Finca Arabuko – Riverfront Jungle Escape in Jagual 🌿 Welcome to Finca Arabuko, a one-of-a-kind property nestled in Jagual, Puerto Rico. Finca Arabuko is a lush 41 acre farm with incredible scenery and wildlife. This jungle retreat is ideal for hikers, mountain bikers, and nature lovers alike looking to escape and explore. The campsites are surrounded by lush greenery, giant boulders, scenic trails, and natural beauty. There is over 1/2 a mile of the quebrada blanca that runs through the property as well as many other streams, creeks, and pure freshwater springs. The property also features a community garden area where you can find fresh greens, many of our farm animals, and a jungle playground area. Step directly from camp onto our network of stunning jungle trails, which connect to over 20 miles of hiking and MTB routes through untouched mountain terrain. We offer some of the best trails on the east side of Puerto Rico, bringing many far and wide to enjoy the natural beauty. The property features several swimming areas, right in front of camp and many more along the trails. In the immediate area around the property (10 min drive or less) you can find even more larger swimming holes, some of which feature waterfalls & ancient tiano petroglyphs. Whether you’re looking for peaceful forest walks, refreshing swims deep in the jungle, or adrenaline-pumping bike rides, it’s all right here. Lookout Point Hideaway is our most off-grid campsite for those who truly want to unplug and immerse themselves in nature. This site is primitive camping (not considered lodging) and offers one of the most unique experiences on the property. We provide a tent and an air mattress, but it’s a ten minute hike to the nearest porta-pot. Nestled high among massive boulders and hidden rock caves, the campsite sits on top of a rocky ridge surrounded by lush jungle and beautiful African tulip tree canopies. While tucked away in its own peaceful corner, the real magic reveals itself when you begin the short walk out toward the river. As soon as you exit the campsite and head toward the river trail, the view opens up to breathtaking scenery overlooking the river and vibrant banana trees below. The hike in is moderate and can be slippery at times, but those who make the journey quickly realize it’s worth every step. This spot is completely immersed in the sounds of nature. No traffic, no city noise—just the peaceful rhythm of the forest around you. If you’re looking for a quiet, adventurous, and truly off-grid escape, Lookout Point Hideaway is the perfect place to disconnect and recharge.

At the heart of Camp Arabuko is our cozy, covered jungle pavilion—a perfect blend of rustic comfort and outdoor living. Built along the banks of the Quebrada Blanca, this open-air gathering space is designed for relaxation, connection, and adventure. From your doorstep, stunning hiking trails begin and connect to over 20 miles (yes, you read that correctly!) of untouched rainforest trails. These paths wind through breathtaking river views, swimming holes, massive boulders, and ancient rainforest landscapes. The trails are perfect for everyone—from casual hikers to mountain biking enthusiasts looking for a real adventure. This campsite sits close to the porta-potty for convenience while still offering a peaceful jungle atmosphere. The space includes a large propane grill with side burners, a big table for cooking and gathering, cooking utensils, basic spices and oil, and plenty of seating for relaxing with friends and family. There is room to hang at least six hammocks, or you can set up two small two-person tents or one larger tent in the space. The campsite also features a large fire pit with benches around it, making it the perfect place to gather at night, share stories, cook over the fire, and enjoy the incredible sounds of the jungle. At night, the chorus of Coquí frog fills the air—one of Puerto Rico’s most iconic and magical sounds. It creates a peaceful and unforgettable atmosphere that makes this spot feel truly special. This is a relaxed, peaceful area, great for unplugging, celebrating birthdays, small gatherings, or just enjoying time in nature with the people you love. Tents or comfy parachute hammocks are available as add-ons to your booking. The tents shown in photos may not always be the exact ones you receive, depending on group size and availability. Welcome to our newest campsite, surrounded by giant boulders and peaceful river views. This secluded spot can comfortably fit up to five 2-person tents, making it perfect for groups who want a little more privacy in nature. Fall asleep to the relaxing sounds of the river and wake up to incredible views of the surrounding rock formations. There are two small waterfalls behind the camp that make an incredible sound. From the campsite, you’ll have access to trails leading up to the caves and connections to over 20 miles of hiking trails to explore. We provide solar lights to help mark the trails, plus a porta-potty and grill for convenience. We also offer a tent with air mattresses with bedding. The tents might not match the ones in the photos depending on your group size. This is one of our more secluded campsites, perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful escape in nature. Located next to our deepest swimming hole!

M’s Malanga Grove

Our campsite is nestled alongside the river and just a short walk from the ranch pavilion… close enough for convenience but still peaceful and tucked into nature. Parking is nearby, with only about a 2 to 5 minute walk to the site… easy access without sacrificing that “off the grid” feel. This site can comfortably fit 3 to 4 tents depending on size, and we have enough air mattresses to accommodate your group. We also provide clean sheets, pillows, and air mattresses to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our trails connect to over 20 miles of mountain biking, hiking, and motocross trails… perfect for exploring and adventuring right from your campsite. The property also features over half a mile of river and six natural springs… you’re welcome to bring your own water or purify water from the land. There is a porta potty nearby, or you’re welcome to bring your own camp toilet if you prefer. We also have lighting available if you need it, including rechargeable flashlights and other essentials… just let us know what you need and we’ll do our best to make it happen. Shower is the river, unless you request a shower bag. The water is pristine. We can’t wait to host you and share this special place with you… come relax, explore, and enjoy the experience 🌿

