The 1.3 acre parcel across the street from the house and farm has a forested peninsula that the A-frame is located on. Our street ends in a small stream that continues to separate the farmstead from the A-frame site. Come stay in our tiny rustic A frame cabin built of mostly reclaimed materials. Enjoy being across the stream and over the bridge from the main house on a private peninsula. Enjoy the privacy of a "single site" camp! Use the fire pit, grill, outdoor wood stove, single burner butane stove or umm the bathroom :) without having to leave your site! Please be aware we are in town and you may hear road noise, lawn mowers, dogs, ect. You may also see and hear wildlife ex; deer, beavers, ducks, muskrats, rabbits, geese, foxes, and coyotes. We encourage native plants and work to provide a sanctuary for many threatened bird species. The cabin is 100sq. feet with sloping interior walls the flip up side wall is permanently open and screened in. There is no running water or electricity so unplug and unwind. A place to plug in and the water spigot a short stroll from your cabin in the driveway The cabin has a a full size mattress with sheets, blankets, throws and pillows. Lanterns, cooking utensils, camp mugs and camp coffee pot are provided. Please request the cast iron skillet and butane burner, it will not be in the cabin if you do not ask for it. You are also welcome to set up your own tent. Please note cleared space is limited and the tent should be a 1-3 person smaller tent. Outside on the deck are tiki torches, woodstove and bistro table. There is a hammock, picnic table, and 2 sets of outdoor chairs at your site. We do not have a swimming hole but the town beach is 5 minutes away and requires a day pass. If you forget something you are a short walk to Cumbies, and several farms, bakeries and a large grocer are a very short drive away. Venture farther (10 minutes) to one of the nearby hiking trails. We are within 15 minutes of the Blackstone Gorge, Southern New England Trunkline Trail, Cornier Woods, Franklin State Forest, Wojcik Farm, Cook's Valley Farm, the New England Bonsai Museum, Diamond Hill Vineyards, Caroline's Cannabis, Shire Conservation Area, New England Country Club, and many stables. The Commuter Rail to Boston, Wrentham Premium Outlets, and a Drive-in Theater are within 30 minutes. Use us as a base to explore Blackstone Valley, Boston and Worcester!! Come stay on our working farm! Relax and enjoy all that our farm has to offer. We are a small family farm where we raise animals and grow flowers/food. Our family home was built in 1739 and is situated near the street entrance. As you enter the property, you will see two cottages, the oldest corn crib in the county, and a beautifully restored 1800s barn. There is a vintage-style camper to the left of the barn, located in an area where you can have privacy overlooking the pastures. We live on the property and can assist guests with anything that they might need. Guests are welcome to stroll around the property and enjoy all it has to offer. We have a farm store and education center opening summer of 2025! Check our website to see classes and offerings that you might take advantage of during your stay. Please note, that we ask that guests do not enter the barn or fenced pasture without one of the farm owners (Molly & Diego). Our animals are accustomed to people, but livestock is unpredictable, especially to people that they do not know. There is plenty of area outside of the pasture that guests can enjoy. My husband and I loved staying at Treehouse!! If you are looking for a magical place in nature, look no further! The Treehouse is a very private and tranquil spot in the woods that is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life. The hammock was by far our favorite spot to relax in and gaze up to the sky. We had perfect weather for hiking and the trails are well marked and maintained. We even got to see a deer while out on the trails! Nighttime is meant for fires and the fire pit area with tiki torches is beautiful and relaxing. We came back home recharged and refreshed. Bert and Nancy are incredible hosts with the most positive energy! They thought of every little detail and Bert was very attentive just in case we needed anything, but not intrusive. I am pretty sure we over packed lol Can’t wait to book our next stay!

This place was so much fun! It was a beautiful, serene, country location. Don't let the farm vibe scare you - it wasn't smelly, "dirty," or muddy at all; just peaceful. The sound of crickets lulled us to sleep and the cool air made for a deep, restful night. With the door and windows closed, there wasn't much ambient (animal) noise and the rooster didn't wake me up like I expected. The "bed" was more comfortable than I expected. (I'm a wicked light sleeper and expected a rough night... It was anything but!) The RV was quaint and vintage, and so cozy and inviting. The bathroom is small but was just enough for us (shower and all.) Not having to sleep on the ground and being able to have my own restroom was precisely why we chose this site but it was leaps and bounds better than I expected. We'd return in a heartbeat. Nice, central location in CT, and if we were there longer, I would've loved to have used the kitchen and enjoyed the farm more. The coffee maker was a godsend first thing in the morning while we packed up. I feel like this would be an excellent place for an artist or a writer to escape and find inspiration. Lastly, the camper was away from the rest of the structures so we felt like the farm was ours. 1 night was not enough.

