This is a project of my brother and I, to create a healing center / space for people to come connect with the land.

We have just built a deck to put a yurt on site for healing sessions. I am a cranial sacral therapist and did my yoga teacher training in India, taught in India, Australia, Hawaii, now RI! If you are interested in sessions please reach out to me.

My camping experience here was wonderful! I stayed in my van with my dogs overlooking a beautiful meadow, tucked away behind some beautiful pines. Victoria was an amazing and accommodating host who made us all feel very welcome. Highly recommend!

Victoria has created a wonderful space. It is private and lovely, and I enjoyed staying there with my dogs with no other people around. Victoria gave great directions, and met me to give instructions yet didn't interfere with privacy, which is what I consider important in a hipcamp site. It was my first time there, but I would definitely go back.

Fantastic site! Just primitive enough to feel unplugged, but with proper amenities, leveled sites and raised platforms for easier camping. Close proximity to RI beaches (~25 mins). I stopped over for an overnight stay between surfing, and will definitely be back!

Pretty nice spot back there! We didnt stay long enough to check it out, but the host was very specific with instructions that helped us find it even in the dark. Got some wicked thunderstorms but overall a great experience!

Netty and Vivian are such warm and welcoming hosts, they even included us in their fourth of july family BBQ :,) the RV was so clean and so thoughtfully stocked up with anything we would need. they provided stuff for making s’mores, bug spray, ibuprofen and even q tips, they really put the glam in glamping! it was such a beautiful and peaceful spot. my friends are all from the west coast and they had never seen so many fireflies before so it was just a magical experience for us <3 we all had the best time!!!

Outstandingly quiet, easy marked directions, and hidden forest treasures abound! Book this place and revel in your own canopy of stars! The 2wd low rider mini van went through unharmed and the back in site is wide enough to accommodate an extended truck. The other sites were even bigger.
The communal firepit is HUGE, plenty of room for cooking, you can burn an entire xmas tree in there!
Prompt meet up once I pulled in and I absolutely would love to book this again. :)

Victoria is a delightful person. I just happened to be there at the same time as she was hosting a large gathering of a couple dozen friends. I was invited to join right in. She is intentionally trying to create a mostly wild space where nature is free to thrive on its own. (With a few small areas for cultivated plants, spaces for Hipcampers, and other amenities.) It's important to know that because cars, vans, and short buses can be accommodated quite easily. Large RVs, trailers, and tall box trucks must be prepared to navigate a short but fairly rough dirt road with a lot of low hanging branches. I was able to get in and out in my 32ft class A without breaking anything but if your rig is large and if the exterior cosmetics are precious to you, this is not a good place for you. And that's a shame because the seclusion is divine.

We were looking for a quiet, local site for a one-night “trial run” with our dogs who have never been camping before, and Victoria’s property was the perfect place! Signs made it very easy to find our site, and there was lots of space for the dogs to explore on their 20ft leads. We heard the occasional car and voices from the winery nearby, but otherwise the site was very quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet place to camp without spending a lot on the extras!

Was alone all weekend. Listen to the birds and the owls talking at night. Rained on and off so the fire was important. They have a large fire pit. Next to the winery so next time we will plan that as part of the days events

Tucked away in southwestern Rhode Island is a nice little piece of land that has a little Sandy parking spot a nice fire pit and a piece of land with native plants all over it that will be blooming all summer. I’m sure. I was there during the spring in the violets in the blue were in bloom. It was nice and quiet and we got the rest we needed..

Where to go
Lincoln Woods State Park
Put Rhode Island’s first state park first on your list of attractions. Not far from Pawtucket, this all-encompassing park lets campers design their own vacation, never far from the views—and beaches—of Olney Pond. Trails abound throughout the park, though how to traverse them is a decision best left to you. Horseback, mountain bikes, and good ol’ hiking boots all do the trick.
Along the Bays
Before you reach the Atlantic, a series of bays bookend eastern Rhode Island. As New England’s largest estuary, Narragansett Bay offers campers access to beaches and trailheads galore. To camp all the closer to the water, take the ferry from Bristol to Prudence Island. Meanwhile, further north, campsites near Goddard Memorial State Park get campers up close and personal with Greenwich Bay.
Down South
No visit to a coastal town is complete with a stop on the coast. Camp along Rhode Island’s southern end, where log cabins and RV campsites pepper the shoreline. Make s’mores around a fire pit at Fishermen’s Memorial State Park before biking to Point Judith Lighthouse. Or, head to Burlingame State Park, where campsites come with tree coverage and views of Watchaug Pond.
When to go
Summer is the best—but busiest—season to experience the full range of Rhode Island’s outdoor activities. Maximize your camping options by planning a warm-weather getaway, when temperatures in Rhode Island hover in the 80s. Come fall, the Atlantic Ocean quickly cools down, so look beyond coastal campsites in the shoulder seasons. Both fall and spring are best suited for hiking and exploring Rhode Island’s close-knit towns, while winter camping is all about cozy A-frames and snow sports.
