It is a train lover's dream because we are close to the tracks and enjoy watching the train come and go so much so that the conductor toots and waves to us!! The Santee State Park has many water activities, picnic areas, and hiking trails. There are several golf courses nearby, and a local restaurant/bar within walking distance which often offers trivia, karaoke, pool tables, and live music. 3.5 acre property, last remaining part of old inlet horse farm, with plenty of natural buffers from the few neighbors in our vicinity and between our camp sites, as well as the road. So close to everything the inlet area has to offer. Beaches, tidal inlet with boat ramps, Waccamaw River with boat ramps, restaurants, shops, bars, State Parks, nature preserves, fun attractions and much, much more, all just moments away. We are set up as a “primitive” camping experience, the property is kept very natural, unmanicured for the most part, little to no herbicides or insecticides used here. It’s a work in progress, is difficult for me to tackle chores due to physical disabilities, so some private areas are disorganized at this time. I live here full time, with two cats & 5 chickens whom are all free range. I live here in a double wide by myself, two outdoor cats. Deer, fox, rabbits, hawks and the like are common visitors. This is brand new to me, lots of improvements to be made in the future to make a guests stay even better, so for right now it’s bare bones. Can accommodate tents or certain campers. No pump out, no electricity or running water for “sites” yet, if ever, but running water is here and available for free. Additions to come soon: outdoor shower, available compost toilet available for rent while here, fresh herbs, vegetables, fresh local eggs, firewood, and covered gathering/ cooking area (not built yet) and much more, I’m really excited. Open to idea’s and options. No fireworks/ gunfire allowed at anytime, no “parties”, but gatherings, campfires, games and fun always welcome. I prefer meeting guests apon arrival to answer any questions and help all feel comfortable. I do have medical conditions that may prohibit it at times though.

Although I prefer private spots and not RV parks, this spot was pretty nice! An RV park but not ahuge one with 8 jillion people everywhere, this was limited, pretty spacious and well laid out. The farm area was fantastic and very kid friendly with all different kinds of animals. Well set off of the road but easily accessable. Easy hookups, adequate garbage disposal, easy to navigate in and out. The back roads are bike friendly if you plan on riding. All in all a nice place to take the family or in my case just relax.

Camping in a Peaceful spot, under the stars, critters to feed, walk along side and pet, awesome shower and bathroom facilities, knowledgeable hosts and personnel, playground for the littles, walking trails, easy in and out, new fire rings, cute camp store. We had a great weekend get away. Obvious to us - many stay longer to enjoy the amenities of this location. The farm animals are a delight. We had our 3 GRANDchildren with us - all under 3 years of age. The goats, bunnies, chickens, fresh eggs, donkey, cows, pigs and water fowl were a delight to feed and touch some. The staff were great about sharing their knowledge. We have all agreed to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Laurel Oaks Estates and would absolutely return. The setting is beautiful and very nature-focused, which was exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. We stayed in RV site #1, which faces the horse pasture, and it was such a peaceful view to wake up to each day. The entire property is very quiet, and you’re surrounded by the sounds of nature — lots of birds and even the calls of peacocks. From the estate and a nearby farm, you can also hear roosters and cows, which really gives it that classic Southern Lowcountry feel. One of the things we loved most was how secluded the property feels while still being close enough to conveniences for grocery shopping and other needs. It’s a great balance of peaceful retreat and accessibility. The RV site itself is excellent — a flat, level concrete pad with full hookups. There are two RV spots, and both are set up nicely with picnic tables, fire pits, and Adirondack chairs, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We especially enjoyed walking our dogs along the wooded trails and exploring the other glamping options on the property. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into each camping setup. Overall, this is a really special spot if you enjoy nature, quiet surroundings, and thoughtful accommodations.

This was our third time staying at Outside Inn. We love this campground so much. We stay on our way to & from Florida every winter from Virginia. We stayed for Christmas this time. It’s one if not our favorite place to stay. It’s always so clean & quiet. Very peaceful & everyone is super nice, welcoming & helpful. The animals are the sweetest & it just has that warm, farm life vibe. We look forward to staying again next winter.

I would recommend this campground whole heartedly! To be honest, I wasn't expecting other campers here because of how it was listed on the website but I was very pleased with it. The campground was very clean and well-kept. The campsite was the levelest we've stayed at, and we've camped a lot. There's a central commons area for gathering and so many outdoor games accessible for everyone. It's close to Santee State Park if you want to hike longer trails though there is a short one on the property. We also appreciated the doggy poop stations - non-existent in most places we've stayed at. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would we stay there again? ... Most definitely without hesitation!

I was the only one there camping in a tent. I felt very comfortable and safe and it was nice to have an outlet to charge my laptop. I had an amazing stay while I was there. The staff was so nice and helpful.. The farm was in beautiful condition. The animals looked happy and I loved waking up to the roosters Crow in the morning. The hiking trails were a pleasant surprise to have. They’re very well maintained. The bathroom was clean and very pretty. I got the bottle feed the baby goats in the morning and that was so much fun. They were so cute. There is a Dollar General right down the road if you need anything. I will be back I highly recommend..

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay ! The camp was easy to find < 5 miles off 95, the grounds were immaculate and plenty to keep the little and older ones (like us) busy. Lots of lawn games, hammock, chair swings for relaxing and beautiful surroundings. Our camp pad was gravel but level and the full hookup / site was clearly marked. And the camp store was cute. Lots to see !!! A beautiful pond with hiking trail around the property too. I would NOT be surprised the camp fills up indefinitely because of the location and more importantly the cleanliness of the camp. We will return!

We stayed at Laurel Oaks in our motor home and had a beautiful site (Site1). They have 2 sites with plenty of space in between with concrete pads, fire pit and chairs. The property is beautifully maintained and the host was wonderful. If you’re looking for crazy crowds and like to be jammed next to your neighbors, this is not for you. If you want to be close enough to the beach without all of the hassle, I would recommend Laurel Oaks. We will definitely be back. P.S. …. You can also order farm fresh eggs 😊

We enjoyed our stay at the sunny days tv park and campground. Logan and his team were very welcoming and friendly. Always ready to lend a hand if needed. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that there was a one man band and a food truck there for the evening. The office has many thoughtful supplies and very reasonable prices. We had a great stay! 😊

What a wonderful secluded spot to camp. We throughly enjoyed our time there for the 4th of July. It was very beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle beach but close enough to go enjoy the day. They were very accommodating and let the kids pet the horses and chickens. We got to ride our bikes around the trails and pond that they have with kayaksto use if we wanted to. I would recommend and will be back.
