This Campground is fantastic. The tent area was away from the Camper area which provided a quiet, peaceful experience! The bathroom/shower house was very clean and accessible. The front desk employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The delivery of wood and ice is a bonus for everyone! Highly recommend!

Private yet vast. The sky was amazing at night! Denny was responsive and quick to communicate. He wasn’t around when we booked the site (at the last minute) so he had his neighbor (Bob- a friendly older gent) get us all set up. It was accommodating and a perfect holdover spot for us for the night. Interesting to learn the history of the area!

We stayed one night at Black Hills Campground and it was exactly what we needed. My husband and I were the only guests, which made it incredibly quiet and peaceful. The facilities were well-kept, with hot showers and clean toilets available. It was a wonderfully restful stop and we left feeling refreshed. Very pretty and very quiet place to rest and recoup. Love seeing the cows up, close lots of turkeys and listening to the tree frogs at night. I would highly recommend anyone coming up to stop and camp there. We’re driving a class a 40 foot motorhome although it’s tight getting in we did it with no problem.

Big Pine Campground is phenomenal! Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing tent sites that feel like you are truly in a pine forest…with the conveniences of hot showers and toilets near by, a win-win! My husband and I enjoyed our time here, the town of Custer is just a mile down the road with lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and attractions nearby. Would highly recommend this property!

Space was very clean and quiet! Shower room and bathrooms clean and easy to find. Was a bit tough to find the silo in the dark- but host was very helpful and gave us directions. Don't stay in this place of there's any hint of rain- the mental roof leaves little to the imagination. Sounded like a herd of cattle going across the roof when it rained.

The lodges, domes and tents that we have are fully furnished with linens, towels and a fully stocked coffee bar. Our most praised amenity is our bath house. This features private full restrooms with individual sinks, showers and toilets. We strive to provide a family friendly campground. Therefore, our quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. No loud music or disruptions to other guests, of any kind, are allowed. At any time during your stay, you need assistance, please reach out by phone call, text or email. We thank you for choosing to stay with us and are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your families memories. Check In: Check in time is 4:00-9:00pm MST.
