Our sites are located in a gated, private community along the Tennessee River section of Kentucky Lake — the largest man-made lake east of the Mississippi. Spanning over 160,000 acres with 2,300 miles of stunning shoreline, Kentucky Lake is a top destination for boating and fishing. The lake is well known for its abundance of largemouth and smallmouth bass, catfish, bluegill, white bass, and more.
The community features a private boat launch and dock, with boat storage included in your stay. Whether you prefer to fish, kayak, paddleboard, or simply enjoy the views, you can do it all right from your site or from the nearby community water access area.
Several of our sites are situated along a 4-mile-long, tree-lined cove — calm, scenic, and directly connected to the lake — making it the perfect spot for peaceful mornings and sunset paddles.

At Fisherman’s Hideaway, we’re open year-round so you can enjoy riverfront RV living during all four seasons. Our community area is designed to provide you with a relaxing area adjacent to the water.
One buddy pad is available for those traveling together in two RVs, or for those single RVers who would like more space. Two large single pads are also available. All RV pads are compacted, level, and are topped with small gravel that eliminates the dragging of mud and dirt into your RV.
Are you looking forward to lighting up the outdoor fire pit? FHRP has individual bundles of high-quality, seasoned firewood available on-site for purchase.
FHRP is a remote location, so you will need to bring all supplies with you. The nearest towns, Clifton and Linden, are small and they do have basic necessities. Clifton is about a 20-minute drive and Linden is about 40-minutes. You can find much more about the area under the Local Services tab on the FHRP website.

Love this spot! I almost cried this morning while we were packing up. It was clean, spacious and very quiet. We spent out days watching the cranes and fish and waving at others while on their morning or late afternoon walk. We will absolutely 💯 be back. Lori was an awesome host! Thank you so much for sharing heaven with us!

Mavericks Moonshine was the perfect location for us. Plenty of room for our 40' camper, truck and pontoon trailer. Great location on the water so we could just ite the boat off at night. We will definitely be back

I loved this place! Gravel pad, full hookups, WiFi, beautiful firepit and on the water! It was also very quiet and our neighbors were friendly. 15-20 minutes to town, fun hanging out at Clifton marina bar and grill! We will be back! Our host was very friendly and responsive as well!

Had a great stay at Lori‘s property! Plenty of space between sites, Direct water access which was great for kayaks and floats. Easy site to back into and hook up. Was concerned about how much gravel there was and how comfortable that would be, but it is very Fine gravel it was very comfortable under our outdoor rugs. Lori was extremely responsive and was a big help when we had to reschedule due to health issues. Definitely recommend!

A little slice of paradise! Ed and Casey's place was really a hidden gem. The view of the river and boats going by was great entertainment. The "beach" they had with smooth white sand was very enjoyable. There's even a community playground for the kiddos and boat launch. The community was very welcoming with people waving and lots of smiles. We will definitely be returning in the future and after talking with our hosts we are excited about improvements they have planned for the future. Thanks Ed and Casey!

I would definitely recommend staying at silverwater campground. Aaron was a wonderful host he went above and beyond with getting us set up for a carefree camping experience. We will definitely be back and stay longer. The sites big and very private and covered very nice addition!

Where to go
Pickwick Dam Area
South of Pickwick Dam, Pickwick Landing State Park is watersports central, with a marina and an array of boat rentals, including kayaks, canoes, fishing boats, and pontoon party barges. Landlubbers may prefer to play the 18-hole golf course, try their hand at disc golf, or stroll the two easy hiking trails. Campers will find lakefront tent sites and RV sites. North of the river, the Bruton Branch State Recreation Area has primitive tent sites, most of them by the water.
Southwest Tennessee
For more tent and RV campsites, check out the small towns and farms near the lake and the Tennessee River in southwest Tennessee. Glamping options—think cabins, Airstream rentals, and horse farms—are plentiful too, and many have boat ramps. Top small towns for camping include Counce, Savannah, and Henderson, and the TVA manages the 92-site Pickwick Dam Campground in Savannah.
Mississippi & Alabama
Skinny Pickwick Lake stretches from Tennessee into the northern reaches of Mississippi and Alabama, where waterfront campgrounds are just as recreation-focused as their neighbors in Tennessee. Cabins and campsites are close to both the lake and the Tennessee River at J.P. Coleman State Park, which is perched on a lakeside bluff in Mississippi.
Memphis & Jackson Surrounds
Home to the National Civil Rights Museum, blues-playing Beale Street, Elvis Presley’s Graceland, and a booming food hall scene, Memphis is a full-immersion destination. Not far from the city and close to the Mississippi, campgrounds, RV parks, and glamping destinations are plentiful on farms and forestlands. Memphis is 120 miles west of Pickwick Lake, while Jackson, another urban launchpad, is 60 miles north of Pickwick Dam.
