Property is less than 1 acre, it is approximately .25. Himpcamp website doesn't allow me to place that specific information. My Little Shack is a wooden structure property with kitchen and living room open spaces, it has 1 private room with 1 full bunk bed and another full size bed, one bathroom. No a/c, tv, microwave, hot water. Capacity for 4 adults. By kayak you may visit, preferably at new moon night, one of the 20ths world's unique Bioluminiscent Bay. Also you can anchor your boat almost in front of the property (there is no dock for boats there, but you may dock your dingy while visiting Parguera Village, advanced notification has to be made for arrangement.) Located in one of the last truly campesino mountain valleys, this once small family coffee farm has been lovingly transformed into an eco farm of terraces, poly cultural fruit/cacao forest and retreat center. Sana and Papo arrived some 40 years ago inspired by the terrain, PR culture and local community. They are professional musicians, impassioned land stewards, experienced Buddhist meditators and yoga practioners The BOHIO is reminiscent of the rustic abodes of the PR Jibaro culture of yesteryear. Nestled in a cacao polycultral forest and just steps away from the pristine healing waters of Rio Lucia, this rustic yet comfortable hut provides everything one needs- kitchen, shower, state-of -the-art composting toilet, bed alcove, pure , mountain spring water and solar power. Enjoy the kilometer of river cascades and pools surrounded by 500+ acres of the Barreal watershed officially designated as an ecological nondevelopment zone. There is no environ on the island quite like this- the perfect place to retreat from the hustle-bustle of modern life and commune with the serenity and beauty of the forest.