This site is a dream. Jae will send you a list of nearby attractions to visit but you will not at all want to leave the magic of the A-frame. The spot is perfectly secluded, simultaneously buried in the woods and full of sunlight, quiet and clean — it was the most rejuvenating weekend escape from the city (my partner and I both slept better than we have in a long time!) The citronella torches kept the mosquitos away, the toilet was easy and clean, and Jae gives you everything you might need (toilet paper, camp stove, water for drinking, water for washing, etc). Had a fantastic weekend at Glamp Frogmore staying in the tent. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully set up - felt like proper camping but with all the amenities you need. The tent had everything we needed including comfortable beds and was surprisingly cozy. The location is absolutely stunning, and we loved exploring the trails around the property. The boating was a real highlight - peaceful and perfect for unwinding. The whole setup feels very authentic while still being comfortable. This property has been in my family for three generations. It is classic Connecticut with hills and streams and stone walls. The octagon is a private 122 ft.² that is electrified and heated. It has a full size bed, cabinet and table with chairs. It sits next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, small waterfall, marsh and 2 1/2 miles of hiking trails. There is a fire pit and outdoor dining area next to the octagon. We also have a propane outdoor grill and propane two burner camp stove. Out house with composting toilet close to octagon is heated. A great place to rejuvenate in the forest! Dogs welcome.

Follow us on Instagram @shitefootfarms As always we are excited and can't wait to share our place with you! We are a small farmette with goats, chickens, ducks, fruits, veggies, and Irish Wolfhounds. The 1.3 acre parcel across the street from the house and farm has a forested peninsula that the A-frame is located on. Our street ends in a small stream that continues to separate the farmstead from the A-frame site. Come stay in our tiny rustic A frame cabin built of mostly reclaimed materials. Enjoy being across the stream and over the bridge from the main house on a private peninsula. Enjoy the privacy of a "single site" camp! Use the fire pit, grill, outdoor wood stove, single burner butane stove or umm the bathroom :) without having to leave your site! Please be aware we are in town and you may hear road noise, lawn mowers, dogs, ect. You may also see and hear wildlife ex; deer, beavers, ducks, muskrats, rabbits, geese, foxes, and coyotes. We encourage native plants and work to provide a sanctuary for many threatened bird species. The cabin is 100sq. feet with sloping interior walls the flip up side wall is permanently open and screened in. There is no running water or electricity so unplug and unwind. A place to plug in and the water spigot a short stroll from your cabin in the driveway The cabin has a a full size mattress with sheets, blankets, throws and pillows. Lanterns, cooking utensils, camp mugs and camp coffee pot are provided. Please request the cast iron skillet and butane burner, it will not be in the cabin if you do not ask for it. You are also welcome to set up your own tent. Please note cleared space is limited and the tent should be a 1-3 person smaller tent. Outside on the deck are tiki torches, woodstove and bistro table. There is a hammock, picnic table, and 2 sets of outdoor chairs at your site. We do not have a swimming hole but the town beach is 5 minutes away and requires a day pass. If you forget something you are a short walk to Cumbies, and several farms, bakeries and a large grocer are a very short drive away. Venture farther (10 minutes) to one of the nearby hiking trails. We are within 15 minutes of the Blackstone Gorge, Southern New England Trunkline Trail, Cornier Woods, Franklin State Forest, Wojcik Farm, Cook's Valley Farm, the New England Bonsai Museum, Diamond Hill Vineyards, Caroline's Cannabis, Shire Conservation Area, New England Country Club, and many stables. The Commuter Rail to Boston, Wrentham Premium Outlets, and a Drive-in Theater are within 30 minutes. Use us as a base to explore Blackstone Valley, Boston and Worcester!!
