sites are both 30- and 50-amp hookups, water, sewage, WIFI, gorgeous sunrises, and sunsets. Other amenities include a pet area, children’s playground, fishing, hiking, picnic areas, fire rings, a full kitchen available for special events (located in the office), detached bathroom and shower facilities, ice machine, outdoor and indoor TV, communal area with smoker, gazebos and outdoor games.If you have any questions about amenities that are available please contact the office.

    Come get a big dose of Texas!  Working cattle ranch with 200 acres of rugged country to explore. Quite often we will ride by the cabin on the horses and kids can climb on for a photo or short ride. 

    Take a dip in the the 6 acre private lake that also offers great fishing and kayaking. Want some adventure? Sign up for the Jeep tour of the ranch. Serious about fishing? Get the 2 man bass boat with trolling motor. 

    Want to see stars? We are an hour SW of Fort Worth so well away from the city lights.

    Your well behaved dogs are welcome but please add under extras the $25 additional cleaning fee. If they are don’t leave hair everywhere I will refund it.
