Our driveway is located about 3 miles from the start of the Boston Marathon, 8 minutes from 495, but, down a country road. We find our property to be quite peaceful. We do have crickets and frogs to lull you to sleep and early birds to greet you in the morning. Keep an eye out for turtles!
We are a few hundred yards from either Upton State Forest or Lake Whitehall. Lake Whitehall is popular with boaters (speed limit enforced) and is stocked with fish. No swimming. There is a public boat ramp on the other side of the lake. We often put in our kayaks at the entrance close to our house. We hike, mountain bike and picnic in these parks. It's really beautiful. There is a 24-hour grocery store 2 miles down the road.
The gravel campsite is located at the barn end of our driveway in front of the red barn. There is a little privacy from the house, but, we may need to get into the barn from time to time. We have a 30amp and water hookup at the barn. If planning on using electric please add one "electric hookup" extra to each night of your stay BEFORE finishing the request to book, it's really difficult to add it after. Please plan to bring 50' of hose and/or 25ft of electrical cord if using hookups. There is wifi, BUT, it's pretty weak at the barn. Definitely not strong enough for streaming! Our Ibex camper may or may not be parked next to the barn depending on if we are out camping! We do not accept car campers.
Turtle Path also has a Guest Suite. Find us on that other website! Shortly after we moved in we discovered a large snapping turtle on his way from Lake Whitehall to the creek at the back of our property. Our neighbor told us that's the turtle's usual route. Turtle won our hearts that day.

Chris and Tiffany were great hosts, kind, helpful, also great recommendations. The animals were a plus, also timed it right for sheep shearing! Ask about the syrup, very cool and very good!! Definitely be coming back at some point!!

A must for anyone exploring RI! Jim and Amy’s good communication and courtesy went above and beyond.
Wide pull in on hard asphalt, for my 20 ft campervan in a very quiet low traffic neighborhood. The section is adjacent to having your stay run south or north, with easy navigation to the highways and away from the more stacked up touristy area.
The Firepit is well maintained, dry wood available and lovely! With grill, gravel surround and patio chair seating, it definitely is many levels above primitive. Easy power hook up. If you have bikes with you, the island is yours to explore!

I know this is listed as an RV spot but it’s also a great tent spot & car camping area as well. Been here a few times and will be back again. Private, safe and scenic, what else could you ask for. Theres also a clean porta potty on site and an epic, natural stone firepit.

We had such a wonderful stay at this campsite! The host was incredibly accommodating and always quick to respond! She was amazing! It made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming from start to finish. We brought our two kids and our German Shepherd!
The campsite was peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully set up. It was also great because it was super close to stores and restaurants as well. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would happily come back again. Highly highly recommend for families and dog owners! 🏕️🐾✨

KSJoy’s property was as described and a nice spot to hang out for a couple of days before the busy holiday season kicks in. Full electric hookup. No water this time of year (was just shut off last week). Nice area. Drove around. Followed the host’s recommendations for local food. Great advice! Had our four dogs with us. The property is close to a fairly busy road so having good recall (or we brought a fencing system) is essential. The road noise Fri-Sun in mid Nov. was not an issue. The host was very communicative and answered all questions but was hands off which we liked. Highly recommend.

Emily and her husband were very kind and accommodating. They have a lovely property and, while tricky to back into, it was a great place to be for a week. The woods behind the house are nice and there are many trails nearby to hike and explore. Quiet, pleasant , and beautiful area all around.

I loved this location, I’m from the town and did not realize this was available. When I pulled up there were agricultural tours going on but everyone cleared out before sunset and I was able to set up a nice secluded area for my fire, great views over the cranberry bog and located closely to convenience stores

The area is very quiet and private. There is water and electric available although we didn't need it. Communication was excellent and host was friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed meeting the goats and sheep. Perfect stay .

Loved this site! A little tricky to navigate to, but quite fun that’s it’s hidden away in the woods with not a traffic sound to be heard.
The animals are so cute (fainting goats Marshmallow & Graham Cracker were a huge hit with the toddler), electric hookup is easy and potable water very nearby, and the hosts were so lovely, welcoming us and communicating promptly to make sure we were settled in alright. We got their recs for activities and food in the area, as well- would love to return to Mystic, and when we do, we’ll be staying here again!
