If you see anything ready for the taking let us know and you can partake in the experience of harvesting and eating it. I absolutely loved my tent stay on Zach and Mariah's farm! I had full privacy when that's what I wanted and a beautiful river so close by! The glamping was comfortable and serene. I got accustomed to the sound of almonds dropping on the tin roof. Lol The tin roof would have been really nice if it rained but fortunately the weather was perfect for my stay. It was a perfect shelter nonetheless. Zach and Mariah are super sweet and accommodating. They showed me a gorgeous river spot. And the animals are absolutely charming 😍 I will definitely return to camp there again!

Zach and Mariah’s land is absolutely amazing! For the past 4 years my son and I have been camping in Puerto Rico for Thanksgiving week, always staying in different areas to really get to know the island. Hands down, their spot is by far the best! Not only is the campsite equipped with most everything you will need, it has a beautiful creek running around and beside it. There are hiking trails to explore on the land, natural pools to soak in with large boulders to relax on, bamboo groves and old growth trees. And the energy of the place is incredible. What we also loved is that when you’re there you feel so far away from civilization but in actuality only minutes away from food, shopping, everything you need. And with Camp Arabuko as our home base, within 15 min to 1 hour you can be at some of the most gorgeous waterfalls and swimming holes on the island!! Or even down to the coast or back in San Juan in less than an hour. This area is now our all time favorite and we will definitely be coming back to stay with Zach and Mariah, whom by the way, are amazing people and so helpful if you should need anything or have questions.. I highly recommend staying here and am already looking forward to our next visit 🌈☀️🌀💦

This campsite is a must-visit on the island. There’s a trail inside the property that leads to a stunning waterfall where you can enjoy the view and even take a swim. The campsite also has chickens, a horse, and a pig, it's clear the host truly loves this place and has decorated it with so much care. She even brought us delicious coffee in the morning, which was incredibly sweet. I’d definitely come back the next time I visit Puerto Rico!

Truly amazing spot to camp. The river borders thousands of acres of protected tropical rainforest. A trail takes you to an epic swimming hole and to a beautiful waterfall!! The bathrooms have the best hot showers on the island. I never ran out of hot water. The covered camping area kept me nice and dry and the stove was handy. The farm and chickens and horse are nice. The hosts couldn't have been nicer! My favorite camp!

It is difficult to overstate just how wonderful this place is. Andres gave us clear and concise directions on how to get there, via pre-recorded video, and that made it easy to get there. The drive itself was marvelous because for the most part you are high on the mountains. We are avid campers and brought everything we needed but have to say that the outdoor kitchen/gazebo was pretty darn cool and convenient! There is a stove, kitchen sink, a “fogón” (cooking fire pit) as well as a full size refrigerator. This was more “Glamping” than “camping”. We camp every month on full moon as I love to watch the moonrise as well as the moonset and this place was particularly special for that. As someone that grew up in Puerto Rico but lived most of my adult life outside the island, what I can tell you about the area is that the residents are extremely friendly, well manners and considerate that I am otherwise accustomed to. Everybody we saw whether driving on or driving out would wave at us, as if we were known to them. I hope you try this place and when you do, I am confident you are definitely going to enjoy it.

What an awe-inspiring, beautiful and grounding experience in Utuado. Our stay at TJ Ranch was more than we hoped for and exceeded our expectations. Tina's warmth, hospitality and farm-to-table meals left us feeling taken care of in a way that moved us to extend our stay an additional night. The cabins were clean and well-kept. The land was a unique perspective of the mountains and the stargazing was phenomenal. Our kids enjoyed the pool and especially the animals. Tina and her family took the time to show them their daily farm routine and maintenance. Be prepared for a windy, uphill drive to get there, but it's totally worth it! We would recommend this gem to anyone looking for a unique, off-the-beaten path place to unwind in Puerto Rico! We certainly look forward to returning in the future!

A hidden gem inside the mountains of the municipality of Cidra. Excellent space to disconnect you from the busy life of the city and get in contact with nature. You can walk, hike, make a bonfire, or just sit at the lakeshore to recharge your batteries. Enjoy the views and the sound of the coqui during the sunset. Enjoy the stars and the night sky away from the city. Live the experience of the past and remember our grandparents. In the grandpa's house, you will live like them. This is a triple experience to the past in only one place: 2. In an adjacent structure, the 1950 grocery store, you will have access to a traditional bathroom with a shower, a 2-burner gas stove, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. You will have the basic commodities but live like Grandpa. 3. Visit the iconic ranch where Bad Bunny film his musical video "Pitorro de Coco" Boricua owned! Guest access You will have access to the entire property. The grandpa's house and grocery store (where the traditional bathroom with shower, refrigerator, and microwave are located). This is a rural and country property, surrounded by nature and creeks, with direct access to Cidra Lake. Drive carefully, but all vehicles can get access without problems. Vehicles like a Toyota Camry, an SUV, or a 4x4. Other things to note Use only Google Maps to drive to the property; you can get lost if you use other apps like Apple Maps. Remember this is a rural area with just a few traffic lights; we highly recommend arriving early the 1st time to get familiarized with the area.Wi-Fi: There is no Wi-Fi signal in Grandpa's house, but if you need to use it, you can access the Wi-Fi service close to the main house.You will be in the middle of 5 acres of land, in total contact with nature and in an emblematic property from the 50's. In simple words: there are no screens on the windows, and you sleep with a mosquito net. Insects are a vital part of the flora and fauna, and you can see a wide variety of them in the surroundings, from lizards to fireflies. In the same way, and despite the fact that we have an exterminator visit every 2 weeks, sometimes they can be inside the grandfather's house. A real, genuine, and magical experience.For those not familiar with the local driving conditions, it's advisable to approach the journey with a sense of adventure and patience. The roads, while providing an authentic experience of the country's topography, may require a bit of adaptability from drivers more accustomed to city driving.Compact vehicles are more than capable of reaching our hidden oasis. The key is to drive safely, taking your time to navigate any twists, bumpy roads, and turns with care.
