2 nights at Finca Sajorí

Since it was the first time camping in my Jeep, I summarized three important aspects for any place to be considered: 1) safety, 2) tranquility, and 3) adventure. Certainly, Finca Sajorí had all three and more. I was able to park my Jeep next to the common area equipped with hammocks, grills, tables, and other equipment (in case one leaves something behind). Curiously, the owners' loving dog came to greet me first. Immediately, I felt the good vibes and the desire to own a dog--at some point in my life. The amenities are eco friendly, and Luis told me about future plans to make the experience even better. Surrounded by mountains and a rich land where different plants and fruits are grown, I was able to do some hiking downhill to visit a beautiful river with clear waters and different spots to enjoy. At night, the view of the sky was spectacular along with the beautiful natural sounds that Puerto Rico has to offer. Thus, I strongly recommend this place for your next camping trip.

Awesome camping trip! from start to finish, our weekend at Finca Bienvenida was excellent. Our host Fernando was very welcoming from the moment we arrived, he made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. He answered all our questions ahead of time and provided great tips about the area. Finca Bienvenida’s amenities were in excellent condition and the local restaurants were absolutely amazing. Jobos beach was like paradise and the water was crystal clear. We loved visiting the Boxlab brewery, it’s dog friendly and a very relaxing. We left with hoppy hearts, and a ton of amazing memories. Everything was nice and neat at our campsite—I’m definitely coming back in the near future. Mr. Fernando, we thank for everything!

I stayed for a night with my partner and everything was perfect. It was really a magical and quiet place, the best part is the rivers and the waterfalls.

Finca Uateke is just beyond beautiful. It is remote and tucked in the mountains away from the main streets, perfect for nature lovers (especially birders!) and everyone who is adventurous and wishes to experience a more peaceful and quiet side to our Puerto Rico. The drive is not for the faint of heart haha but everyone visiting Orocovis should know that! ;) Andres is an exceptional host, he is incredibly attentive and kind and made sure that I had a good time at the finca. He provided clear instructions and helpful videos on how to find the location and how to park there. The amenities were perfect and were kept very clean. You can tell that he loves Finca Uateke and genuinely wants to share it with his guests. Overall, I absolutely recommend that you visit, whether you’re a native, local, or just visiting the Island for a few days. It’s well worth it! :)

We loved camping at Mountain Retreat! All the amenities were super comfortable and very clean. The view is breathtaking. We made a campfire and had a great time with our baby. Andres was super kind and attentive. He sent us videos to make our arrival more and access easier.

This place is incredible. Don’t let the low price fool you, it is paradise with the perfect amenities. We had a 22 foot van that we were able to back up to the Mountain View. It is such an open and peaceful location. I felt very safe there. The bathroom was clean. The shower and washer/drier set up was excellent. The owners Andres and Gabriella were quick to respond and answer questions. They even included a video once you rent to tell you where to go! We will be back!

Weekend Trip to Courage Creek Camp and Trails

Robert accommodated us perfectly. we had access to a full size tent that was under a lean-to, hose water, chairs and a propane stove. It was a fantastic stay in the foliage. We were comfortable and were able to stay dry and under shade if needed. Robert was very friendly and helpful and gave us information on places to explore. Great, great time for our group of 5. would definitely recommended and stay again. Ps. His wife's snacks are DELICIOUS and would recommend supporting her local business!!

Weekend Trip to Rainforest Campground & Glamping

We chose this campsite for our daughter’s 11th birthday. We had a great glamping experience with absolutely stunning views! It was truly a peaceful and scenic escape. The hike to the stream was beautiful but definitely challenging due to recent rain; the trail was muddy and SUPER slippery, so come prepared with proper footwear. The campsites are near a little drop off, so it’s best to only take big kids. The host was incredibly responsive, kind, and provided detailed information that made our stay smooth and stress-free. Overall, a memorable adventure that we will cherish forever!

My husband and I, along with our 9-month-old baby, found the Mountain Retreat to be an excellent destination with stunning scenery, great facilities, and top-notch service. My neighbor has a flock of Peacocks that are usually out to be seen (it's a hike to see them, but we can take you there if you'd like). Coqui's singing romantic songs all through the night. Crabs in the creek for the kids to catch. It's a jungle. We have a lot of fruit trees on the property. If you see anything ready for the taking let us know and you can partake in the experience of harvesting and eating it. Bananas, avocados, soursop, guava, fig, calabaza, coffee, name, coconuts, pana pen, and more. Clean filtered mountain water is available for purchase. As well we keep a regular supply of Caribbean snacks available. Sweet and savory available for purchase. Exciting.
