My brother and I built it from the ground up and did our best to replicate a 100+ year old mountain cabin. Surrounded by woods, nature and lots of wildlife. Keira's Kabin sits down in a very quiet area on the property along side a spring fed creek. It's very easy to get to and can accomodate up to 4 people. The bunk bed allows 1 person to sleep up top and 2 people to sleep on the bottom. There's also a lounge chair that folds out that another person can sleep on. All the bedding is available at the cabin, but if you want to bring your sleeping bags, you are more than welcome to. There are some eating utensils available as well as a variety of cooking tools (frying pan, tongs, spachulas, etc). You can choose to use the campfire to cook or you can use the propane camp stove if you choose. We also have a hot dog and hamburger holder, popcorn maker, marshmellow spears and sandwich makers that are used for cooking over the campfire. There is great cell service at the cabin but no wifi. Other area services include, Kengo gas station near the entrance of the property and within 7-10 minutes you can be in town to get anything you need. Really beautiful little campground. The swimming hole was lovely, the waterfall and fishing hole hikes were beautiful. The small cabin I stayed in was clean and cozy and in good working order. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean but had a funky smell... I have a suspicion another camper was vaping in them while I was there. It should be noted that the interstate is not far away. Though not loud or obtrusive, you could hear the hum of traffic 24/7

Everything is a close walk, the creek/lake is pretty central to everything and it has plenty of fish. Although the fish seem to only bite for meat not artificial bait. Once you have meat on the hook you can see them show up in groups for it.
All the animals were friendly, or at least curious about us and gentle with our toddler.
July makes it too hot and too mosquito-ee to get out and enjoy the trails but the land was beautiful and have no cell service preventing those never ending work calls and emails was amazing as well.

We really liked the cabin and its rustic yet contemporary feel. However, it seems like it wasn’t intended for use during Tennessee summers where it can be 80+ degrees inside at night. There was a propane heater which I imagine would make this a really cozy place in colder months but obviously we didn’t need it for our stay. The fans & power bank that the host provides plus having the windows opened helped but it was still uncomfortable.

The property is beautiful and comfortable. The loft has everything you need to have a great time away. Clean and air conditioned, we were so happy to spend the days in the outdoors but have the hideaway to come back to. We picked it because it is close to our favorite TN state park, Fall Creek Falls, which is only 15 minutes away.
Krys was so lovely and welcoming! She had our son collect fresh eggs from her hens, which was an absolute highlight of his trip. My family loved staying here and we absolutely look forward to coming back!

Twin Valley Horse Ranch and Bed & Breakfast is such a delightful place! This is our second visit, and we truly appreciate how Janice has created a warm and welcoming environment that is also dog-friendly. Finding spots that welcome us and our furry friends can be tough, so we’re grateful for this special place. Luke’s Cabin is cozy and comfortable, equipped with everything you might need. We also love that here, you can disconnect and enjoy the tranquility without Wi-Fi. It’s a perfect home base for exploring the beautiful Smokey Mountains and nearby attractions, especially Dollywood, which is just about a 30-minute drive away. Whether you want to fill your days with adventures or simply relax by the lake or fire pit and spend time with the animals, there’s plenty to enjoy. We recommend all of Janice’s wonderful facilities, but our personal favorite is Luke’s Cabin.

This is a gem!!! This little apartment is exactly what we needed for a few days away. Krys has stocked it with everything you need to plus a few extras. The bed was comfy, the fridge and freezer was the perfect size. Loved the air fryer/ toaster oven. Coolest bathroom ever. We LOVED all the puppy and kitty cuddles. Krys was a joy to hang out with. I hope we get to come back through that way again soon. We highly recommend.

We had 4 families staying at the property and there was plenty of room for the kids to run around and the adults to relax. My buddy and I had a great weekend getaway to relax at the Woodsman Cabin at Starr Mountain Retreat on 23 acres in the Cherokee National Forest near Reliance, Tennessee. This place is the real deal. It is quiet, private, and surrounded by woods with that perfect peaceful vibe.
The cabin is spotless, well laid out, and seriously comfortable. The queen bed in the main bedroom and the twin beds up in the loft were both very comfortable. They have literally thought of everything. There is a full kitchen, gas fireplace, grill, and all the little details that make it easy. You could literally show up with just a suitcase and feel like you’re checking into a hotel room. No scrambling for basics.
They even had an abundance of dry firewood ready, and they thought of the little things like dry kindling in a bucket ready for use. The fire pit served us well for some great evenings chilling out.
The owners were responsive, and it really shows in how well the place is set up. We felt that the advertisements for this location actually undersell just how excellent it is. This is a first-class spot in the woods. Already talking about coming back. Highly recommend it for any guys looking for a solid relaxing getaway. Thanks Nola and Brian! 🙌

Absolutely the perfect cabin. The cabin had everything we needed and only needed to bring our clothing and food. Nola has thought of everything for this cabin all the way down to the kindling for the fire. The beds were comfortable and the hot water was hot.
