Great place for camping! Hot showers and toilets are a super plus! Hiking is a bit extreme but the views and magical place is well worth it! Easy and convenient to get there. 15min drive to Utuados main town.

3 nights at Rainforest Campground & Glamping

Really beautiful land and very nice set up! We “glamped” in the tent/bed set up and found it very comfortable. We appreciated the fan provided to keep us cool at night. The bathroom and shower were very nice as well! We really enjoyed the jungle walk on the property (but know it’s not for the faint of heart. Very difficult both up and down but WOW so worth it!!) I would recommend arriving in the daylight hours - even with very amazing directions from the host it was difficult to navigate in the dark. Plus, you need to be prepared for an intense drive to the site. Roads are narrow (to the point that you feel it should be a one way but cars will certainly be coming from the opposite direction), curvy, mountainous and a bit pot-holey. This is how a lot of the roads we traveled in Puerto Rico were so just be aware!! We chose to not use the kitchen facility and personally wouldn’t recommend relying solely on that as a means for your meals. Another recommendation is to bring ear plugs! It is SO COOL being immersed in the rainforest but you can’t comprehend how loud of the Coqui (frogs) are & they have a high pitched cry that can easily keep ya up at night. Overall, great and unique experience while in PR!

Last weekend’s camping trip was nothing short of magical. Nestled in a peaceful, scenic spot, the campsite was surrounded by nature’s finest—tall trees, open skies, and the kind of fresh air that instantly puts you at ease. The tranquility of the setting made it the perfect escape from the metro area and close to my favorite beaches. One of the highlights was the incredible sight of horses grazing near the campsite. Watching them roam freely, their graceful movements adding to the already serene atmosphere, was a truly unforgettable experience. Whether it was the gentle rustling of leaves, the occasional distant whinny, or simply the warmth of the fire under the starlit sky, every moment felt like a retreat into nature’s embrace. This place was beautiful and perfect! Our site wasn’t right next to anyone which we loved and it had an amazing view! It was camping but a little less stressful as they had so much already there for you ready to use. The bathrooms were even nice! I would def recommend this place to everyone!

Beautiful! We all thoroughly enjoyed our Lakeview glamping experience! The tent was perfectly set up for two adults and two teenagers. The beds were comfortable. The View outstanding! The kitchen was perfectly practical even with all the leaks, as it rained HEAVILY every afternoon. HOT showers. Lovely walk to the stream and waterfalls. A MUST do adventure! We were sad to find the firewood punky and soggy. All in all a fabulous experience.

Place had everything you could ask for. The night i went it was raining hard, but i stayed dry under the porch which had power and a bathroom. So 5 stars for the low cost

EXCEPTIONAL LOCATION! Loved everything about the trip, and the host's flexibility. There are nice amenities as described and the view is breathtaking. We loved the versatility of the space, where people can either stay at the house, glamp, or camp. Makes for a perfect family trip with diverse generations. Will come again!

2 nights at Casa mango

Camping at Casa Mango was great! The doggo’s Lela and Ocean along with kitty Lenon patrolled the yard to keep the iguanas up in the trees. Plenty of open space to set up. There’s a massive empty field behind the property essentially giving you a back yard with no one in sight as far as the eye can see. Look forward to going back!

Adam’s place was absolutely mesmerizing! The views took my breath away. We had the entire glamping site to ourselves and enjoyed the shower and clean campsite. We walked the trail down to the water which was an adventure in itself. Highly recommend ordering dinner to be brought to you. My kids, husband and I loved sitting out by the fire looking down the beautiful mountain eating some of the most delicious authentic Puerto Rican food. Could not recommend this place enough.

The directions to the property were very clear! The space is well covered from intermittent rain showers. We deeply appreciate Robert and Tonya's hospitality and would highly recommend a stay at their camp site!

We had a great time at Adam’s property. Tent was comfortable and had everything we needed. The views are amazing and the jungle trail down to waterfall was the highlight of our stay. I highly recommend trying out their glamping experience.

I had a great experience camping on Robert's property. So beautiful, quiet, and secluded. Robert and his wife were so accommodating, and I knew if I needed anything they were a short distance away. The campsite has awning to protect it from the rain, which was amazing to relax and listen to the rain hit the roof. The sunrise breakfast was awesome Robert and his wife are very cordial and interesting to talk to. Robert walked me around and showed me some specific plants on his property and also his chickens and geese were really fun to see. 100% recommend this property to any other campers wanting to take a nice break away from the heat andthe city. Although the campsite felt very secluded it was just a few minutes drive away to shopping and dining options. I definitely felt like I made new friends on the island 🙂

With only one campsite on the property, and the comfortably secluded surroundings, you will indulge in peace and beauty. Campers leave feeling refreshed and healthier than they arrived. The fresh air, the perfect sunshine and good quality mountain food feel great to consume. You can enjoy the plentitude of animals here and surrounding the property. Both wild and domestic. If you're a bird watcher, this is like a natural sanctuary. Song birds sing all through the day, and the doves snore beautifully at night. Cranes, owls, hawks, humming birds, parrots, and many more I'm not familiar with visit all the time. We got farm ducks, and chickens too. My neighbor has a flock of Peacocks that are usually out to be seen (it's a hike to see them, but we can take you there if you'd like). Coqui's singing romantic songs all through the night. Crabs in the creek for the kids to catch. NO large iguanas have been seen here. Small tree lizards is all we've ever seen here. We have a lot of fruit trees on the property. If you see anything ready for the taking let us know and you can partake in the experience of harvesting and eating it. Bananas, avocados, soursop, guava, fig, calabaza, coffee, name, coconuts, pana pen, and more. Clean filtered mountain water is available for purchase. As well we keep a regular supply of Caribbean snacks available. Sweet and savory available for purchase. Exciting.

We purchase this property in 2016 but been around since I was a kid we rebuild and old house and work small farm plantains and other vegetables and fruits located next to Guajataca lake excellent fo fishing or kayaking.This campground is a relax space went you can enjoy the real country side island vibe. Gazebo, full bathroom and fire pit. lake levels are low during dry season
