We have fishing poles, Jon boats, motorized barge available for rent. There is fire pit, gas grill (please don’t put charcoal in it) , diving board (when lake is full, ask or check if ok to use). No food is provided you must bring your own, don't forget your coffee, there is a coffee pot but not coffee. No toiletries are provided. Site is 10 minutes from Stephenville, 3 miles from County Store in Huckabay. Linens, towels provided. Board games are available if requested, Wii, ping-pong table, outdoor games, trampoline on site. Land owners located across lake and may be on lake or available as needed. GPS should get you here. You will go past Little Off Ranch house, follow road to lake house. Keys will be left out on porch on arrival day. Wi-Fi is now available but no cable television. TV is available to use for Wii or DVD/VHS. Large collection of movies available. Pets are welcome as long as they don’t damage home, chase cows, kill chickens or are dangerous to others. There is an extra fee for pets. Come stay on our 100 acre Richard Creek Valley getaway, gently tucked away on the north slope. There are four campsites on the property and they are all at least 150 yards away from each other. Each site is private. When the ground is dry there is access for all vehicles. When the ground is muddy, Brookside, RiverRock, and Richardson Creek campsites require a 4-wheel drive and have alternate routes to get to them. Ancient Oaks is an all-weather site. You can enjoy hiking and swimming in Richardson Creek when water levels permit. Canoeing from Bakers Crossing put-in which is only 3 miles away.

Our family had a great stay at Liberty! The overall property is beautiful. We spent our time exploring the property, hanging with the animals, watching the wildlife, and making s'mores at the fire pit. The camper itself is well equipped (real toilet!) but is also 75+ years old and shows her age in some places. We were thankful for the AC as we stayed during June.

Such an awesome place. The ranch is big enough that you won’t be cooped up next to any other cabin. Each one is set far apart with woods in the way so everything is peaceful and secluded. It was such a treat watching the animals come and hang out in the back of our cabin. I’d 100% recommend the yellastone cabin. Perfect size, all the cooking utensils, view of the sunset on the back patio with the animals loving that specific spot to come and get some back scratches on some trees. SO CUTE. Also Rupert the farm dog Bassett hound… PRECIOUS. Don’t skip getting the farm fresh eggs. They were so colorful and they tasted fantastic. The pool was also a very nice touch. Honestly this property made me want to buy land so I could have every day be like my time there. Thanks y’all for the awesome stay!!

We had so much fun!! The location is great! It is so close to the riverwalk and downtown but feels so secluded! We love the deer, horses, and friendly donkey! The fireflies were awesome! I haven’t seen them like that since I was a kid. The airstream is rustic but cozy. We will be coming back!

Weekend Trip to Dinosaur Valley RV Park
The cabin was very clean and well appointed. All of the basics including linens were provided. This is a large RV resort with an adult pool and a family pool, which is nice. It is directly across the street from dinosaur world, a walk-through dinosaur park with over 75 life-size dinosaur replicas. The state park allows you to view real dinosaur footprints, along with swimming, biking, hiking opportunities. Very close to Glen Rose for supplies. Fossil rim, a drive-through nature zoo, is minutes away. Definitely kid and family friendly RV park.

Beautiful setting with great views and fishing. Unfortunately a cold and windy front came through our second day so we hunkered down the majority of our stay. Host was very accommodating and attentive without being at all intrusive. Even took our 5 yr old around with us on his side by side to introduce us to his burros! We will definitely be back during warmer weather.

Weekend Trip to The Tailgate Ranch
We love everything. The camper was small but cozy and got everything we needed. We were impressed by the bathe style, it was really cool and again it got everything we needed. The whole place was really clean and quiet. Really good for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed the bed truck for stargazing. The location is awesome, 15 mins from meridian state park which was also a nice place. Julia was so nice and responsive. She responded to my message quickly and answered all my questions.

I had a great time at the little off lake house with my dog. There was plenty of room for him to run and explore off leash. The lake and the boat were amazing too. Lots of privacy, but the host checked in on me to make sure I had everything I needed! The house itself did indeed have everything you could want. Thanks Kellie and Lindell for a great weekend and I hope to come back soon!

Weekend Trip to The Hideaway Ranch and Refuge
This was an amazing place to stay! The animals were a little ilusive however it was a lot of fun hiking on their trails, which were very well maintained, to try and find them. We ended up seeing a llama and horses not to mention the beautiful Texas hill country sunset. They have incredible views here and get bonus points for their easy checkout process and sustainability efforts.

I was welcomed by friendly goats and lil pig. Since, it was a thanksgiving day - I only saw three people in the area. Our tent was superb! Perfect spot for our camping but unfortunately we have to leave after 3 hours of stay coz my son has an anxiety attack. He just got tired from our previous camp (this is actually our second spot). I believe we need to come back here again soon and explore the area. The communication w the host was great. All the instructions were given clearly and the suggested trail to explore. We really need to come back here again soon.

5 nights at Little Off Lake House

If you’re looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway then this is the perfect place. It seemed like we were the only ones there as the properties are far from each other.
The dock is great for fishing! Our boys loved to jump off the diving board to cool off.
This house is great as it’s fully equipped that you can pack just the necessities.
We got to see donkeys, long horn and deer. It was a fun little getaway.
Definitely a repeat trip.

Little off Lake House was a sweet spot to get away for a couple of days with our sons. We were tucked away and had just about one of the best views a person could want and need to rest their minds for a bit. The fishing was fun, they're plentiful, and Kellie providing the option adding on the barge topped it off. We played ping pong, watched movies and enjoyed the deck. The house was clean, mowed around and the AC works great. I would definitely recommend this place to unwind Thank y'all to Kellie and family for sharing with us :).
