Neal Creek Primitive camping by the creek is located on private property. The two large campsites are approximately 300 feet apart and are located right beside the running creek. Plenty of shaded area's. We have a 6-8 person tent available to rent as well! Learn more about this land: We are only 1/2 a mile from the Interstate 85. So bring your tents, campers or your small RV and come and setup down by the babbling creek. If you don't have or own a tent, we have a large 6-8 person tent available for a small rental fee too. Build a nice fire in the fire pit. The firewood and kindling is provided. The campsites are semi-wooded areas with plenty of shade. Very well appointed site on a creek. Plenty of seasoned firewood in a shed / fire pit and grill for use and David had removed all leaves from the immediate camping area prior to our arrival. Great stay. Easy access. Thanks!

We had an absolute blast camping here! It felt so private like we had it all to ourselves! Our first night we had some wicked bc but gorgeous, thunderstorms. We ubered into York to trip around for a while, played cards and just enjoyed listening to the creek trickling so close to us.

I had the best time! This was my first ever camping trip, and it was perfect. It's just off of the interstate and easy to find. Camping are was open to the sky and immaculate. Big metal fire ring with more free chopped firewood than I could have used in a week! Cute wooden swing with cup holders in front of the fire pit with a large picnic table, too. Rustic bathroom with great big spigot next to it. The camp also had all the little important extras free to use like a broom, toilet paper, kindling, etc. It was wonderful listening to the stream and hearing all of nature at sunrise and sunset. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful, safe space!!!

Loved the little setup David has down by the creek! Secluded enough to feel away from it all but not hard to find. We loved enjoying the fire pit and listening to the creek running. Would 100% recommend and come back in the future.

Now we only stayed here for 1 night but this was definitely one of our favorites we have stayed at. There are two campsites here on the creek, but they are far enough away from each other that it is fine. Nice fire pit, picnic table, and swing for you to have a good time around.

We loved tent camping in this spot! We were at camp site 1 and felt like there was plenty of privacy from the other campers. We hung up a hammock by the creek and enjoyed the swing. We will come back!

Tent camping was great on the property, we stayed at campsite 2, plenty of space and flat land. Very nice that they had firewood available on the site. Also used the swing and picnic table. It was very nice to have a working toilet and water available. Great for just hanging out with the family and relaxing, private enough, not a lot of stuff for kids to explore, but close enough that we were to Kings Mountain Park. Very clean, had no problems.

This was the perfect site! Beautiful, secluded enough but not far away from civilization. There’s a small building between both camp sites so you can’t hear/see the other group. The trains were a little loud at night but if you’re tired or a heavy sleeper, you should be fine! We will absolutely be coming back!

Exactly as advertised. Loved the dry firewood and swing. Toilet was a bit unstable but nice touch. Would stay again!
