2 nights at Uncle B's Produce Farm

We loved staying in the Hippie Bus for a night - a really "cool" and unique accomodation in the middle of a farm! The queen size bed was very comfortable and the decor was all out hippie. Brian has done a great job fixing up the inside of the bus with lighting, music and a fun landscape mural across the windshield. The next two nights we "camped" out in the Barn Loft, out of the rain and wind. The loft is complete with queen size bed, TV, shower, fridge, stove, coffee maker and microwave. It truly is the barn loft, with a well used barn below. The chickens, turkeys and peacocks are entertaining to watch from the loft window. It was a very quiet and peaceful place to read and relax. And Brian left a dozen of farm fresh eggs for our breakfast! Brian is a great host. He checks up daily to see if anything is needed and very responsive. The sites are all mowed, the bathrooms, bus, and loft were clean, firewood and water is available. Each site has a fire pit. Uncle B's was a wonderful experience and a highlight of our summer travels! We plan to visit again soon!

This camp stands out above the rest. Brian greets you and helps you find the right spot. The amenities listed are surely not complete. He made our trip memorable in all the best ways. I would make the trip again just to stay on his gorgeous land with his incredible hospitality. P.S. get the fresh eggs! Amazing! We did go to Chamberlain as recommended. I have few words for the experience. Absolutely awesome.

1 night at Uncle B's Produce Farm

We loved staying in the Hippie Bus for a night - a really "cool" and unique accomodation in the middle of a farm! The queen size bed was very comfortable and the decor was all out hippie. The bus was clean, in a private meadow with a fire pit and 3 vintage metal lawn chairs! Brian even provided hippie bling including sunglasses and a peace necklace. It was a relaxing and quiet place.

Second time staying here. Is an awesome place to stay on my cross country trip. The tent area is very beautiful and my dog loves being able to play fetch. Highly recommend!

It was great staying at Uncle B's farm. I was only there one night but it was a beautiful spot for that night. I was happy to have a tent ready for me so that I didn't have to set things up when I arrived. The land was peaceful and the host was wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

1 night at Uncle B's Produce Farm

I had a lovely time staying in the Hippie Bus! The bed was super cozy, and the fun lights and great music made the atmosphere really special. Brian is an incredible, attentive host, he made sure I had everything I needed, including firewood, water, and even a little s’mores kit. One of the highlights was the amazing sunset view right from the bus. It was a unique and peaceful stay that I’d definitely recommend!

Stay here. It's an experience, and a great one. Chat with Uncle B, he's got a million stories and all of em are fantastic. The location is PERRR-FECT! The little farm is the right size and doesn't have the bigger farm animals like cows or horses that you'd regret being downwind from. Brian helped us out fitting a new bike rack to our car which needed some drilling and metal cutting. An honestly EXEMPLARY individual and stay. Wish we'd been staying longer and will make a point to go back when next we're within 2 states of the farm.

Felt like I've known Brian my whole life. Booked because I was originally going to be a solo female traveler and the reviews spoke for themselves. Ended up traveling with a friend but would have TOTALLY felt comfortable staying here alone. Brian is just a salt of the earth solid dude. Gave us a dozen eggs, a smores kit, free firewood, a bumper sticker and some great conversation. Bathrooms great, site well maintained, beautiful surroundings. If youre traveling through South Dakota and you don't camp here, what are you even doing? Reevaluate your life choices and get yourself on over to Uncle B's!!!!

This was a great no frills stop. The campground was clean,and well kept. It was on a quiet road. The bathrooms were ok. Concrete floor no frills again. No office on site. Enjoyed our two night stay here. Can’t beat the price either.

Easy to get to. Quiet and clean. Close to bike trail for biking or taking a walk. Didn’t use the showers, but it does have two bathrooms with shower in each.

1 night at Requine and Relax, LLC

My wife and I loved staying at Sarah and her farm. We stayed one night and it was perfect for our 32 foot school bus! Sarah greeted us upon anrrival and showed us where to access the shower and washer and dryer. The bathroom was newly renovated and extremely clean with incredible water pressure and temperature in the shower. We brought our two dogs and walked them on the property with our leashes. We bought a dozen of eggs from Sarah and they were scrumptious. Will definitely stay again!

We booked this out of season but Carole and her husband were so welcoming and accommodating. We loved all the animals and the fire pit. Would 10/10 recommend!

It was nice to have full hookups at the site. The area was calm and pleasant. The site was spacious and easy to get in and out of. Brian was easy to work with and helpful. Will definitely stay again when coming to Luverne.

Awarded South Dakota's best Hip Camp 3 times. Uncle B's farm is a small 11 acre hobby farm with a large vegetable garden, chickens, peafowl, guinea fowl, turkeys, dogs, and cats. There is an old quarried stone railroad bridge and a few short walking trails around the pond. The pond is at the back of the property where I have 6 dry camp sites listed as Uncle B's farm for tents or self contained RV's. All sites have partial to full shade and most have mature trees that will work for a hammock or tensile tent. All of the campsites have a firepit, some with cooking grates and all sites have a picnic table. The "shower shack" is shared by all guests and has 2 separate 3/4 baths with all modern plumbing. There is also a basic outdoor kitchen with a few portable grills as well as a sink with modern plumbing. Available at Uncle B's RV Camper site I have 3 RV sites with water and 30 Amp electrical hookups. My "Ready Set Camp" listing is a dome tent set up and furnished with 2 cots, table, and lamp as well as a match ready fire. The Barn loft apartment is a studio apartment with a small galley kitchen and private bath. The Hippie Bus is new for the 2025 season and offers a trip back in time. Uncle B's farm has been voted Best Hip Camp to see in South Dakota for the 3rd time.... Come see why...
