In 2013 I decided to live life differently and start from the ground up building with natural materials and found materials. At that time I was fortunate enough to have the land passed to me and I started building a home for myself and to be close to my mothers home nearby. The A-frame was comfortable, and I liked that the door was facing the creek. The sound of the water was peaceful. The A-frame was well stocked, and the land amenities were awesome. The bathrooms were clean, and we enjoyed the sauna and cold plunge. There were fireflies when we stayed. We'd love to stay on this lovely land again.

We had a great weekend staying in the Teela Springs Cabin at Cold Springs Basecamp! It was probably the easiest camping trip we’ve ever done as a family. No need for a tent or cooking gear since it was all included with the cabin. A great way to get outdoors and spend time with the family. The cabin had a lot of privacy compared to the other sites we saw which we really enjoyed.

The property is a gem in this area. The rustic cabin was perfect for our group. The facilities were impressive. Nicest campground bathrooms I have ever been in. The cold plunge and sauna was a nice touch and unique. There are trails on the property for hiking or biking and even a waterfall. Great place to base camp and would highly recommend to anyone!

Damon was a nice host that offered assistance when needed. I stayed in the Creek Campsite and it was a joy! The property is beautiful and he has a web that was nice to sit on and look at the stars. Easy to navigate in and out of the site (even with a little sedan). Only stayed for one night, but it just so happened to be a night full of music and a light show.

What an incredible stay!! I will be frequenting. The bathhouse is finished and gorgeous! Located directly across the road from the a frame. Loved the cold plunge and creekside sauna that were walking distance from the site. One of my favorite things was sitting by the creek at the a-frame and hearing it babble from the firepit and porch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, cozy linens. Highly recommend!! Can’t wait to try their treehouse next time!!

We loved our stay at the Windy A frame. It was a beautiful night to stay, jut chilly enough for us to turn the heater on for a little bit but crack a window and listen to the creek. We made a fire and the camp dishes and cookware provided in the cabin under the bed were wonderful to utilize. We used the cold plunge in the morning and Hartwell was so nice to let us try out the sauna as well. It was a great stay, we’d love to be back and will pass the rec along to friends.

Weekend Trip to 3 Creeks Camp and Nature Preserve
We loved our stay at Damon's creekhouse! I've been a few times now and it's such a pleasant experience every time. The house is amazing, we could hear the water, frogs croaking and other nature sounds while laying in bed. 10/10!
