This is a fabulous camping spot. The host is friendly and cordial. The location is convenient to necessities, i.e. Walmart, Lowes, Planet Fitness, etc. It's a working farm, so don't expect a quiet setting. While it is serene, there's lots of animals and the noises they make. It's awesome!

1 night at The Meadows at Poplar Creek

We spent a few nights at the campsite while we explored the OHV trails and downhill mountain bike course at Windrock. The thought of tent camping in one of the huge gravel parking lots surrounded by throngs of people and the rattle of RV generators at one of the large campgrounds in the area held no appeal. This spot was peaceful and quiet, just what we were looking for. Extra bonus points for the burbling creek, the amazing assortment of birds that flew around us in the mornings, and quick and easy access to the trails. No conveniences at the site but $3.00 will buy you a shower at the Windrock Campground, and possibly other campgrounds around.

I had a very peaceful stay. Personally, I love the sounds of alert farm animals. The place was very easy to find and access the campsite was easy. The place gave me a very peaceful sense of security for a few days, to leave my stuff unattended while I researched more permanent local areas. Jacob is a great guy and is there to help anyone, the best he can.

Stayed one night in the dry camping area. Easy place to get to. Wonderful sounds of owls hooting and coyotes howling through the night. Bring about 3-4 inch of leveling blocks since the ground is has a slope to it. Ground is more level towards the street but gets steeper as you get closer to the trees.

Very nice site easy to access. There’s a gas station near by and it’s less than 20 minutes from Cookeville or Livingston. There’s also a Dollar General up the road. Great campsite for spur of the moment

Good places to set up a backpack tent.......I did however choose a campsite because it was so beautiful! Steep walk from the parking area to Creekside#2. Be prepared to carry all items. Worth the walk! I will be returning. Hostess is very attentive and firewood delivery is nice! Thalia again!

I really liked that it was a gated area and you had to have a code to get in wished the spot was closer to the water but I do understand I picked the one that you could drive up to and Park hostess was great responded quickly would recommend little noisy at night I live in that it was a great stay. The creek was beautiful!! Alice was so wonderful to stay with, very kind and communicative! There are spaces at the top of the hill for parking and then walking down! If you're going to drive into the creek sites, you'll definitely need 4WD and some clearance. Perfect sites for overlanding!

The land was beautiful and the campsite was well maintained! Alice was a wonderful host and even came out to bring us firewood last minute! She was always quick to respond and very informative!

We had such a wonderful experience staying at Alice’s campsite that we booked a second stay! Alice is a fantastic host—kind, welcoming, and quick to make sure everything is just right. The location is absolutely stunning, with the campsite right next to water and beautiful waterfalls. It’s incredibly peaceful, with mostly the soothing sounds of nature around you. We were initially a little concerned about the shooting range nearby, but it turned out to be no issue at all. The occasional shots are mostly in the mornings and very short-lived, so it didn’t affect our stay one bit. The only tip I’d give future campers is to definitely pack bug spray—being surrounded by nature means there are plenty of little critters around. Overall, this campsite was everything we hoped for and more. It’s quiet, scenic, and a perfect place to relax and recharge. We had an amazing time and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in nature!
