We are a full-time traveling family of three. During the last two and a half years on the road we've stayed at almost 100 locations. Laurel Oaks Estate is on our top ten list! The property is well thought out, clean, private, and relaxing. We look forward to visiting again while in the area. Bonus: Fresh chicken eggs can be purchased during your stay and the fishing is excellent! We caught quite a few fish in the front pond.

We loved it! Amazing spot for our dog to roam, lovely but short trail around the lake, a little row boat we didn't use but would have been a fun little adventure - we set our tent up inside because the windows are wide open so just to keep bugs off us though we didn't notice many the night we were there - great experience especially for the price! We were tenting and it was calling for a thunderstorm and we couldn't have asked for a better spot to watch watch the rain come down and listen to it on the tin roof!

The cabin was cozy and peaceful, by a nice little pond. Could use a bit more kitchen equipment like pots and pans, but otherwise sufficiently equipped. The heater worked great to keep us warm on cold evenings. My son loved seeing the beautiful horses and animals, and playing with the very friendly farm dogs who kept us company. George and their daughter were friendly and nice to chat to. Thank you for a fun stay on your beautiful farm!

Our little cabin is part of Harbor View community with access to Lake Keowee. There is very little acreage to speak of, but there is a pool steps away with shared day docks and a boat ramp both within a mile from the cabin. Bring your kayaks, SUPs, or fishing poles to enjoy the clear waters of Lake Keowee. We also provide two TuckTech hard-shelled fold up kayaks and life vests for your use, though you should search "TuckTech 10' 2023 kayak instructions" on YouTube to ensure that you are comfortable with assembly/disassembly. Easy Tiger is also a thirty minute drive from Table Rock State Park, with great hiking, beautiful views, and waterfalls. If you like to mix it up and experience city happenings, Greenville, SC is just under an hour's drive away and has great food and events. Greenville also boasts the Swamp Rabbit Trail, an urban trail stretching from down town Greenville to Travelers Rest, with stops like the Swamp Rabbit Cafe in between, where you can grab lunch and a beer! If you are in town for a Clemson football game or other University event, Easy Tiger is about a 20 minute drive. Enjoy your time in Clemson, then double your fun by spending time on the water!

Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark! For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? My goal is to make this land as magical for your family as it has been for mine!

There is also a futon for additional guests.. There is a floor in the dome and both small screen windows and full panel windows for airflow and to keep out bugs. The sandcastle is a "glamping" tent. :-) Because it gets cold in the evenings, we have special insulation in the cooler months to keep you warm, along with duvet and blanket there is also a heater for winter and small ac for summer. The bathroom is private. It is VERY IMPORTANT that only toilet paper goes in the toilet. We have a super sensitive septic system. We have a small trashcan for any feminine products etc. You have your own parking spot and there is a short 30 foot trail to your yurt. Food and restaurants are very nearby in town and I provide a complete list of all my recommendations.For guests who stay in the Sandcastle, there is an outdoor shower, a pool, Also, a kitchenette and grill, fridge, sink, and personal fire pit are available for your use.We have an aquaponic pond with koi that feed our hydroponic vegetable garden and multiple bee hives that pollinate everything. We also have many fruit trees on the property. There is a pond for our ducks, and the intracoastal river that is just a walk down the street.Check out is no later than noon.Guests are encouraged to explore the 6 acre property, relax by the pond, on the deck or by the pool. Unfortunately you just can’t go behind the gates without me.There is access to a outdoor fire pit (wood is available for purchase), the outdoor shower and an outhouse.High-speed internet is provided free of charge. It only works closer to the main house, so you may have to sit outside to access it. Download those movies! There are two grocery stores within a couple of miles away.Our own eggs, honey and vegetables are available for purchase. Price per night does not include breakfast.Other things to noteIf you want to relax in a rural environment and experience a food-based, makers community then this is the place for you.The property has multiple dwellings and many shared spaces. The tree house comes with all amenities for our guest and has an upper deck with seating and a charcoal grill.