The Coqui’s Corner Nook

Nestled right along the river, this peaceful site is the closest campsite to our Rancho Pavilion. From here, you can relax to the sound of the water and enjoy beautiful views across the riverside in a quiet, grounding space. Nearby you will find a number of spots suitable for swimming. The site is large and has capacity for two tents. The tiny tent is for The site includes a tent with bedding. Tent may be different than the one pictured, depending on group size. As well included is a hammock, charcoal grill, small sidetable, nearby porta-potty access, and a dry firewood hutch. Make sure to hit the firewood bundle add-on. Surrounded by over 20 miles of hiking trails, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore the forest, discover hidden swimming holes, and wander among the large natural boulders that shape the landscape. This land holds a great deal of history and a unique energy that many visitors immediately feel. We simply ask that guests come with mindfulness and respect for the land, the water, and the energy they bring into this space. We can’t wait to welcome you here.

Camp Arabuko-Rancho Pavilion is beautiful and Zach and Mariah are the most gracious of hosts. It's a real camping experience in the beautiful lush rainforest!!! Swimming holes, caves and springs abound. They are actively restoring the landscape with native plantings and have many rescue animals including a very friendly cat named Indy Cat who came to hang out with us in the rancho at night. Zach and Mariah were so generous with their time and showed us around the property and farm. We very much enjoyed our visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for adventure as well as peace and

The perfect spot!!

Carrie and I had a wonderful time!!! Mariah and Zach are beautiful people, and have put together a masterpiece the blends real camping with a touch of the right amount of accomodations. Waking up to the river flowing and the birds chirping. The animals on the grounds, the bonfires and being around awesome people made me forget all about the world. The trails, river walking, swimming holes, hiking, and trails was awesome to explore. Just a little drive and we can visit just about anywhere we wanted to go. The perfect all around balance to everything we needed to recharge the batteries. We love this place and will absolutely be returning sooner rather than later.

Arabuko was exactly what I needed. The land has a real energy to it — quiet, grounding, and beautifully kept. Zach and Mariah are incredibly welcoming hosts; you can feel the care they put into the space. Waking up here felt like a reset. Would come back without hesitation.

I absolutely loved my tent stay on Zach and Mariah's farm! I had full privacy when that's what I wanted and a beautiful river so close by! The glamping was comfortable and serene. I got accustomed to the sound of almonds dropping on the tin roof. Lol The tin roof would have been really nice if it rained but fortunately the weather was perfect for my stay. It was a perfect shelter nonetheless. Zach and Mariah are super sweet and accommodating. They showed me a gorgeous river spot. And the animals are absolutely charming 😍 I will definitely return to camp there again!

Camp Arabuko - Rancho Pavilion

Zach and Mariah’s land is absolutely amazing! For the past 4 years my son and I have been camping in Puerto Rico for Thanksgiving week, always staying in different areas to really get to know the island. Hands down, their spot is by far the best! Not only is the campsite equipped with most everything you will need, it has a beautiful creek running around and beside it. There are hiking trails to explore on the land, natural pools to soak in with large boulders to relax on, bamboo groves and old growth trees. And the energy of the place is incredible. What we also loved is that when you’re there you feel so far away from civilization but in actuality only minutes away from food, shopping, everything you need. And with Camp Arabuko as our home base, within 15 min to 1 hour you can be at some of the most gorgeous waterfalls and swimming holes on the island!! Or even down to the coast or back in San Juan in less than an hour. This area is now our all time favorite and we will definitely be coming back to stay with Zach and Mariah, whom by the way, are amazing people and so helpful if you should need anything or have questions.. I highly recommend staying here and am already looking forward to our next visit 🌈☀️🌀💦

I cannot recommend staying here enough…!! Mariah and Zach were so welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. There aren’t many opportunities like this to stay on such beautiful untouched land with an adorable farm, gorgeous nature trails/ hiking for days… I was able to truly disconnect from the normal daily grind and connect with nature and recharge my soul here. It felt like a private spiritual retreat. I will absolutely be back for a longer stay and tell everyone about this hidden gem.🥹 ✨ 🌳 Thank you Mariah and Zach for everything!❤️

Magical Jungle Paradise

Mariah and Zach are incredible hosts! Accommodating, kind, and very attentive when needed! We are not avid hikers. Not even novice hikers, but Zach was patient and led us on a guided hike through the jungle that we could do that led us to a series of beautiful waterfalls we could play in! We didn’t even wake up sore the next day! There is something to do for everyone! The river is magical with wild ginger growing and every kind of fruit tree you could imagine! Their farm dogs were the absolute sweetest! We got to meet their very friend geese and hold some baby chicks! Mariah gave us a free tarot reading which was fun and Zach took us into town and helped translate in Spanish for us! They took us on a guided tour to El Yunque and a beautiful black sand beach! Tons of good food rec’s as well. Truly the most amazing people! The campsite itself was clean, organized, level, and well stocked with what we needed! We were covered and protected from rain and with the tree canopy we stayed cool in the shade. If you’re looking to feel the healing power of a rainforest and experience what it’s like to live in your own jungle paradise, this is the place!
