Judy was born in a little cabin just down the road. Judy & Don along with many family members have made cherished memories here over the years. We want to share its beauty with you and your family. Please consider, Clayton Geneva is a primitive campground, gravel drives and left as natural as possible. This is not a sculpted campsite or a concrete campground. The primitive area is as such, gravel, grass, sand terrain accessible by a one lane gravel drive that leads over the hill and around the cliff to the riverbank. This drive is absolutely passable however is left bumpy to keep traffic at a safe speed as pedestrians also walk the drive. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile. Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. As you’ll find all the sites are clear please don’t expect micromanaging of wild growth of our native plants in areas around the sites as we reserve those areas for the wildlife to enjoy. Please consider all the above mentioned details, primitive campsites are not for everyone and that’s ok.

A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

There are cliffs on each side of the creek making it the perfect spot for serene relaxation. Following upstream is an assortment of spots to pitch a tent. The most notable sites are surrounded by hemlock tree's and is peaceful when birds chirp over the small rapids echoing from the large overhang *I am in the process of making multiple sites but until I do so it is first come first serve. There are multiple sites at main campsite and along creek, I've had a private event of thirty people staying at once. There are also smaller spots next to waterfall, uphill near cliff and I've had people go below falls for some complete wilderness (blocked by gorge and waterfall). With this being said, I do offer private bookings and accommodate special events! *I travel for work, so I won't always be here, but I will send directions and details after confirmation and make sure all is savvy during. Please be respectful to one and another and let me know asap if any issues arise but truthfully everyone has been amazing and I thoroughly enjoy meeting and getting to know everyone! Located deep withing the mountains of Crossville, TN is a failed housing development where previous owners were spending a fortune for property tracks of land expecting them to gain some insane amount of value before the housing crash of 2008. All that is left is the "trails" that were suppose to be roads and other types of development. Instead, all you have now is forest and mountains with the peace of quiet that comes with total isolation but is actually within 10 miles of a major city should you feel the urge for modern conveniences. It's as raw of a campsite as you can get, but still easy to find on the GPS because the non-existent roads are still drive-able to some extent through the woods with GPS as a guide. It's an adventure just trying to find the place, but very peaceful and nature abundant.

The location is outside of the nearest town by about 20 minutes. A dollar general and gas station are about a 10 minute drive. Suggestions: 1. Bug spray may be helpful. 2. Bring extra firewood if you plan to cook over the fire. There is plenty of pine if you would like to gather it yourself but very little hardwood downed. I will provide a few starter logs. 3. Bring water if you are opposed to drinking well water. There is an outdoor faucet close to the campsites for well water. Weekend Trip to Clayton Geneva Memorial Camp Ground

This was perfect. You can walk to the water and fish, the portapotty is close to all the camp sites and she gets them cleaned weekly. We drove our truck to the site and the person next to us had an SUV and we had zero trouble getting to site. Banks end looked like the best site since it has the whole end to itself and closest to the water. Sites are well separated and a good space for group camping! Lots of add ons offered by the host from eggs to fishing bait and she delivers your firewood. Close to Cumberland falls and was just an hour and a half drive from Knoxville for a weekend get away!

There was a Chili Cook-Off and Halloween party going on while we were there and it was so much fun. I would highly recommend this location to anyone. We will definitely be coming back many times in the future.

I spent a week on Amber's beautiful land. It is a very peaceful location and Amber was a wonderful host. The river itself is beautiful to look at but shallow and very silty so not great for kids wanting to swim or play in the water. I would absolutely come back.

What a view! This was the perfect spot for just hanging out and relaxing, with fun hiking and sightseeing nearby. We brought our 3 young children with and they had a blast in and outside of the camper, which was clean and contained everything that we needed for a couple of nights. Sheila and Sam were wonderful hosts, great communicators and friendly. Thank you! Would visit again.

Overall, we really loved this cabin. There are a lot of cute touches with the art work and cat perches. It was well appointed for camping (glamping?) and had games, cooking pans, and lighter, etc. Cute and cozy.

The clear walls and ceiling make for a forest emersed one of a kind experience. It is like sleeping on the porch when you were young. Comfy for the whole family.

Another night and day here. Did not want to leave. This place is such a treasure. Hiked to 1 of the waterfalls again and only thing to be desired (besides wishing we had more time to spend) is that fellow visitors would not leave their trash behind. Love coming here and eager to return.

It was such a great campsite with all the basics. It is a lovely property and would be so much fun in the summer to enjoy the water and hang out. It was our first time camping with our 3 year old and 6 year old and had a great time. The walk down to the camp site is a bit steep but manageable.
