Upon arrival on the tropical island, stop at a roadside stall or “kiosko” to pick up food and other necessities, and head toward one of Puerto Rico’s remote beaches for a coastal camping adventure. On the world-famous Flamenco Beach of Culebra Island, you can pitch your tent a few feet away from the shoreline. For a completely different experience, check out Rio Camuy Cave Park. Exploring the extensive cave system makes for a great day trip.
