Apply named Too Many Oaks Plantation, a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy time in your hammock reading by day and a roaring bonfire by night, We are planting a small mixed fruit orchard and building a chicken coop and garden to enjoy fresh eggs and whatever is in season. Close to Columbia ( 30 minutes ) for a nice trip to the zoo or a float down the Saluda River with Adventure Carolina. A perfect mix of nice and quite but still close to town. Also just in Synchronous fireflies, which are fireflies that gather and flash their lights at the same time as part of a mating ritual, are expected to light up the Congaree National Park in May. Not too far from other stuff but far enough out you feel peace and quiet! Perfect for kids/dogs! Our nieces and nephew LOVED the walking trail and it’s close/small enough they can adventure in their own while adults relax! Halloween decor was extra cute! Hosts were very welcoming!

We loved hammock camping here! There were enough space for us to comfortably fit two hammocks and a tent. The fire pit was elevated which was really convenient for cooking. There were also pretty walking trails that were decorated for Halloween (we went in October). Would definitely come again!

We camped our way from the Everglades to northern Michigan and this was by far my favorite hip camp. An old farm house under a giant magnolia, surrounded by oak trees. It was like something out of a country song. I will be back to South Carolina and I have so much comfort knowing I have a good safe place to rest my head.

The property was really a great location for our group that were overall new to camping with amenities nearby to pickup groceries or go to a diner when needed! We really enjoyed taking turns on the row boat, and playing card games and monopoly in the cabin area at night. The campsite felt really private, but there was some barking from dogs nearby at night, and sometimes gunshots. Alex, the owner, was very responsive and helpful in finding local activities and resolving any issues we had during the stay!

It's great! Not crowded like the parks with RV's packed 15 feet away from one another and no campers walking through your campsite. The host family was super friendly. There were about 12 deer near the campsite in the morning. The kids loved seeing them.

Great place to pop in for the night. This site has everything you need - electricity, water, fire pit + wood, picnic table, lights, and some activities. Michael was even so kind as to offer us his bathroom and kitchen to use while he was away. I would recommend!

Convenient for us off 77 - outhouse cleanest i have ever seen… The trails at night are magical! If my teen son was an 8 year old again, we would never have gotten him out of there! Great job! And the muffins and cookies we ordered sustained us for several days after we left - thanks and so yummy!
