Weekend Trip to Uncle B's Produce Farm
Had a wonderful overnight stay on the hippie bus. We were welcomed to the campground in the warmest way, equipped with hippie gear (peace necklaces & rose colored lenses) s'mores kit and campfire wood. The campground had very nice bathroom/shower and kitchen areas. Highly recommend Uncle B's for a relaxing camping experience.

We pulled up just as the harvest moon was rising and felt right at home! What a bonus to see Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore and Red Rocks right there (IYKYK) :)
Brian was welcoming, and had such neat touches to the experience. Flush toilets and warm showers to top it all off :)

Brian made me feel welcome right away. The Hippie Bus is awesome and a great option for those that want the comfort of a soft bed. Definitely would recommend.

1 night at Uncle B's Produce Farm
Uncle B’s Farm was the perfect stop on our cross country road trip! It was a fun, comfortable, and relaxing stay after a long drive from Chicago. We experienced an amazing South Dakota sunset and sunrise over the vast landscapes. The hippie bus was very clean and equipped with everything we might need, including citronella candles for when it got buggy outside, fans, lights, and of course fun music! Brian welcomed us with delicious fresh eggs and vegetables which we used to meal prep burritos and breakfast in the morning. He was also very responsive, giving us recommendations for our road trip and even giving us some ice packs to use for our cooler. You can tell he really cares about giving his guests the best experience! Overall it was a fun and unique glamping experience, even for my boyfriend who is resistant to camping.

Where do we begin?! The host went above and beyond! You are not going to get better service from anyone more than Uncle B himself. He welcomed us with kindness, gifts of s'mores, firewood, hippy sunglasses and necklaces, hot wheels for our little boy, bracelet kits for our little girls, a word search book, and a Swiss Army knife for our teenage son. The gifts were so perfect and beyond generous! Uncle B was outgoing, friendly, thorough with explanations and just made us feel very welcomed! It rained right before our arrival, so everything was muddy, and we didn’t get to take full advantage. But, the opportunities for enjoyment and relaxation were endless. We enjoyed walking the little trails to find “landmarks” and loved the peacocks and turkeys. My husband especially appreciated the shower after two days without a real shower at other hipcamps! The game room looked like a lot of fun and the playground was quaint as well. Just seeing those things made my kids happy. The bus itself was really well decorated. We loved all the lights and the continuous (optional) 70s music was neat! Our oldest daughter said she felt like she was sleeping at home because the bed was so comfortable! We all loved Uncle Bs and truly appreciate all of his hospitality! He’s created a special place out here and he was very good to us! CAMP HERE IF YOU CAN!

1 night at Uncle B's Produce Farm
A friend of mine and I stayed in the Hippie Bus for a night on our way across country and our stay couldn’t have been better. Not only did we get plenty of fire supplies to keep us up to watch the amazing view of the stars, but the round the clock 70s jams were just perfect. Would recommend all around. Brian was very welcoming and informative with plenty of stories.

Our stay at Uncle B’s was very enjoyable! We stayed in the Hippie Bus, which the kids loved; with its fun lights and very comfy bed. Everyone slept great! The property itself is beautiful, and he made it extra fun with trails and “monuments”. Our kids would say their favorite part was all the animals. We saw turkeys, Guinea fowl, a peacock, chickens, his friendly dogs and shy cats lol. The accommodations were more than we could ask for, and it was amazing to see how many people from all parts of the world had been there too! Last but not least, Uncle B himself was more than helpful. He’s generous, kind, full of stories and has a genuine interest in those who come to stay at his property. We enjoyed the conversations and can’t thank you enough for this experience. What a way to kick off our week-long adventure. Thank you, again!

We had a great time relaxing and recharging at Uncle B's. It was a hot day but we didn't find heat or bugs to be any issue at the bus. We had everything we needed and some we didn't know we needed... like Guineas!

It was great spending another night here ,but this time I wanted to experience the hippie bus and I am thankful I did. It gives you the feeling you just went back in time to a simpler time. It was a great way to end my vacation. Thank you uncle b. It was awesome.

After just one night, I feel like I’ve made a friend I can’t wait to come back and visit. The space itself is magical, safe, and truly one of a kind—and the cute animals make it even better. The ready, set, camp site at Uncle B’s was one of the highlights of our cross country trip. Uncle B could not have been more welcoming greeting us with fresh vegetables from his garden, Hot Wheels cars for our boys, and s’mores fixings. He even gave our boys a guided tour of his property including “Yellow” stone, “Red” rocks and mini-Mount Rushmore. The campsite was as advertised with cots, lights and a match ready campfire. The bathhouse was very clean and the warm shower was a rare find. We highly recommend buying some eggs from the farm for breakfast. They were delicious! We would give a rating of 15 out of 10 if we could.

Brian will treat you like his own family.
You get a smores kit, a crate of firewood and a tour of the property, Brian will even get your fire going for you if you’d like. Ive been camping all over the country and haven’t found a better spot. 11/10

The hippie bus is a blast. Speakers inside & out with a fab play list on loop. Uncle B is wonderful, I loved chatting with him and he's a very cool guy with a fantastic property. I'll be going back for sure.

Loved this spot! The bus is so cute and comfortable. Our host was so friendly and accommodating as well. He showed us around the property and brought us a goodie bag and popsicles because it was a hot day. Would definitely stay again!

Loved staying here. Uncle Brian is such a kind and interesting person who was willing to accommodate so much about our stay there. Even gave us free smores and stickers when we were staying. If you’re traveling through the area, the hippie bus is a must see.

We stayed in the hippie bus as our first stop on our cross country road trip, it was awesome! Such a memorable way to spend our first night (a family of 4). It worked great for us because we have 2 kids under 7 who were able to sleep on the futon together. The big bed in the back was super cozy. We stayed there during a hot summer heat wave, it was warm when he got there but Uncle B had some fans in there and it cooled down fast. The kids loved pretending to drive and loved that Uncle B had cut pups “standing guard”. As a welcome gift Uncle B brought us a s’mores kits & kits to make friendship bracelets. It was so cool man! ✌️
