My neighbor has a flock of Peacocks that are usually out to be seen (it's a hike to see them, but we can take you there if you'd like). Coqui's singing romantic songs all through the night. Crabs in the creek for the kids to catch. It's a jungle. We have a lot of fruit trees on the property. If you see anything ready for the taking let us know and you can partake in the experience of harvesting and eating it. Bananas, avocados, soursop, guava, fig, calabaza, coffee, name, coconuts, pana pen, and more. Clean filtered mountain water is available for purchase. I absolutely loved my tent stay on Zach and Mariah's farm! I had full privacy when that's what I wanted and a beautiful river so close by! The glamping was comfortable and serene. I got accustomed to the sound of almonds dropping on the tin roof. Lol The tin roof would have been really nice if it rained but fortunately the weather was perfect for my stay. It was a perfect shelter nonetheless. Zach and Mariah are super sweet and accommodating. They showed me a gorgeous river spot. And the animals are absolutely charming 😍 I will definitely return to camp there again!

Zach and Mariah’s land is absolutely amazing! For the past 4 years my son and I have been camping in Puerto Rico for Thanksgiving week, always staying in different areas to really get to know the island. Hands down, their spot is by far the best! Not only is the campsite equipped with most everything you will need, it has a beautiful creek running around and beside it. There are hiking trails to explore on the land, natural pools to soak in with large boulders to relax on, bamboo groves and old growth trees. And the energy of the place is incredible. What we also loved is that when you’re there you feel so far away from civilization but in actuality only minutes away from food, shopping, everything you need. And with Camp Arabuko as our home base, within 15 min to 1 hour you can be at some of the most gorgeous waterfalls and swimming holes on the island!! Or even down to the coast or back in San Juan in less than an hour. This area is now our all time favorite and we will definitely be coming back to stay with Zach and Mariah, whom by the way, are amazing people and so helpful if you should need anything or have questions.. I highly recommend staying here and am already looking forward to our next visit 🌈☀️🌀💦

This campsite is a must-visit on the island. There’s a trail inside the property that leads to a stunning waterfall where you can enjoy the view and even take a swim. The campsite also has chickens, a horse, and a pig, it's clear the host truly loves this place and has decorated it with so much care. She even brought us delicious coffee in the morning, which was incredibly sweet. I’d definitely come back the next time I visit Puerto Rico!

The bathrooms have the best hot showers on the island. I never ran out of hot water. The covered camping area kept me nice and dry and the stove was handy. The farm and chickens and horse are nice. The hosts couldn't have been nicer! My favorite camp!

Excellent stay. Luis was very polite and discreet. I had no problem with the camping area. Not far from the town, but high enough to have beautiful views and beautiful sunsets. Weekend Trip to Mountain Retreat

It is difficult to overstate just how wonderful this place is. Andres gave us clear and concise directions on how to get there, via pre-recorded video, and that made it easy to get there. The drive itself was marvelous because for the most part you are high on the mountains. We are avid campers and brought everything we needed but have to say that the outdoor kitchen/gazebo was pretty darn cool and convenient! There is a stove, kitchen sink, a “fogón” (cooking fire pit) as well as a full size refrigerator. This was more “Glamping” than “camping”. We camp every month on full moon as I love to watch the moonrise as well as the moonset and this place was particularly special for that. As someone that grew up in Puerto Rico but lived most of my adult life outside the island, what I can tell you about the area is that the residents are extremely friendly, well manners and considerate that I am otherwise accustomed to. Everybody we saw whether driving on or driving out would wave at us, as if we were known to them. I hope you try this place and when you do, I am confident you are definitely going to enjoy it.

Very peaceful place. I personally enjoy nature and the lake is stunning. Next time I can't forget my fishing gear! You see big fishes close to shore. At night they have solar lights that helps a lot. The running water is only in the bathrooms which are very well kept. A place to get ice and supplies is a 2 min drive. Highly recommend!

If you see anything ready for the taking let us know and you can partake in the experience of harvesting and eating it. Bananas, avocados, soursop, guava, fig, calabaza, coffee, name, coconuts, pana pen, and more. Clean filtered mountain water is available for purchase. As well we keep a regular supply of Caribbean snacks available. Sweet and savory available for purchase. Exciting.
