In the summer you can spend time at the swimming pool or take a walk on our trail that leads to beautiful Kentucky lake with breathtaking views! Our camper is in a small and quiet campground, where you can relax and unwind. You will be surrounded by many kinds of trees, shrubs, flowers and wildlife. Every morning you will wake up listening to birds sing and evenings are frog symphony time. You may also have an unexpected visitor - a squirrel likes to have her favorite breakfast (pig nuts) on the porch. The camper has a comfortable queen bed in the master bedroom, living room with sofa bed and dining table, full kitchen, bathroom and two double bunk beds. You may spend most of your time on the large porch which is attached to the camper. It has a dining and coffee table with chairs. Most of the time, the camper is decorated with seasonal plants. We offer firewood, ice and country fresh eggs for additional charge. Close to where the camper is located, you can find a picnic area and pavilion with a propane grill, fire ring and plenty of firewood. The swimming pool is open on sunny days from Memorial weekend until Labor Day. Fisherman can find a fish cleaning station and beautiful pond with a lot of fish and turtles. Camper is not even 3/4 mile from the lake. Restaurants, a gas station, Dollar general, Old Country store with delicious ice cream, coffee, homemade jars of jams and more are within one mile driving distance. The Land Between the Lakes offers an Elk and Bison Prairie, many hiking and biking trails, fishing, boat ramps, Turkey Bay off road vehicle trails and more. Enjoy the outdoors, relax and recharge. Take a break from technology, we currently don't offer TV or Wi-Fi. Games are available per request, no additional charge. This seismic activity led to the creation of Reelfoot Lake, a stunning natural feature where visitors can enjoy fishing, boating, and birdwatching, with the echoes of history resonating in the landscape. The name "Reelfoot" is derived from a legend about a 19th-century Chickasaw Indian chief who bore the name due to a deformed foot. His tale of defiance against the Great Spirit, which involved stealing a bride from a neighboring tribe, is said to have triggered the earthquakes that formed the lake, adding a layer of intrigue to your visit. Our family-owned and operated resort, purchased by Bill and Candy Curlin in 1986, is situated at the northern end of Reelfoot Lake, in the Upper Blue Basin. Even if you stay just one night to break up travel (as I did), I highly recommend the Art Farm. The spaciousness of the camp was a delight. I arrived at the property around 9 pm, and Laura graciously showed me a secluded site towards the back of the tract. The nearest camper was far away, and though it was mid-November when I stayed, I could still envision seclusion in a busier season. The land was well-maintained, and Laura offers a variety of camping spots. Paducah was also well worth seeing- a lovely town right along the Ohio River with several cool spots! I’ll be back!

Beautiful RV site in rolling Western Kentucky farm country. Close to all amenities, Paducah and I-24. Both 30 amp and 110 outlets, water spigot, hot tub and outdoor shower.

Loved staying here! I spent a total of four days in the woods and it was the perfect spot to stay in the evening. I especially loved that the tent area was shaded while the camping pit was just a few feet away under the open sky. I didn’t have a hammock with me, but wished that I did because there were so many great spots to hang it. Having the shower was a blessing as well. It was great to be able to start the morning with a hot rinse.

We absolutely loved the Bee Cabin! We will definitely be back! The smell and the cleanliness were absolutely amazing when we first walked through the door. The beds and extra room is super spacious! You will not want to spend any time indoors because of the hammock and fire ring!

A truly beautiful location on a privately owned farm. My site was private, clean and comfortable. As a veteran HipCamper, I've come to realize that you're going to have some road noise if you're anywhere close to your travel route. This was no exception, but completely manageable and I was very happy to stay here twice; once in each direction of my journey.

Beautiful, country setting close to restaurants & groceries. Loved the heated pool and bathroom! It also has a full size refrigerator, a grill and small microwave. Shauna and her husband were very pleasant to work with and had lots of fun stories to share. We can't wait to camp here again.

Lane and Dan's property is a beautiful place for a respite from your routine. Lane and Dan are great hosts and will make you feel at home. They have provided a sparkling clean pool and unique bathhouse (that even has a washing machine) and full hookups at the two shaded gravel RV sites. Away from cable TV and WiFi, nature takes the stage at The Getaway. From your campsite you can watch the fish jumping in the pond, deer strolling across the grounds and thousands of butterflies fluttering about. At night, the dark is broken only by the moon and billions of stars above. The only downside was that the brutal heatwave during our stay limited our outdoor activity. We will visit again.

We had a very nice stay at Laura’s farm. We had the pick of where we wanted to set up camp and we chose the Picnic Tree. We took a short walk to take a dip in the hot tub and showered off in the outdoor shower.

The outdoor shower with on demand water heater could have been the best part but we were given a firefly show over the bean field that made it magical! Communication with Laura was efficient and she responded quickly to our questions. Beautiful space.

Nice, quiet, secluded campground. Our site had 30 amp electric. Water was nearby. There is an on-site dump. On-site showers and bathrooms. They are working on improvements. Owners were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

A total gem! Shuana and Ralph greeted us upon check-in and were wonderful hosts. The property was peaceful and very well-maintained. We enjoyed watching the Kiger horses and relaxing in the pool in between hikes. We felt right at home and will be back, when we travel to western KY.
