We are a Homestead farm and Native habitat preserve.Once the site of Cherokee and Kickapoo Indian camps . The old wagon train road following their trails ,still scar this property 
Now A peaceful wildlife refuge and habitat preserve with artesian streams that run into Ellison Creek Reservoir Lake across the Road. Abundant with song birds, 9 acres of native trees and plants .We are habitat , lane of passage for the animals that call this place Home and stop over for migratory birds and water fowl .We have chickens ,Gardens and Goats as a self sustaining Homestead .I have games ,swings , things to climb, trails to explore or build and a cold clean creek to play in. All easily supervised within your campsite.With preapproval/ You can make bicycle trails, jumps or obstacles during your stay here. you may borrow my bicycles, my kayaks * or my outdoor games. You can feed the animals and pet the bunnies. Baby chicks to hold in season.I can provide you with things to chop up or things to dig up at your own risk.Upon request . I will take you on a nature tour and show you God‘s hidden things in season.  Teach you how to cook on an open fire or just visit for a while just for the asking. You can rent my tent and camping gear.I generally have eggs ,garden vegetables and flowers for sale in season. Multiple items for rent and for sale at the camp store. I will cook you breakfast or provide morning coffee.*We have picnic kits available*.
There is no accident insurance provided for you at this campsite. You are responsible for yourself and every person thing or pet you bring on site. I am not responsible for any accident injury or damage caused by yourself or nature.

The second campsite has plenty of space for multiple tents for bigger groups

BlackBerryPines Disc & Camp

BlackBerry Pines Disc & Camp is 27 acres of Piney woods. The property has a 20 hole Disc Golf course carved out of the woods. Very challenging and technical with Long and Short Turf tee pads. All baskets are Innova Discatchers. Come out and camp and play disc golf all day. 

Property has lots of elevation that makes for great hikes. Couple miles down the road is Barefoot Bay Rv Resort & Marine. The town of Pittsburg is less than 10 miles away for all the normal items you may need (Grocery, Hardware store, CVS pharmacy, Brewery!!! 😉)

The clearing is surrounded by trees and feels very secluded and safe.

Enough space to spread out. Brock has put a lot of work into developing this space in the woods! Can you believe it was completely wild a year ago??

It's been a fairly wet summer, and there were hidden mushrooms! 

Find little places off the clearing to set up your tent or perhaps a yoga mat. This would definitely be my pick if our car would've made it up the road.

With remnants of a petrified forest, dinosaurs, Caddo Indians, pioneers, homesteaders, this land has seen it all.  Now it is a woodland ranch with an event venue, horses, farm animals, trails, fishing ponds and camping.  A true "Country Club" where you can escape your world and the stresses of technology in the style you wish.  We have an on site RV's, and event venue, with 3 private bathrooms with showers, a club bar, catering kitchen and so much more!  Perfect for the family that has a "glamper" and those who want to "rough it".  Big enough to handle family reunions, weddings and parties yet .. big enough to give you the privacy you seek!  Contact us for special events.  In October we host Haunted Hallows which includes a haunted house trail and other Halloween based activities.  Be sure to like our facebook page for updates.  

Close by are the towns of Mt pleasant, Daingerfield and Pittsburg.  All have downtown areas with boutiques, antique and second hand shops to visit.  There are several museums in the area including the Mid America Flight Museum - a private museum of over 60 vintage airplanes in flyable condition.  In pittsburg there is the Ezekial aircraft and local history museum.  also within 20 miles are major likes for water sports and sport fishing beyond our own famous "Catfish pond".

Walk the trails amongs the tall trees and 100' tall pines.

Each year our does give birth to singles and twins.  They are wild so you may or may not realize they are there.  We have several wildlife observation locations near feeders.

News Ranch

This is a quite spot in east texas. There’s woods on one side of us and a cattle/ quarter horse ranch on the other. We have calm red angus cattle on the property and their guard donkeys. If you’d like to feed them just let us know! You can fish near by at a public fishing spot. We will eventually be able to offer fishing on the property, we are working on stocking. If there ends up being an interest in hunting we can look into that. This is a primitive site so bring your gear! Mount Pleasant and New Boston are about 30 minutes away with restaurants and shopping.  

Big Pines Camp

Open property in the process of being developed.  We are happy to have campers who are not looking for developed camping but an affordable option while visiting the area.
