If you like to be further away from the hustle and bustle and appreciate more primitive camping, try the CEDAR CREEK Site at the back of the property. This site is near the (seasonal) bubbling creek, under the shade of the Juniper trees. There is a 10x 6ft shade tent with table and optional extension cord for use. (Request power upon booking)   If you like a little more action in your campouts we do occasional music events on site. Ask about those dates when booking. We have a water hose for potable water on property and an open air private outhouse in the trees. We have a strict trash Pack in/pack out all trash and pet waste policy. Leave sites better then you found them and don't cut down anything that is growing. No burn bans if you use the rocked pits and put the fire out before you leave/sleep. Bee Mountain Resort is a secluded off-the-grid campground that's been around since the '70s. And it's pretty well known to the locals. I first discovered the Brazos River back in 1985 looking for smooth water to ski on. And having developed so many great memories camping over the years, I can confidently say our resort is classic and old school. Change comes pretty slow on the Brazos.....and we happen to like it that way! Family, friends, kids and pets all love our amazing getaway; it's a rare gem best shared with good people. Every campsite is located directly on the river and all of them are huge. Firewood, ice, kayaks, paddleboards and generators are available at low prices. Great tasting water from our 500' deep well, clean restrooms and a camper dump station are located on premises. We are very pet friendly providing your pet is friendly.

We loved camping this weekend in our 5th wheel! Everything about it was fabulous. Becky is a great host. The only thing that was tricky for us, because we arrived after dark, was getting to the right road that lead into the property. When I called, they were very helpful and we slid right into spot #1. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we booked the site again and another spot for friends. I am definitely looking forward to our next adventure!

Shaded sites all around for our 21 footers, yet nice and open grounds. Host was very communicative and available! Sites were deep for larger rigs. Pretty and peaceful setting with roads to walk down, and one can't beat the easy river access on a warm day. Full hookups too! Nice deep fire pits, but mine could've used some cleanup from previous campers. Nice mowed lots, but tons of leaves and some branches on the ground (to be expected this time of year on windy days). Nearby house to sites 3-4 was quiet and went unnoticed! Surprisingly, there's a bit of highway noise from miles away to the West/SW, but not enough to hinder a relaxing time. Plenty of picnic tables! I'm recommending and will return.

This is a great camping spot for families. The hosts made our stay easy and checked in each day with any updates and or to see if we needed anything. Being able to get firewood, kayaks, ice, and fresh water from the hosts was convenient. The views along the river are amazing. Cell coverage is limited, which we liked. Wildlife is present all around the property, the coolest being the owls, whose hoots would resonate and echo off the river. Speaking of the river, the water is very calm in front of the camp sites, with most allowing for pretty easy entry. Plan on bringing life jackets for kids. This is a camping spot we will definitely be returning to!

Great place to camp! Clean, private and perfect for my roof tent. Plenty of room and surrounded by trees! Bathroom was very cute, a little further than I like but the trails are a nice walk. Definitely will come back and bring some friends!

Vast property with stunning views and lots of natural beauty. It was great to wake up to the sight of the river in the morning. Unfortunately it rained quite a bit of our time there but we still did our best to make the most of our stay. Be aware the campsites are pretty close together, so this might not be the place for you if you are looking for something secluded. We were fine with it but we did have to listen to a generator 24/7 at the campsite next to us which was a bit annoying. Ice and firewood are sold on property which is a huge plus, although the firewood we had delivered on the first night was pretty damp which made it hard to get the fire started. I assume this is not a problem when the weather is better. Overall great spot and hope to return at some point and have better luck with the weather, thanks Tony!

Becky was a great host! The location was perfect and it was 30 minutes to pretty much anything you want to see in Waco! Mammoth monument is super cool and so is Homestead Heritage but Homestead is very expensive. At the campsite it was a one minute walk to the river and felt secluded.

The host were very accommodating and friendly. The tent site that was reserved for us was the best Tent site had really good tree shade, space, privacy, and views! As mentioned in the description, cell service was little (T-Mobile) or next to nothing (Visible), which was perfectly fine for us and expected. Restroom near the site was great and convenient. Minimal road noise, we noticed the train sounds more. Overall great site and will be back again!
