The queen mattress is this loft is squeezed a bit, so it’s best for 1 adult, although 2 can share as long as you’re prepared for it to be a little tight.)

A note about AC:
We have installed very powerful window style AC units. In general, the AC unit can cool 15 degrees off of the outside temp. If the outdoor temp reaches 100 during the peak of the day, it might be 85 in your tent. At night a d in the morning, when the outside air temp cools to the low 70s, your tent can be very cool.
What’s the difference between our 4 tents?
At Talula Mesa we offer 4 glamping tents, each 100 to 300 ft apart for privacy, all with great views of the hill country. Three tents are large (Grand), and one is small (Mini). The 3 Grand tents are nearly identical, with slightly varying decor. The main difference is in the tents’ locations on our property and corresponding view.
- The Grand Aztec: Provides the most open view of the lake and hill country. Located central on the property near the main fire pit and common areas.
- The Grand Arrow: Also has a lake view, but with more trees, less open than the Grand Aztec. Located closer to the entrance of our property, farther from the common areas. Adirondack chairs and a hammock area is just out back (lakeside).
- The Grand Tesoro: Private hill country view across the properties ravine. Located closest to the bathhouse, very central on our property. Also near the common areas. A private chiminea fire area under a grove of trees is nearby.
The price for Grand tents is based on double or triple occupancy. A fourth guest is welcome for an additional fee ($50/nt), which you’ll see at booking.
The Mini Aztec: Located between the Grand Aztec and Grand Arrow tents, with a private view of the lake and hills, and a private chiminea area. For younger children (age 8+) who want to sleep in the mini tent, we recommend the Grand Arrow for the parents because the mini is within view of the Grand Arrow porch.
The Grand Tents have a maximum occupancy of 3 guests. We may allow for a fourth guest upon request for an additional fee ($50/nt).

Casita El Dorado features a full bathroom, couch/murphy bed combo, mini fridge, and kitchenette. Please note that the proximity to the main house doesn't allow for a great deal of privacy unless you are indoors.
Our property is 1.25 acres in a 1970s suburban neighborhood. We think it's the perfect mix of community and urban convenience with a tranquil and private setting. Guests will have access to our backyard and pool and one off-street parking spot. The backyard features several seating areas and a pool that are available to use during your stay. 2 nights at Talula Mesa Glamping Resort
Talula Mesa was charming and a beautiful place to escape and enjoy nature. Our beautiful a-frame cabin was well appointed with amenities described but the pictures cannot do just to the detail of the space and the sun rise and sun set views. We are considering it for a friends weekend to be able to relax, cook together and enjoy peace in the hill country.

Leah's place was very nice. Her backyard was well kept. The private room in the back is nice and clean. She was a very accommodating host. We loved it so much we decided to stay a bit longer!

Leah’s place is such a peaceful and welcoming spot! The land is spacious and beautifully maintained, with lots of room to spread out and enjoy nature. I was greeted by her sweet and friendly dog, which was such a fun surprise. The pool is perfect for cooling off on a warm day, and there’s a cozy hammock tucked under the trees that’s great for relaxing with a book. I also loved the fire pit area—it’s a great setup for sitting under the stars. Overall, it’s a quiet, charming spot with everything you need for a relaxing outdoor getaway.
