Our girl is one incredible aluminum land yacht that we've christened "Silvia" after a hit song of '72 - Silvia's Mother" by Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show, and because, well, she's silver. She's been well cared for over the past 50+ years, and only the things that really matter have been updated - bathroom, larger instant water heater, new AC, microwave, fridge, Keurig coffeemaker, memory foam mattresses with latex toppers, dedicated WiFi, surge-protected USB outlets – but as far as everything else, from the '70s vintage cookware, utensils, linens, books, games, puzzles, and many '70s music CDs to discover, you'll really dig her vibe. GUEST ACCESS Guests have a gated private double entrance/exit driveway. The entire guest area is fenced/gated, guests have access to the lower property where the ponies are, seating on the bridge for a. m. coffee or p. m. libation. Beware though - the ponies may come begging for a sip. If you do enter the lower property to hang out with the ponies or check out our mini farm, PLEASE REMEMBER TO 1) close the gate behind you, 2) make sure the kids and pets are always under your direct supervision. HOST INTERACTION WITH GUESTS We live in the house on the property, but unless you need us for something you won’t see us at all, and we won't disrupt your stay. You may see us coming and going, feeding the ponies, doing yard work, etc., but we like our space and quiet living, so we won't invade your portion of the property during your stay. We're just a text away. OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE We're just off a 2-lane country road that the local folks use as a cut-through during the morning and evening rush hours, so traffic can pick up a little then, but it quickly settles to typical country road traffic for much of the time, ebbing off to intermittent during the evening and overnight.

This is a beautiful property, and the rustic open air cabin and bunk beds made for a really unique and memorable stay. We’re completely comfortable with a simple, rustic setup, but it was frustrating to have several amenities listed as available that were either missing or not really usable as promised- the water was barely flowing, the solar lights were unreliable, one lantern was dead, and the outhouse seemed overdue for pumping with an empty bottle of hand sanitizer and damp toilet paper. The site also felt a little less private than expected because of the surrounding trails and nearby van site. Overall, we loved the setting and think the experience could be much better with more accurate expectations and a little more attention to the listed amenities.

Hodges Park and Camp is an excellent glamping option!! There's plenty of room inside and an abundance of lighting. Earplugs are mandatory as racing cars and trucks fly down the nearby highway. Arrive during daylight hours as the driveway blends in with the woods and the main road doesn't match with the stoplight.

We loved our short stay! Our family, including a 9 year old boy, enjoyed hiking the trails to the cold plunge and bathhouse. The bathhouse was a treat after a long day. The shelter we stayed in was perfect. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements. Tons of room, beautiful piece of land. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was fairly secluded, and gave us a pleasant camping experience while also providing nice showers. We enjoyed the cold plunge and sauna, and appreciated that the cabin had cooking supplies, dishes and utensils. The creek didn’t have much water in it but our kids still enjoyed playing in it!

Weekend Trip to Spacious Skies Peach Haven Campground

We enjoyed our stay at Spacious Skies Campground Peach Haven! We stayed in one of the cabins and it was perfect for what we wanted. We wanted to do all the camping things, but with two littles it was unrealistic to stay in a tent in the middle of the summer heat. So getting a cabin was a great solution! It was more than enough to provide us a little bit of comfort from the heat. The cabin was supplied with a lot more than what we were expecting which was nice if we had come unprepared. It’s not a 5star hotel, so you’ll find a bug or two and it’s very basic. But it was perfect for our trip! The campground itself was great as well! The workers were nice, they had a lot of activities for the 4th of July going on, and it had everything you would want from camping and still close to civilization! Would definitely recommend.

Corn Cabin is the perfect getaway if you're looking for privacy and a relaxing escape! Before our stay, we saw another review that mentioned concerns about privacy, so we were a little hesitant. Thankfully, that wasn't our experience at all, we had plenty of privacy and felt completely comfortable throughout our stay. We loved the short walk to the beautiful, clean bathhouse, and the sauna and cold plunge area were an incredible bonus. Every detail of the property has been thoughtfully designed to create a comfortable and memorable experience. The owner and host were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be back. 10/10 highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Cold Spring Basecamp

What a lovely stay! The Corn Crib was perfectly cozy and all the amenities were thoughtful without being too much of a glamping experience. Having actual showers and toilets definitely helps to make the experience a bit more enjoyable and the cold plunge and sauna were a delight! This is a close drive for my fiancée and I, so we will be back to try out the campsites and the other cabins!

Loved it. Stayed at bills cabin the open air was neat and the screens kept it warm overnight. I imagine in the cooler months with the wood stove it’d be toast. Cooking equipment was nice to have. Loved the sauna and cold plunge. We will be back

I tent camp here about a year ago, and loved it. The work and improvements they did over the winter is absolutely impressive. From the luxurious bathhouse, to the sitting area near the sauna and the Cold plunge in the creek, I'm am impressed. Love staying here!! Amazing staff.

3 nights at Cold Spring Basecamp

This is a beautiful place to reset and connect to family, friends, and nature. The shelter is well-made and a lovely place to enjoy a rain storm, have a campfire, cook, have fresh water, sleep to the sounds of the creek, have a sauna and cold plunge, all within a short walk of a beautiful bathhouse! It had everything we needed with lights and cook stove and pans/dishes and solar charger. It is very open air, but we had no mosquitos in June! It was perfect sleeping weather.

We loved staying at the creek house. Such a comfortable cabin very cool style. Sitting in there with the curtains blowing the windows open the little fairy lights under the loft it was a level of relaxation i hadn’t experienced maybe never in my life before. If you’re looking to get away from It all, this is the place. I brought two of my kids with me nine and 12 years old I think it was equally enjoyable for them too. The A-frame was comfortable, and I liked that the door was facing the creek. The sound of the water was peaceful. The A-frame was well stocked, and the land amenities were awesome. The bathrooms were clean, and we enjoyed the sauna and cold plunge. There were fireflies when we stayed. We'd love to stay on this lovely land again.
