In the summer you can spend time at the swimming pool or take a walk on our trail that leads to beautiful Kentucky lake with breathtaking views! Our camper is in a small and quiet campground, where you can relax and unwind. You will be surrounded by many kinds of trees, shrubs, flowers and wildlife. Every morning you will wake up listening to birds sing and evenings are frog symphony time. You may also have an unexpected visitor - a squirrel likes to have her favorite breakfast (pig nuts) on the porch. The camper has a comfortable queen bed in the master bedroom, living room with sofa bed and dining table, full kitchen, bathroom and two double bunk beds. You may spend most of your time on the large porch which is attached to the camper. It has a dining and coffee table with chairs. Most of the time, the camper is decorated with seasonal plants. We offer firewood, ice and country fresh eggs for additional charge. Close to where the camper is located, you can find a picnic area and pavilion with a propane grill, fire ring and plenty of firewood. The swimming pool is open on sunny days from Memorial weekend until Labor Day. Fisherman can find a fish cleaning station and beautiful pond with a lot of fish and turtles. Camper is not even 3/4 mile from the lake. Restaurants, a gas station, Dollar general, Old Country store with delicious ice cream, coffee, homemade jars of jams and more are within one mile driving distance. The Land Between the Lakes offers an Elk and Bison Prairie, many hiking and biking trails, fishing, boat ramps, Turkey Bay off road vehicle trails and more. Enjoy the outdoors, relax and recharge. We absolutely loved the Bee Cabin! We will definitely be back! The smell and the cleanliness were absolutely amazing when we first walked through the door. The beds and extra room is super spacious! You will not want to spend any time indoors because of the hammock and fire ring!

Beautiful, country setting close to restaurants & groceries. Loved the heated pool and bathroom! It also has a full size refrigerator, a grill and small microwave. Shauna and her husband were very pleasant to work with and had lots of fun stories to share. We can't wait to camp here again.

Amazing host, super nice & informative. When we arrived & seen where we were staying at, it definitely exceeded our expectations. We love primitive camping but this place offers the best of both worlds. We will be returning, as this was our favorite place so far that we’ve stayed!

A total gem! Shuana and Ralph greeted us upon check-in and were wonderful hosts. The property was peaceful and very well-maintained. We enjoyed watching the Kiger horses and relaxing in the pool in between hikes. We felt right at home and will be back, when we travel to western KY.

2 nights at Flying D Ranch

I camped here with my husband and two young daughters. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. They were quick to give us a tour of the area and the specifics of the amenities offered. They periodically checked in with us during our stay to see how it was going or if we needed anything. Great people. There were canoes and two fishing poles, with lures, to use in both of their fish-filled ponds. They graciously offered us use of their fridge/freezer and some refreshments and popsicles inside. The salt water pool was everything you could want. A large 3 ft area for standing along with a deeper end for the slide and spring board. They offered several pool toys and life jackets. We were in the pool nonstop. The bathroom was clean and stocked with travel size soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and make up wipes. The pavilion kitchen was large with a microwave, toaster oven, and table top propane BBQ grill. The RV parking spot was well maintained gravel with a 50 amp hookup. Water connection if needed. We made such wonderful memories here. Waking up to the beautiful scenery and grazing horses was an absolute dream. The girls had an amazing time swimming, fishing, looking at the horses and running around the well maintained property. We will be back!

Absolutely loved our stay at Tanglewood! Camper were perfect and the place was nice, quiet and welcoming. The little general store just opened and was nice to have a place for small essentials without having to drive down the road. My husband and I both are already discussing when we can go back for another getaway!
