Located at the end of the road. There is over 20 acres. Some cleared and some still in original woods. Trees, grass and deer everywhere. There is over a quarter mile of Brazos riverfront property although you cannot get to the river on all of it due to it being in its natural state. There is a beach at the main camp that provides easy in and out of the water. the water depth varies with the rainfall but is usually between 2-4 feet deep.

Trickle Creek Ranch was once a dairy, we purchased it 15 years ago and it has become a hobby ranch. We are also collector's of vintage RV's and currently have various vintage trailers and motorhomes on the property. There are horses and longhorn cattle that roam the 12 acres. We have added RV spaces to share the ranch experience with others. Be sure to visit the hey shed where you can visit with animals up close and feed them. Eagle Mountain Lake is only 2 miles away and there is plenty of shopping and restaurants within 10 minutes. We do have some full time residents as well.

We loved tent camping on Amy's land! Everyone very kind and the area is beautiful and relaxing we had a wonderful time fishing and just being outdoors in nature. It reminded me of childhood spent on my grandparents farm. With all the goats, chickens and ducks etc.

Amy's place is always a welcome reprieve from the world. Situated on a nice piece of property along the river, it is a very chill vibe. If you are tent camping, I recommend the Far Far Away site. This is my second time here, and it's apparent that continued improvements have been made. She did have to shut down the honor system store because.... well, people suck. And I hate that for Amy, because she is such a sweet lady. But I understand the decision. If you come here, please be kind, respectful, and pick up any trash you see from previous campers.

Great beautiful spot for my impromptu get away this weekend! My campsite had a beautiful view of the river and a great spot to put up my hammock overlooking the river as well. I’ll definitely need to plan a trip back when the river goes down and the weather decides to behave! The owners are very friendly as well!

GREAT OUT OF THE WAY AND HIDDEN CAMPING ON THE BRAZOS! We pitched a tent in between lots of trees and on the river. Don’t expect it to be manicured. Decent showers and restrooms within walking distance- in a style that one would expect at a campground with this name Gypsy in it. Very relaxed campground . Very friendly Owners/ hosts.

7 nights at Trickle Creek Ranch

Gary’s place was just right for our overnight stays. Super easy 20-minute drive to visit our kids and grandkids in Fort Worth. Gary was a great host, really enjoyed chatting with him and hearing a bit about the old dairy farm. Our two grandsons (3 and 5) stayed with us for a couple of nights and loved seeing the longhorns and exploring the property. We’ll definitely be back.

This was a wonderful spot to camp! We stayed at the Foxhollow site, and it was perfectly shaded with lots of flat ground for tents. The river access with the little beach was perfectly shaded for a relaxing day in the water. A truly great getaway!

Gipsy Moon was a great place for tent camping! The folks there are friendly and helpful, and the sites are lovely and clean. Generally, the campground was quiet and peaceful. We had two five-year-olds with us and they loved swimming in the river and petting all of the goats! We’d recommend, for sure.

Weekend Trip to Trickle Creek Ranch

I have a Ford Transit camper van, so I just needed a place to crash on the weekend away from the city. I really like that even though it feels I am away from the city there are stores and restaurants 10 minutes drive from the farm. I also appreciated they had a nice warm shower and a bathroom right by the area I parked. The fire pit is shareable, but it seems like no one cared for it, so I had it all for me 😅
